Really friendly guy and some good coffee and little breakfast! Nice location just outside the city center. And a good reason to cross one of the beautiful bridges.

Went today and got a lovely sausage sandwich and a cappuccino, staff were lovely and friendly plus food was delicious

We visited here regularly whilst on our family holiday. Spacious, modern and extremely attentive staff making dining with a young family stress free. The menu is quite extensive offering a wide range of meals, snacks pizzas etc. Shame there wasn't a few more 'pub classics'on the menu, such as a steak, mixed grill etc, however there was a gammon on t the specials board for one night, it was that popular it sold out instantly. Kids menu is good offering sandwiches and warm food such as goujons, pasta etc. As far as eating out goes in the area, the price is about on average. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

No Sunday dinner, and after ordering from the main menu which let's be fair is mainly bough in, took an age to arrive. that coupled with twi groups on the same table ordering together. one set came out and we had finished before the other set of food cake out. tables left uncleared for an age customer service was poor. we are locals and we loblve a few drinks here but the food and service are terrible

I love coming here. Always made to feel so welcome. I've decided they have the most delicious selection of cakes in all the North East! Not open all week is probably a good thing for the waistline as I'd happily visit daily!!!!!!

Excellent venue for a family funeral reception, for a dear Auntie who had sadly passed on. This was her daily meeting venue where she always met for coffee & cakes with her lady friends group. Outstanding catering facility for our 30-40 pax, professionally hosted by proprietors Michael & Vicki, demonstrating empathy and compassion. A must visit venue for your refreshments, cakes & snacks, complimented by an outside courtyard at the rear and gifts & clothes boutique inside. I have no issues with this Bakery the staff are super friendly and food is as expected. What I am about to say is my own fault for not having my reading glasses on. I am leaving this review as a warning to others as I don’t think the small print of a sandwich should be responsible for the main ingredients of a label of which it sells as let me explain . Lots of ingredients people are intolerant to are in the fine print. So they read labels to ensure safety . I am not one of those people , I just hate mayonnaise the texture makes me feel sick. So if a sandwich is made and as an example it’s a salad & ham or salad and cheese . If the maker added mayo as they have the cheese and salad why is it not in the big print salad cheese & mayo . I would avoid it like the plague. I don’t think a big blob of mayo added should go in with the e number fine print when it’s a preference of texture not intolerance ! I have vomited my guts out I will never buy a sandwich again from a take away ! I mean if you can fit Freshly baked white bread you can make the mayonnaise bigger as you added it manually!!

Mi hija me compró una cata de cerveza Groupon para el día del padre. Ella estaba de visita desde Nottingham y decidimos ir juntos. El bar está integrado en los arcos ferroviarios detrás de la Estación Central y tiene dos pisos. Tomamos un trago rápido antes y encontramos al personal extremadamente útil para hacer nuestra elección inicial de cervezas artesanales. Fuimos arriba para la degustación y éramos 6 y un tutor muy amable y experto. La sesión fue muy informal y la discusión fue mucho más allá de las cervezas que probamos, lo que resultó ser un momento muy agradable. Las cervezas eran todas muy diferentes y nunca volveré a devolver una cerveza artesanal nublada; estaban deliciosas, pero la revelación fue la cerveza ácida de la que nunca había oído hablar. Tuvimos un tiempo entretenido y lo seguimos en Bridge Tavern, donde nuestro tutor era el cervecero, probamos otra de sus recomendaciones y vimos que también se estaba preparando en los "tuns", un buen final para una agradable velada.

Lovely standardised breakfast options and creative plates of the day. The sandwiches, cakes and other fayre on display speak volumes for the quality and creativity. Dog friendly too…. I visited at end of holiday and wished I’d found sooner. Cafe is on the main road out of Berwick towards A1 south next to Go Outdoors. It’s the sort of place I’d gladly take a wee drive to visit for a wee bite to eat as a treat if I lived in the area.

Gave up waiting for a table at the biscuit factory so thought we’d try here. Had a club sandwich and carrot cake. Top notch food and quick service. Highly recommended
