Sprinkles in Northumberland

We visited in the evening on a Friday and after a short wait, were pleasantly served with large portions of haddock and chips with mushy peas. Th food was great. Thoroughly recommend but be prepar d for a short wait at peak times to get a table. Takeaways also available.

This is a place to enjoy excellent fish and chips. Get the bus which stops directly outside, walk or drive. Parking available. The fish and chips are very tasty and good sized portions. It’s always busy and once you have visited you will want to return. Good prices.

Very good ice cream and lovely location to enjoy it! Cycled to the coast so would be rude not to treat myself to an ice cream :)

Superb fish and chips, lovely crispy brown batter, none of your insipid half cooked offerings here, huge portion of milky whit free cod, has to be snapped in two to fit in the box! Served by an absolute gem too, lady with tied back blonde hair, very cheery and helpful, customer service as it should be and worth her weight in gold! Much cheaper and better quality than the one up in blyth.

Thought we would try it here and went for a takeaway. Everything was being freshly made, and everyone in the queue seemed to be a regular customer. The queue soon went down, we were served and away. The fish was very good, the batter was ok too, chips were chunky, just as I like them. I cant complain. Even the price was acceptable. As a takeaway its as good as any I have visited.

This place is a must if you appreciate fish and chips as much as I do, but beware, they are massive fish! The haddock stretches each side of a standard dinner plate, and I believe it's cooked in proper fat.

Really good ice cream and extremely reasonably priced (unlike the ice cream shop at Blyth 2 mins down the road!) Priced at £2.50 for a medium sized tub, and you can mix/match icecream, good customer service and even get as many toppings as you want; something the one at Blyth doesn't bother to offer! Not a huge selection of flavours but it's ample enough. The Blyth ice cream shop is about £5 a tub almost, so this is around half price, tastes better in my opinion, and you get the optional extra of having toppings - will definitely return!

We had very nice ice cream from there and it was a good value for the money too. So will recommend it.

There is so many flavours to choose from and topping.I had a cup with raspberry ripple and strawberry ice cream topped with marshmallows which was delicious and all for £2.50 The service was excellent and the place is immaculate small but very well run

We have never in all our lives seen a cod as enormous as sold at this fish & chip shop absolutely gorgeous the chips very good as well. Margaret

This has been our favourite Fish n Chippy for years...Lak and his team are streets ahead of anyone else when it comes to quality,portions,taste etc....amazing place...We recommend the Cod Bites, unless your seriously hungry the the Fish are Whales! Keep it up fellows

Visiting friends last weekend and since the weather was lovely we went to the beach. I wasn't too hungry so I just had a fish and OMG WOW it was huge and beautifully cooked. The best fish I have ever had!!

Went here today just to get our 5 year old and toddler an ice cream but couldn't resist one for ourselves so mammy and daddy got one too. So pleased we did... Ferraro rocher ice cream in a grown up cone was gorgeous, 5 year old loved his blue ice cream and £8 for 4 wasn't too badly priced as it's generally that for basic ones off normal ice cream men. Will be back.

Lovely hot day today ........ So I popped in to sprinkles today as I had driven past it loads Home made ice-cream that tastes great with free toppings and sauces . I got a big tub for £2.50 which was great. I would definitely would go back again as the service was very friends and fast Great job team keep up the good work

We had just visited a local pub for some food and decided to have a walk about to work of the lovely lunch we devoured. On the way back to the car we decided to treat ourselves to an Ice cream, with a good selection i did not expect the portion sizes the flavours and the value for money, its just a little parlour but clean and tidy. It was a pleasant end to a nice afternoon, well worth a visit.

What a fantastic place? Really felt like a seaside treat. Great flavours of ice cream, cookies and cream was delicious. My husband went for the Ferrero Rocher flavour - it was as good as it sounds. If you're at Seaton Sluice, you should go there, treat yourself and then have a walk around the little harbour - the North East coast at its best

Had relations visiting from Cambridge.They wanted to experience proper fish and chips ,so as I frequent this restaurant regularly I thought I would give them a treat .They were not disappointed ,the meal was excellent ,the service could not have been better,friendly atmosphere,and the portions were excellent value. I may also add Hygiene rating 5.

I go with my wife, and we have the Pensioners Special, fish and chips,mushy peas, tea bread and butter. Excellent value, ps have seen the large size portion, unbelievable, be very hungry if you choose it.

We stopped here for a birthday treat - we had a lovely walk on the beach with our dog and then decided on icecream - the flavours are great and the portions big, not to mention the free sprinkles. Great value for money and picnic benches outside if the weather is good enough. Really friendly staff so hope you decide to support this local icecream shop!

The town is a dump but the ice creams here were good. Try the crispy toppings with your choice. Not cheap but but also not too expensive.

This ice cream palour has so many flavours of ice cream and sprinkles it is almost impossible to choose. However I decided after much deliberation to have the cookies and cream flavour with sprinkles of toffee The ice cream is one the nicest I've ever tasted and the portions are huge!I'd definitely recommend a visit for any ice cream fans you won't be disappointed.

I had taken my little brother out for a walk along the coast and promised him an ice cream after. We came across Sprinkles by chance and walked across to find that it was closing at 5pm - we arrived at 16:59. Despite this, the young lad that was working that day, on his own, was still happy to serve us and another couple that arrived. We were so grateful and throughly enjoyed our ice creams! I recommend the bubblegum flavour, it was gorgeous.

Called in this week on spec on a sunny mid afternoon and I was not disappointed. I opted for the Cookies n Cream in a sugar cone and it was delicious. The shop itself is small however adds to it's charm and the girl serving was friendly and polite. It also took me 10 mintues to eat it which when eating ice cream is not a bad thing!!! If you love ice cream give it a whirl!!
