The best restaurants serving British food in North West

The food was cooked perfectly and it was full of flavours and cooked the way I asked to be cooked and it's filling as wish the had more to pick from

Cuando llegaron las comidas no había diferencia entre las patatas fritas pequeñas y medianas, pero en ese momento no podía molestarme en mencionarlo a la señora que nos sirve. Sin embargo, el aguijón en la cola vino con la factura. Lo que no nos habíamos dado cuenta era que este chippy hace un especial que era exactamente lo que mi esposa tenía y creo que en realidad incluía pan y mantequilla, pero nos cobraron £ 4 más por lo que tenía porque no habíamos mencionado el especial. Solo fuimos informados por otra pareja ordenándolo cuando nos íbamos. Posiblemente también hicieron un especial de pescado que habría sido mucho más barato. El especial no estaba en el menú pero lo vimos en el escaparate cuando nos íbamos! Como estaba oscuro cuando llegamos no habíamos notado nada escrito en el exterior de la ventana y realmente sentimos que la señora que nos servía debería haberlo señalado, especialmente como mi esposa lo había ordenado. En fin, comida sabrosa pero una verdadera pena que terminamos sintiendo que nos habían estafado.

I tried to order a full English breakfast without a few items and they wouldn’t swap me anything and tried charging me a extra 1.50 so I thought man 10er for my breakfast that’s a bit steep . So just got bacon and sausage baton and I got one bacon one sausage for 5.50 and to top it off it was cold and chippy sausage. Joke off a place will not be going again . And there is dogs running around in the kitchen

Lovely food, home made and delicious. Also, reasonably priced. Service was excellent too, friendly and obliging. We will certainly return.

Rudest til lady in the whole of Cheshire oaks! Very unhelpful.....shoved all my items on one bag ...handle snapped outside the door! Even after I had told her it's too heavy for I paper bag....she thought she knew better. Certainly never enjoyed a good chocolate....!! Awful experience

When we last stayed in the hotel this area of the ground floor was a not very appealing coffee shop. It has now been upgraded into a pleasantly decorated bar with well spaced seating. We very much enjoyed our visit for a glass of wine before dinner one evening.

Cornflake cookie dough and horlicks delivered, both I haven't seen anywhere else! Delicious creamy Oreo and Kinder Milkshake. Fast delivery, personal little note which brightened our evening. Can't recommend more!

Just wow. The nicest ice cream EVER. The lady serving was lovely and the ice cream was amazing. Will deffo be going back next time we visit this area. Highly recommend.

We love Cleveleys, we live near Warrington so its only a 50 min drive. Cleveleys is not trendy, it does not have the tourist attractions of Blackpool but its a great location for large open beaches, fantastic promenades that you can walk to Blackpool or Fleetwood, both options you can return by tram!!. Cleveleys offers cheap cafes and restaurants, pubs etc and there are many shops on the High Street. Kays Fish & Chips serve excellent food to eat in or takeaway, Bean's the bakers a must visit for real home cooked fresh bakery foods!!. Dickens Inn is a great pub, cheap prices and a lively atmosphere. Its a proper seaside location that is great for kids, the promenade is great for all ages, wide enough for bikes, mobility scooters, running or just a stroll. Overall, Cleveleys is a lovely place to visit. Enjoy

Surely the attraction about going to a bar that was previously a church is being able to sit in the bar and take in the church surroundings and the beautiful building? No. Went in twice on a Sunday and was directed to the outdoor terrace both times. Strange.

Dodgy all around. First off they price the food up wrong and overcharge me. I tell them to show me on the menu and the first guy starts stuttering, then the other guy comes in and he still can’t show me how they got to the price. And the food in general is just rubbish quality dry and the worst meat u could find. No apology or anything about the overcharging and not even the money back.
