Has to be the BBB.... That is the Best Bacon Bun in Hartlepool ...... Well the north east for me.... I have been here a few times now, and everytime for a bacon bun and a coffee. Excellent value at £3 , and each time the bacon bun is, in my opinion , perfect.. The quality and size of the bun, way the bacon is cooked, flavour ... Very friendly staff, clean, well presented, relaxing cafe...

I went to funeral tea here. It was the best food I've had at a funeral tea. The sandwiches were well-filled and tasty, the quiche was fresh out of the oven and melt in the mouth, the cakes were divine and had just the right amount of fresh cream. The food was regularly topped up. It's an excellent venue with great food and thoughtful staff.

33 is now under new management and hasn't suffered at all. The menu is similar but presentation is much better and the food is fresh and quality. I will visit again as i work nearby, its worth a try should you find time you won't regret it.

Visited today and chose the special....grilled rump steak, served with chunky homemade chips, mushrooms, tomato and fried onions for £5.95!!! Absolutely delicious, I asked for the steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection 😀 I washed it down with a vanilla latte, again could not fault, nice and hot! We decided on banoffee waffles for desert....yum! Great value for money, brilliant staff and service. Will definitely be visiting again! Oh also quirky vintage style decor which must of took a lot of time...well done! Well worth a visit 😍

We visited No.33 last week whilst we were in Hartlepool. We always visit this place when we are in the town as the staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. We had the Breakfast last week and we couldn't fault it. I asked the staff who supplied the black pudding as it was so good and the manageress came back with slices of black pudding wrapped up to bring back to Belfast ! She wouldn't take any payment for it. It is the best little café in the town and on our next visit to Hartlepool we will certainly be going again. Thank you No.33 !

popped into no 33 café for a cappuccino and toasted teacake but had a full English breakfast with toast for under £4. very nice and the café has an ambiance to be proud of. The walls are decked with posters of actors and singers from the 30,s 40's and 50's. the staff are very pleasant and the setting tranquil.

My coffee was lovely as was the date scone. The kids enjoyed their passion cake. Interior done out with old movie magazines but managed to seem cold not cosy. Did not want to linger as all I could smell was damp. Not coming back, sorry.

My friend treated me to afternoon tea here to cheer me up. It was beautiful, served with china cups and saucers and proper tea pots. We had sandwiches and scones and cakes. Served with fresh cream and strawberry jam. Delicious. The staff are really, really friendly and you can browse through some local hand made crafts. I have also visited a couple of craft fairs here and these are fun with great refreshments available. In a nutshell the food here is fantastic, the surroundings are the best and the place is nip clean, which is always a plus. This is our regular café and deservedly so. Treat yourself to great food at great prices.

Visited this cafe last Saturday, the food was excellent all home baked, very friendly atmosphere. A lot of thought has gone into the decor creating just the right ambiance. Rhubarb scones were particularly good

This is a small beautifully run café in Hartlepool. All the cooking and baking is home made and absolutely delicious. The scones are divine and Lisa, the owner, is always trying out new recipes and experimenting with flavours. I have not once been disappointed. Prices are very reasonable and the whole place is immaculately clean. The breakfasts are superb, and people keep coming back so something is right! It is always full with regular people and it is a home from home, but new visitors are always welcome. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend this café. In one word - "yum".As an added extra, there is a small display with locally made crafts.

We visited this café to try their breakfasts for a change... It was really busy ,which is good for the owners, however the only table available was right by the door....the seating is a little cramped and could be better arranged. We had to wait a bit for the food, as only one girl in at that time, but it was nice when it arrived. Very clean and friendly

Menu was very tempting but as I was catching a train for work I opted for the Small Breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. Food was well cooked and well presented. Definitely going here again. Looking forward to having a try at the Station Master breakfast when I don’t have to go to work!

Loved it here, 1st time we've been and we just had drinks. The bar staff were really friendly explaining about the different beers as I do like a good beer.. Excellent beer suggestion from the bar person. The rum cocktail was made with 4 different kinds of Old J rum and was amazing, Espresso martini was rather delicious also. Really enjoyed the chilled atmosphere and cool music. I definitely recommend this place.
