The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

Waited at least five minutes at bar with four staff behind, then another couple walked in to get served before us.. see ya later totally ignorant

The cafe is located in the House of Fraser, a long-established department store. It’s a good place to take a rest.

I hated the decor (?), very uncomfortable chairs, noise and requirement to order using the app when there were loads of staff standing about. I did love my mushrooms on toast with black garlic cream which was massive.

Visited with family and visited home farm restaurant. Staff were incredibly rude and sarcastic. Food came and was burnt so asked for it to be redone, took over 10 mins for food to come back to table, and staff member was very sarcastic and stated 'the 1st one was burnt, is this more to your liking and standard?!'. Would not visit here again due to the actions and attitude of staff.

We visited Penrith 'Costa Coffee' on Thursday morning 19th September. Actually I arrived 5 minutes or so before my three friends and ordered my latte. As usual I was greeted by friendly, chatty but business-like counter staff . Later, my friends arrived some of whom have mobility issues and no sooner had they arranged seating and sat down ... then a member of staff called "Kirsty" appeared, unprompted, at the table (it's normally counter service) to take orders and then bring coffees & chocolate drinks directly to the table. The considerate attitude of Kirsty & other members of staff is a credit to Penrith 'Costa Coffee' and means that we will continue to be regular customers in future. A big thanks to Kirsty & others! Lost Barn is one of my favourite brunch spots in the area. I always visit when I have family /friends staying. The great food, lovely coffee and picture perfect spot make it so special. Highly recommend the brunch bowl !

Nice pub on golf course. Was staying at Wychwood Hotel. Nice to have a walk round the site and stop off here for a drink. Lovely drinks area, seating comfortable. Staff friendly

Use to be good - not many in - what’s bad is 5 staff behind the bar and service is not very good ‍♂️- all more interested in chatting to each other and drinking their own drinks behind the bar - now see why no one in - not good - need customer service training

Found this cafe in March this year 2024 and have been back every Friday since, their breakfast is the best we’ve ever tasted, the quality of the produce and the cooking ability is top class, we look forward to it every week. We were only looking for a cafe on the day but it is that good we keep going back. We get a full English and poached eggs with bacon. Their tea is fantastic too. Thanks to the staff who are lovely too. Would recommend this cafe to everyone it’s the best!

this place is a very good place to eat and you pay for what you get and staff are excellent we cannot see why people put bad things on here about the food

Lovely ice cream (even on a cold January day!) served by Mandy (the owner) who was friendly and gave our dog some pieces of ham (which he enjoyed too😊).

Very welcoming staff . Great coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. Lovely fresh food,very tasty . I loved my cinnamon latte today . Much better like starbucks and Costa. I really recommend this place

Met my wife in town on Sunday and needed lunch. Didn’t want a pie or pasty so I suggested here. They’re always friendly and the food is good. It makes good sense and we both enjoyed it.

This cafe is the best in Blackburn bar none the food is top drawer. The chips are crispy 😋 just like they should be the service is excellent. Me and my wife been going in since it was upstairs in the old market. The proprietor is very polite and can't do enough for you. Forget the pub grub try here instead. You won't be disappointed.

This place used to be amazing, all the usual staff are gone and their now appears to be an issue with attitude. Ordered my regular drink, to be told we don't do that, if its not on the menu you can't have it. I said I can explain how it is made, not interested. Contented myself walking 200ft to a Starbucks, drink isn't on their menu either but I sat out and enjoyed a Dirty iced chai with soy...... Perhaps teach the barista's customer service and how to actually be a batista. I won't be back!
