The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North East

Been here for breakfast a few times now, always I warm welcome and great food at a great price. In terms of overall experience, quality and value for money this is defiantly one on the best breakfasts in the area. Opens bright and early too. If you plan ahead you can even get your car valeted whilst you’re there. It won’t be long before we visit again.

I had the home made lasagne and it was beautiful, all prepared from scratch and it tasted divine. My Sister had the corned beef pie and it was delicious, great portions for a great price.

Just popped in for a cuppa and an afternoon scone. Delicious and the staff were so friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere inside South Shields Museum

Attended a party here last night, Terrible service and drinks. The staff were miserable definitely no service with smiles in this place. I do agree with the last review, the staff need customer service training. Gin with a warm bottle of cheap lemonade for my first drink, Then I got a glass of Warm Prosecco (which I was advised by the staff that the party guests were drinking far to quick so can’t chill quick enough)🥴 Then I received a flat dreg from a different kind of Prosecco bottle which I had to send back. Then I noticed each round of the same drinks I was being charged different prices. When questioned I was told I should be lucky that I have been undercharged the previous time🥴 Good job this place is at the bottom end of the town so it was a 1 off visit, I’ll not have to visit again.

Our go to breakfast place, great food friendly staff. Have been going for the last 3 years when on our holidays, see you next year ladies

Lovely bakery with incredible baked goods, definitely worth a visit. The breads are beautiful & so are the various cakes.

Excellent venue for a family funeral reception, for a dear Auntie who had sadly passed on. This was her daily meeting venue where she always met for coffee & cakes with her lady friends group. Outstanding catering facility for our 30-40 pax, professionally hosted by proprietors Michael & Vicki, demonstrating empathy and compassion. A must visit venue for your refreshments, cakes & snacks, complimented by an outside courtyard at the rear and gifts & clothes boutique inside. I love coming here. Always made to feel so welcome. I've decided they have the most delicious selection of cakes in all the North East! Not open all week is probably a good thing for the waistline as I'd happily visit daily!!!!!!

Mi hija me compró una cata de cerveza Groupon para el día del padre. Ella estaba de visita desde Nottingham y decidimos ir juntos. El bar está integrado en los arcos ferroviarios detrás de la Estación Central y tiene dos pisos. Tomamos un trago rápido antes y encontramos al personal extremadamente útil para hacer nuestra elección inicial de cervezas artesanales. Fuimos arriba para la degustación y éramos 6 y un tutor muy amable y experto. La sesión fue muy informal y la discusión fue mucho más allá de las cervezas que probamos, lo que resultó ser un momento muy agradable. Las cervezas eran todas muy diferentes y nunca volveré a devolver una cerveza artesanal nublada; estaban deliciosas, pero la revelación fue la cerveza ácida de la que nunca había oído hablar. Tuvimos un tiempo entretenido y lo seguimos en Bridge Tavern, donde nuestro tutor era el cervecero, probamos otra de sus recomendaciones y vimos que también se estaba preparando en los "tuns", un buen final para una agradable velada.
