The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Macclesfield Central Cheshire East North West

Was walking past as usual to nip into the Nat West on Great Underbank done that for over 5 yrs never knew until today it was a little cafe / public bakery selling to the public. Never wanted to intrude or go in as to disturb the staff as saw that some they were learning difficulties and obviously doing an amazing job teaching the guys how to bake, so always had a nosy in but never visited until today. Popped in as inquisitive as usual and ended up purchasing 2 vegan sausage rolls and loaf of brown bread which when I tucked into later were the best ever. Incredible place my go to from now on

This is a lovely light and relaxing place to meet friends for coffee and snacks. There is always someone to talk to or if you want to be quiet they will leave you alone!! Great cappuccino and you also get a little glass of smarties with every order. It is a gift and book shop too.

Great tapas style Sunday roast in the cosiest of pubs. They adapt the menu weekly and serve great veg. Lots of board games to play. Really great food for vegans and celiacs. Can’t make reservations but has always been ok turning up in a small group

My partner and I visited Friday night, and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The staff checked in on us throughout the evening to make sure we were happy, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the name of our main server, but everyone working that evening was absolutely lovely and professional. To celebrate me passing my driving test (only 30 years late!), they surprised me with a delicious brownie, complete with “Congratulations” written in chocolate sauce — such a thoughtful touch! As for the food, I genuinely don’t think I’ve had anything that good in ages. Highly recommend this place. And to the waiter we chatted with at the end: best of luck with your driving test on June 26th — you’ve got this! Trust your judgement and be confident.

Just had an amazing bacon and egg sandwich, cooked perfectly and tastes amazing, excellent coffee too, well done 👍🏼

Great place for a laid-back and delicious lunch!

I recently visited this cafe to see if they made birthday cakes. They told me they didnt but could make a large round chocolate and guinness cake which they normally sell as a traybake in the cafe. So I decided to go for that and was I pleased that I did. The result was gorgeous, they did a fantastic job for me, and I cannot thank them enough. It made my husbands 70th birthday very special, and what a lovely couple they are.

The button warehouse is stunning. It has an incredible atmosphere. With a cosy bar off in a side room leaving the L shaped venue to feel light, bright and easy to talk in. There is the most beautiful live music on a Sunday which was beautiful. Great for a private hire, day time drinking / food and evening activities.

Don't know what's gone wrong with this place, but was served the worst pint of Wainwright ever!! Used to be buzzing, but obviously if the beer isn't good, it's not hard to see why!

We brought some cheese and onion pies to take home, so so tasty, very generous filling; really fabulous quality. We heated them up for 20 mins in the oven. Lovely! Highly recommend; we are going to order some more as they are very good indeed. The Bakewell tart was also good (huge- shared it !) heated up with ready made custard in the microwave -

This is my favourite bakery in the UK and such a gem for Macclesfield! Their pastries are the best I’ve had and each one tastes incredible. Staff are always so friendly and the coffee is also delicious. Myself and my partner regularly go on a weekend for our breakfast and we are never disappointed, it is simply perfect there!

Welcoming staff, Amazing food (especially the poached eggs!!!) Peaceful atmosphere and my husband enjoyed the 80s music which was playing in the background.

This was a great little Pub we happened upon during our visit to Macclesfield. Stopped in for a few drinks before continuing our walk about. Even returned again after our walk. Very local atmosphere. Good pints and ciders. It was a Sunday but unfortunately no food available. Locals very welcoming.

Went for afternoon tea very over priced you got half a glass of proseco and the sandwiches were awful bread too thick and the fillings were not to my taste. Cakes not enough choice too much chocolate . I would not rush back to use this venue again.

Such a shame. Serves great snack food and good beers but never have enough staff on or indeed a manager who is professional and all over the very, very simple things to get right. Huge queues at the bar virtually all afternoon. Staff not clearing dirty glasses and plates. All just stacked up on the bar with no one even bothered about presentation or cleanliness. Cleaning sprays and cloths left on the bar for hours. Fairly disgusting to be honest. Could be so much better. Hopefully the owners read this and get a grip.
