Cafe Nero in Newcastle upon Tyne

He estado en docenas de cafés neros por todo el país y me lo quitan este es el peor, nunca he conocido personal como ignorante, simplemente no quieren estar allí hay actitud, que horrible grupo de gente miserable que son, nunca volveré allí! Ps. una sonrisa y gracias va muy lejos!

Fue servido por dos encantadoras damas llamadas holly y kate. Estaba teniendo un día horrible y me lo alegraron y pusieron una sonrisa en la cara. La zona estaba limpia y el servicio era impecable. ¡No puedo pedir mejores baristas!

Usual lovely Cafe Nero with friendly and attentive service. Cafe extends beyond the counter and goes back with range of seating available. However the toilet is also back there, with only the toilet door dividing that space from the seating area - it became apparent during our visit that not everyone accessing the toilet washed their hands (lack of hand dryer sounds) and also that leaving the toilet door open is the norm! It really was impossible to not observe human behaviour. Any chance of extending the wall that is there and making the toilet a little less noticeable?

Very popular coffee shop given its location near the bus stops and the Civic Centre, excellent if you need somewhere quiet to duck into to take a break from the everyday. Also handy for impromptu meetings and working on the go.

Seating is well spaced out = less seats = good. Coffee was excellent once we got a seat. It seemed to be popular with students who had long since finished consuming (their own sandwiches).

Visito este Nero al menos 3 veces por semana y no puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Las bebidas siempre son excelentes y el personal es profesional y educado.

Cafe Nero es normalmente una apuesta segura para un café y una merienda, no es así aquí. El interior está cansado y necesita una renovación, pero más que eso, uno de los baristas de guardia era hosco y pasivo, agresivo. Obtuve algo de la actitud al hacer el pedido y cuando nos sentamos frente al bar, otros clientes también lo hicieron.

카페네로가 지점이 여러군데 있지만 Haymarket 에 위치한 이 카페네로는 창밖으로 보이는 전망이 너무 좋다. 뉴캐슬의 분위기를 그대로 전해준다. Flat white 한잔 하며 창밖만 봐도 너무좋은 카페 네로.

Went here for lunch with a friend. The sandwich I got was delicious and warm. The coffee was also very nice!!! We sat at the back as we needed plugs for our computers. The seats were quite comfy :)

I visit this place regularly and the staff are always friendly. The coffee and food is always excellent and there is a good choice. Newspapers always available.

This is the best of the chain in Newcastle. The cafe is pleasant, papers are always available and the staff are always cheery and welcoming. It's not too big but it's comfortable with a back area with easy chairs. The usual choice of Cafe Nerro food is available. An enjoyable place for quiet coffee and reading.

Great coffeehouse, nothing much to say other than this might be one of the best in its franchise. Yes, the selection of coffee in the same as in other Cafe Nero but the place looks great with plants. Well done.

Come here at least three times a week and it's always a reliable and friendly place to be. Staff faultlessly polite and welcoming.

Popped in to cafe Nero with my husband, 5 month old son and father in law for a cuppa on a cold spring day. The coffee and hot chocolate are always spot on (as is the tea) whenever we pop in, the staff are friendly, helpful and smiley 😊 and it is so family friendly! Love this place and will continue to visit!

This is a relatively new Caffe Nero as it used to be the old post office in the city. I remember it from that time although it seems a lot bigger as a coffee shop. The mix of history and modern however is really nice though as both the outside and inside stil have little lingering details that remind you what this place used to be. Of course instead of having to send heavy parcels and sign multiple forms, I now get to enjoy a coffee or one of the many cakes and pastries on offer. Friendly staff and a nice layout of tables with plenty nooks and crannies from the post office days no doubt - great for book chats or for reading in a quiet spot! This place has got real character! The only thing which has stayed the same is the fact that I still get stamps from here but these ones get me a free coffee if I collect enough!

It was a remarkable morning of drinking a nice coffee at Cafe Nero store. My uncle that came from Nigeria really enjoy the outing on the early morning of Wednesday. Despite the fact that I have variety of coffees at home, I enjoy my time of relaxation at Cafe Nero. Clean Cafe and Happy staff .

We did not like the look of any of the other Caffe Nero establishments but found this one in a side street. Small, intimate, discreet lighting. The staff were extremely smiley, helpful and professional. The coffee and tea were exceptionally good and the muffins (both lemon and blueberry) were excellent; fresh and appetising. Clean and welcoming throughout.

Je kan hier rustig bijkomen met een kopje koffie of thee, ook de snacks zijn goed. Het is allemaal goed verzorgd en klasse

Went into cafe Nero for the second time it's a good cafe good coffee well displayed food layout of store very clean toilets a good standard staff pleasent,will visit again,one thing I forgot to mention it's not cheap but it's worth it for that bit comfort background music just right.

Go every Saturday for coffee. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Coffee is excellant. Ask for loyalty card, save for free coffee.

Preparan un excelente chocolate caliente y un magnífico café. El lugar es bastante agradable para pasar un buen rato por la tarde mientras descansas un poco. Además tienen una tarjeta para regalar un café por cada diez que tomas.

my partner and I call early Saturday morning for a coffee. staff always friendly,polite and good knowledge of drinks. service quick. good choice of coffees/ pastries ect. nice surroundings.

Visited again today - this time with my boyfriend's mother. The barista was very friendly and sociable as he made our drinks. Drinks were excellent and exactly as we requested - decaf latte, cappuccino with cinnamon. May sound a standard thing, but so many places have gotten it wrong!

Love this spot! The staff are always v pleasant and quick to help. I like the goodbye and thank you when you leave. Very polite!

As usual good cup of coffee although they still don't seem to have caught onto flat whites . Staff friendly and efficient even on quite busy Saturday lunchtime.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Great location just off Northumberland street and in Eldon Square. Pretty big so easy to get a seat
