Cleveleys has been a favorite day out location for myself and my wife since the Covid lockdown ended in 2020. With overseas holidays severely restricted we just jumped in the car and headed to the coast and Cleveleys was on the list. 6 miles from Blackpool it does not appear to be swamped with tourists but has fantastic beaches and relatively new promenade which is brilliant for walking, cycling, great for kids on bikes & scooters etc. You can walk to Blackpool in about 2 hrs and also to Fleetwood same distance with excellent promenades to both destinations, both excellent walks and trams available to bring you back to Cleveleys. Cleveleys itself is a busy town with plenty of eating places, pubs & bars, cheap & mid range with tourist shops, M&S express etc this is not a stylish place with great nightlife and high end bars etc but it is a great old style seaside town, great for young kids who want sand, sea, plenty of open spaces for games and chips!. There are plenty of cheap places to eat, plenty of takeaways, try Bean's Bakery for pies, cakes etc brilliant old fashioned tasty foods!. Overall, Cleveleys is a great place for a day trip or holidays for young families not wanting the noise & cost of Blackpool, its close enough to visit if you want. Love it!!!

Couldn’t park anywhere for longer than an hour, wanted to spend several hours here with large family, signs up everywhere for 60min stay only, car parks full, drove up to St Anne’s instead. I will never understand the logic behind parking rules and regs, my only possible conclusion is that the revenue from parking fines is what’s behind the regulations. I don’t think this helps the store owners tho.

Visited here 3 times since last December as a Family. Lovely Beach which is dog friendly all year round and goes for miles into Blackpool. Lots of charity shops and lovely eateries. Fab amusement arcade called Treasure Island where you can earn tickets for prizes of which some are great! Irene's Cafe is lovely for as much as you can Breakfast Buffet with your own toaster on your table. Avoid KFC thats awful. Habeebs is great for an Indian takeaway. Mr Fishy is great for fish and chips by delivery. You can catch the Tram from end of the town all the way to the end of Blackpool one way or Fleetwood Ferry the other. You can get a 24 hour ticket for £6.20 which allows you to jump on and off along the route. The seafront is amazing, been refurbished and is great for walking along. The Sea does come fairly close in and there are some great rock pools for seeing Starfish and other sea creatures. Simples if you haven't tried this lovely little town then we can highly recommend you do so you will not be disapointed. Accomodation wise we suggest the Beach House on the Promenade which is absolutely stunning accomodation in 3 different apartments. Its only a ten minute walk along the front into town.

We were regulars until Covid , we were delighted with the food, staff and venue service a little slow but it was well worth the wait. It was “bike night” and the atmosphere was great . Defo going back 😊

Don't bother coming to this Cafe. The service was poor and food was poor. We visited the Cafe after a walk on the beach but was met with dirty tables that had not been cleaned, staff stood around talking in little groups. I had to ask for the table to be cleared and cleaned. Ordered a small breakfast and a double egg on brown toast. + 3 sausages for our dogs. Sausages was overcooked, like they were underneath a lamp to keep them warm, toast was toasted too much it crumbled away and was a bit burnt. The eggs was also like being left under a lamp due to staff not paying attention. when aske to order ice cream we were met with a sour face from more than 3 staff who was just standing around taking. Staff were young and didn't seem like they wanted to work there. It's a shame for the cafe because it's in a very good place but we will definitely not go back.

Whilst this is "just" a Joseph Holt pub its an especially nice one. Inside it is well presented. Outside it has some "beach huts" with TVs built in. The food is very well made and tasty. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. We ordered some kids meals and when it arrived my youngest daughter suddenly decided she didn't want the mash that she ordered and wanted chips. The waitress said she would bring chips at no extra charge! There was other examples too like offering to take a family picture of us on my phone when they saw us taking a selfie. I would definitely recommend this place to families looking for a pub meal.
