Lovely wee cafe, beautiful home baking, and very good coffees. The staff was very nice and friendly. Enjoyed our first visit there.

Great local coffee shop whilst walking the coast path. We didn’t have but meals looked great value.

Ok place but as soon as my partner picks up his latte from the cup carrier he scalded himself as the barista hadnt put our lids on properly and the coffee itself want up to much.

Amazing experience . We had the all day breakfast very filling and tasty. We took two portions of the homemade lemon meringue pie home with us that was absolutely delicious will be back next week.

Spotted this on Google Maps on a trip down the A1. Took a small detour and it looks lovely, but never got a chance to try it. It's cash only! Yes cash only in 2023!

We sat in the lovely patio area - an enclosed and sheltered spot with stone walls and paving slabs. Staff came out to us almost straight away and were really helpful and friendly. We opted for tea (a huge pot and very good) and pretty delicious cheesecake. They were quick to bring water for our hound, too, and to make a fuss of her. A really nice cafe, definitely recommended.

Quiet village pub in Belford. We went Saturday lunch time and never booked. Very reasonably priced as well.

Went into the lovely village of Belford today and went into the well house coffee shop. Me & my wife ordered breakfast which was absolutely delicious best black pudding I have ever tasted. Lovely little cafe all meals are home cooked, Great welcoming staff would definitely recommend to anybody wanting a tasty meal. They accept cash only however there is a Co op around the corner which has a cash point machine.

Called in Saturday for a takeaway coffee and got a couple of Scones. Quite possibly the best cheese, bacon and leek scones we've ever had. Friendly and helpful staff as well

Very friendly local café with a daily specials menu and a static menu as well. The lady who served us was accommodating and it was overall a nice experience.

Brilliant little Gem in Belford! Great down to earth grub and cakes with no fanciness but all the flavour! Worth the visit and reasonable prices. Note: Only except cash, but don't worry there is a cash machine round the corner at Co-Op.

Came across this little cafe after visiting the cave today. We had a lovely club sandwich and soup, both delicious. We sat outside in a sun trap patio with our dog. Very friendly staff, quick service and worth every penny!

Nice little coffee shop very popular when we visited with a couple of tables free. We enjoyed our paninis and cold drinks. We took away a cake and shared it as they are super sized and may I say very delicious.

Was staying at Bellford Junction on holiday. We visited this place twice and really enjoyed it. An afternoon snack of tea and scones. Delicious. A morning fried breakfast. Tremendous. Staff really helpful and friendly. Recommended.

Really enjoyed our visit to this lovely friendly village cafe, obviously a favourite with the locals, it won my "best of the week in Northumberland" prize. Great service tasty food - the sausage with mango chutney pannini was really yummy as was the caramel apple crumble and cream. Simple good home made food you want to eat ! Prices are reasonable too.

I have stopped here a few times and on each occasion greeted with a friendly smile excellent service a great cup of tea and usually cake or a proper cheesy cheese scone. I had a great breakfast this morning before heading off on a long journey. I also ordered sandwiches to take with me rather than pay motorway service prices for way less quality. Super food and amazing value. Lovely staff and a dog friendly outside space.

Great find in a quaint village. Superb choice of cakes, sandwiches, baked potatoes, quiche and specials. Great service and nice prices. Cash only and cash machine near the co-op in the village. Well worth going.

Tip top tea stop. Outstanding millionaire’s shortbread; buttery base, gooey caramel, thick chocolate. Just how it should be (but so rarely is). Generous sized tea pot too :)

Nice little Cafe on the main road in Belford. Friendly staff and a nice selection of cakes. Also a selection of vegan cakes and non-dairy alternatives. The Outsider seating area is very nice.

Cute little cafe in belford. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. We tried panini, sandwiches and burgers. Interior is lovely and cute. Food is fresh and tasty. We had a lunch here while our stay at belfford. Do try this cafe if you are around, belford is a quint beautiful town.

Visiting Belford late morning while on our holiday we were ready for a cup of tea and cake. Food lovely, service excellent, nice surroundings. Thinking of calling for lunch before we head home tomorrow. Only fault, the door banging and the chimes everytime someone came in and out! 🙂

We had a lovely visit to this coffee shop. The cake was amazing! There was so many choices, I eneded up getting the coffee cake. We didn't like the coffee however so I didn't drink it.

A great coffee /cake/ lunch stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. We called in on a Saturday afternoon for tea and cake. Cakes freshly baked and tasty. Wanted a sandwich for 9.30 on Sunday morning. Took order and had food ready for us even though they did not open till 10! Would recommend and would return.

Staying locally for a few days - popped in for a coffee and was lured by the range of cakes on offer - I had lemon meringue, my wife had the Mars bar cheesecake - both hit the mark ! Coffee and tea were great also. Highly recommend.

Excellently run small independant cafe with very good choice of home baked food teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Definitely recommend a visit for good food and friendly service.

A really wonderful gem of a place. Fabulous food, all home cooked, generous portions, good range of choices (not too many, not too few). There is a small step to get into the cafe, but other than that it is all on one level, including the toilet. I could get round easily on my walking stick. There is a patio at the back, again with a small step down. The cafe had suitable furniture for its character as an old well house, with terracotta floor and wheelback chairs, gingham table cloths covered with clear plastic sheets. It all felt very safe and immaculately clean. Would highly recommend and definitely return next time we are in the area.

Popped in on our way back from cycling to Holy Island. Saw the most beautiful Lemon meringue pie on the counter. Just had to have a slice…… absolutely, utterly scrumptious….. You will not be disappointed. Friendly service and good coffee too…

My coffee was pretty poor. Milk boiled within an inch of its life, still too hot even after I asked for cold milk to be put in. Cakes looked awesome however. Maybe need training on how to make a decent coffee. Won't be back

The staff are super-friendly and the food is top quality and remarkably inexpensive. People pay twice as much elsewhere. Enough said that the locals are regulars!

First time back since covid. Had a large breakfast which was very nice and my wife had a ham salad was very good.

The German Apple Cake is wonderful with nuts Apple sultanas and flavour of cinnamon served warm with cream washed down with a pot of tea. Bliss

Tasty corned beef and potato pie, absolutely gorgeous lime and lemon cheesecake, with really friendly service made for a great lunch in the patio garden.

While on holiday we found this gem and visited 3 times. Food and service was fantastic, especially the breakfast (and cakes)! Highly recommend this place.

What a delightful experience on our NCP walking trip. The warmest of welcomes, the staff are truly delightful. The food was delicious, I had the cheese and leak tart followed by the best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted. A gem of a cafe.

My dad, husband and I (plus our dog) were on holiday in a neighbouring village and popped to the coffee shop three times during our stay. One visit was just for drinks, the other two for food. All of us agreed how good the food was and what a warm, welcoming and friendly service we received each time. We sat outside in a pleasant little courtyard where there are three or four smaller tables and one large one. We were served quickly and the teas, coffees and food we had were delicious (special mention to the cheese savoury jacket potatoes - so tasty - and the very naughty Cream Egg cheesecake - to die for!). The cafe was very clean and tidy, the staff friendly and cheerful and our dog was made to feel very welcome too. Food portions were spot on and very reasonably priced. We went out of our way to have our final lunch of the holiday at Well House as we liked it so much!
