I was in tonight and made so welcome by the two bubbly girls behind the bar. Very entertaining and made my night so thanks.

I called to see if the pub was still doing food and were they dog friendly. I was told yes and yes. I arrived to find a table reserved with a bowl of water for the dogs. Excellent food and even better service from Natalie.

Friendly staff and nice burger meal. Enjoyed a game of pool and darts.

Good food felt really welcome will definitely be going back but this time with our furry friends as dogs are allowed can't fault the place

Super friendly pub with great food and service. Lovely outdoor area and made a proper fuss of our dog including free treats. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Was staying nearby, visited for a couple of Beers, could not of felt less welcome, would never go back.

Stayed overnight in our motorhome in the carpark. Great visit would recommend 👌

Booked this for a Sat night dinner. The place was certainly lively. Food was fine and the service friendly though the area we were in could have been better (right beside the big TV).

Great little pub just off the beaten road in Carlisle, we had the pollo pizza and the Singapore noodles, both were filling and really fresh, staff are attentive, and cosy warm environment this afternoon, we shall be back Thank you

Food was good not exceptional but hearty and good enough portions. Staff friendly but had to wait ages to order drinks. Good value for money. We will certainly go back again and recommend to others to go. Good point is there are NO steps to enter from the car park.

Great pub/restaurant this and my commendation to the bar maid who sorted us. I think she was Sarah? Very attentive and explained the menu and the specials and how to save a few quid. This even though she was clearly very busy. Pool table, big screen sport and lovely beer garden, the Harraby Pub & Kitchen ticks all the boxes for sure and it is dog friendly. Wide range of food on the menu from small plates of wings to all day breakfasts. Easily accessible from a quiet car park off the main road and great for wheel chair users as a fairly level site. Food was above average and enjoyed by us four on an Easter Friday that was pretty busy and great atmosphere in the pub. If you're in the area this is a safe bet for sure.

We discovered this pub by accident, but really pleased we did. The welcome was friendly, service helpful and efficient and when the food was served all three courses were delightful. The meal was reasonably priced and great value for money.

First time in, nice layout, good atmosphere and a tasty pint of Guinness or three. Will go back to try a scran at some point

Kitchen was closed yesterday&today but didn't go for food. Service was quick efficient & polite. Room was clean &bright.

Great food, well cooked, served hot and nicely priced. Sarah was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Will be back later for our tea (or dinner as some like to call it) 😁.

2 couples and associated children called in here for our evening meal after an afternoon spent bowling, it’s a nice place and the staff are friendly, however I ordered the mixed grill, when it came it looked really good, unfortunately the chicken breast was still raw in the middle, this is unforgivable and hence the bad review, you simply can’t serve raw chicken to people, it’s basic food hygiene and prep. This was my first and last visit to this pub.

Stopped in here.for a quick cheap tea before going to the theatre. Arrived very hungry and left very happy. Amazing service,very polite and friendly. Food was of very good quality for the budget, really cannot fault the place.. well except the man talking about his endoscope experience on the next table. 😁

Nice friendly atmosphere, excellent service and fantastic food couldn't ask for more. Pool table, Big screen sport and lovely beer garden, the Harraby Pub & Kitchen ticks all the boxes. Only 1 small problem we now work right across the road so it's a little too handy for lunchtimes 😂

Dog friendly, well-priced food, pints aren't cheap tho!

The Harraby Inn! Who would have thought it would grow from a pigeon fanciers local with a name for the men's main supping area as "The Loft", to its present self. Brown Ale and a pint of mixed have now disappeared into antiquity to be replaced with an array of drinks that are priced to suit anyone's pocket. However, the food is my stand out reason for visiting. Price usually helps determine satisfaction, at the Harraby, satisfaction comes with a great meal at a low price, not forgetting the friendly service.

Brilliant food we had the steak ciabatta it was so nice finished it all every crumb even the salad ;). Will definitely be back top service to with a smile, makes all the difference 😊

It was the first time going to this pub despite living in Carlisle for 50 years and I will definitely be going again I only gave 4 stars due to the food on the floor.

Dog friendly Beer garden open all day every day. Excellent staff. Loved my rump steak cheese melt sandwich.

I haven't been in this establishment for over 10 years and was met like I was a long lost friend. The barmaid was very pleasant (Monday afternoon). We had 2 x pie and chips with 4 veg and gravy. One of my pet hates is not having enough gravy, but I didn't need to worry hear. There was more than enough. Great pub food and very pleasant staff. Will be back again.

Found this place out of sheer luck whilst on our travels in/around the Lake District during late lunch/early dinner time, the place was surprisingly quiet during our visit. The lady who was working at the time was absolutely lovely and super accommodating of me and my family. The atmosphere was generally lovely within the place and they played some bangers during our meal. Food was superb for us all and portions were BIG (even on the kids meal).

Called here whilst on a over night stay in Carlisle. Friendly staff, nice food and overall quick service, would come here again 👍

Lovely and friendly bar/restaurant. The food was beautiful and tasty. A fairly good menu that won't break the bank. There is nice seating outside and a grass area for the kids to run about. My only complaint is that the restaurants is so hot hence 4 stars, a few fans would really make a difference. Would return if in the area again.

Excellent food and service everytime.

Absolutely appalling experience for my father who is blind with a guide dog and very rarely goes out. He went to have some tea and was told he had to sit and eat in the pool room area and not in the main dinning area due to having a guide dog. Guide dogs are allowed to go anywhere. This is the first time in 5 years He has been refused to dine in a normal dinning area. Came away very upset and angry

The lass behind the bar was delightful, worked so hard to serve our bus load, even though she was on her own.

This was our first visit to the Harraby Pub and kitchen. We popped in at lunchtime and had the chicken and bacon salad along with the all day breakfast which were both substantial. The food menu is your regular pub grub, burgers, scampi, pie and mash, fish and chips, the portions were good and the prices very reasonable. Lovely lady behind the bar as well. Will definitely be returning.

If you want a friendly place to dine & wine, look no further than this place! Ian & Maria will keep you hydrated and entertained whilst the Claw will feed you better than your grand mama on a sunday!

Not the best, obviously very understaffed, think they were making one meal at a time and as we were a table of 6 so the first meal was received and eaten before the last meal arrived. Missing items and cold chips. Steak was very nice thought

We went 3nights in a row as we stayed in a hotel opposite. Good food,big portions, friendly helpful stuff. Pub grub but with a few twists.

Not welcoming at all! Sign up saying dogs are welcome so we went in with our dog one of the staff was trying to accommodate us but the other staff member just wasn't willing to help get us a table. So we left.

We had the cheese and bacon burger it was yum. We went around 6p.m so was quiet on a Wednesday, the service was great and friendly staff.

A super find. Close to our accommodation and excellent well prepared food, really fresh, good value and friendly staff. We were inside but a nice outside area too.

This is our closest pub, we used to go every week more than once as we love it that much. In feb my wife was diagnosed with cancer so unfortunately we can’t get there as often due to her chemotherapy but every other weekend we go down to watch the football and have some food. The staff and owners are amazing, they accommodate our needs and are always so friendly. The food is fab too, we started taking some of our friends with us and now they choose to eat here as a family!

Family meal out , excellent service , hot and tasty food , very covid safe . We went for a family meal today , 4 generations from pensioners to a baby . Brilliant service, friendly staff. Hand sanitisers and the staff cleaning everything.

Its changed massively since i was last in harraby inn (90s) great food pleasant and friendly staff hence my daughter's and i are making it a monthly treat definitely deserves 5stars 👏👏

Our first choices on the menu were off. Burger cooked to long very dry couldn't eat it. Not good for our first visit.

Great place to visit. It was quiet and calm. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was they didn't have unfrozen bread for any sandwiches, so I had to pick a more expensive item off the menu. However, overall, I would go back again. Would still like to try the desserts

Visited The Harraby Pub and Kitchen with my two lads whilst away from home for work reasons. I found the place to be spotless. We were immediately greeted by a fantastic member of staff who walmley greeted us (very politely stuck to all COVID guidelines) and gave us a choice of seats. The food arrived in great time. The quality and portion of food was fantastic. The prices were better that I usually pay at home. Would 100% recommend . If I was in area again, I would certainly return again. 5*****

A clean newly refurbished pub, but lacks any atmosphere, unfriendly and meals ok, defo not value for money, maybe more fun with a takeaway in a telephone box.

Ignorant staff that don't practice what they preach regards covid. Can't order a drink with money. If you don't have a smart phone for the ap you don't get a drink.

Dropped into the harraby today with the wife and 4 kids. We had food and a few rounds of drinks and we were totally looked after. The two girls waitressing were brilliant and professional and tended to all our needs, they are an asset to the pub. We will be back.

I was in Harraby Pub & Kitchen on 20/05/21 with some work colleagues for drinks and some food. It was the first time in a while due to lockdown but it was every bit as good as pre covid lockdowns.The two members of staff who looked after us, Natalie and Carl, were brilliant, very friendly and most importantly kept us right regarding social distancing etc so we felt very safe for the duration of our visit plus with table service being in operation they were very busy but kept smiling throughout.The food was lovely, the drinks went down well, we had some laughs and it felt something like normal to be out, all thanks to Harraby Pub & Kitchen. I'm so pleased that they've survived these last few difficult months but they need our support now.I can't recommend Harraby Pub & Kitchen highly enough, I'm lucky to be able to call it my local and as such we have a table booked for next Sunday, can't wait to get back, think that tells you everything you need to know.

I won't be back. The steak for the 3rd time was cooked properly. Twice it was blooded. I said the first time I wanted it well done. Sorry 😞

Waiting-on staff lovely and helpful. However, food was absolutely awful, and they appeared to have a pest control issue as there was an infestation of wasps on one side of the pub and a man (who I presumed to be the owner/manager) just stood at the window squashing them as they came in with a beer-mat. Not the most appetising sight when trying to eat your lunch.

Good food & service, very reasonably priced. Good procedures regarding Covid19 guidelines, would definitely recommend.

Typical pub grub, and served by a very friendly female member of staff. The sticky toffee pudding with custard was exceptional and due to this chain extending the 50% off food during September made this even better value for money and therefore would highly recommend a visit to this pub

My husband & I had a yummy dinner & drinks here on Thursday 17th September & were looked after so well by the lovely waitress Katie. She was an absolute star & made our experience all the better. Thank you Katie 😊

Was looking forward to this as been on web site and feed back and distribution of food looked amazing. however when our food cameTrades description act Chicken breast that would be a no, hidden under a rasher of streaky bacon. Need to speak to your suppliers Cheese and bourbon sauce. eh noChips yeah ok fineCorn on the cob, not cold, but ansolutely freezing.Sorry but the place was empty so no issues with staff being under pressure.Waiting staff apologised,(this is the reason for the one star) have to say they were lovely and really helpful, but with only 3 tables eating you would have thought better.First time I have left food on a plate or beer in a glassAnd before anyone says we spoke to staff when paying before we left and no one from management or the kitchen came forward.

Nice staff, dog friendly, large car park, child friendly, perfect pitstop on the road to stretch our legs and fill our tummys. Big open green space for kids to play, with benches and decking too. Good covid system. Food was lovely too, great value and arrived quickly.

Was here tonight as a party of 9 including 2 children. Track and trace done via an app when we went in. Ordered food off a large menu. It did take a little while to come but was good to know that everything had been freshly made to order. Drinks and food very well priced. Even better when using the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme. All of the staff are lovely and friendly. We have been here a few times before and always been good.

Average food but quick service friendly staff good standards of social distancing during this time menu quite basic couple items not available we stayed at hotel across the road so it was convenient
