Visited Daisy-Maes for Afternoon tea and has a superb experience. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The afternoon tea was freshly prepared with the scones straight out of the oven .Sandwiches included ham and mustard ,egg mayonnaise and smoked salmon. The apple and elderflower sponge went down a treat ,Tea is served in a china tea pot and is loose leaf. Coffee comes in a cafeteriere, The cafe is spotless as are the toilets. All in all a successful outing

I had the full breakfast, my wife scrambled eggs on toast and we both had flat white coffees, all of which was delicious. The staff were lovely and the prices reasonable. Great view overlooking the Boating Lake

Afternoon tea was scrumptious excellent value for money. Staff were very welcoming and friendly making sure we had everything we wanted. Very homely with assorted seating options in the old Coatham hotel building.

We walked in and there were only 2 people sat at one table and another 2 people sat at another table. There were about 5 other tables seating 2 customers and 2 tables with 4 chairs. Both tables of 4 where near the door and we didn't want sit near the door so we went to a table with 2 seats and went to move the 2 seater table nearby close to our table as there was 3 of us. Well you think we had broken the law - the manager came over aggressively and said very loudly 'Can u put that table back there's plenty of other tables of 4' no please or thank you so we left. As we were leaving my husband as her nicely what the problem was and she just started at him. How rude she was and she needs to rethink her attitude to paying customers and we will never set foot in there again!!!! Manners don't cost anything and some of us are brought up with them and clearly some people are not.

Odd socks is one of my favourite places to go for coffee, and my daughters love it too. The staff are so welcoming and friendly; my youngest loves their hot chocolates, and they always make sure it isn't too hot and it has plenty of marshmallows! The food has been great whenever we have visited. The "imagination corner" is lovely and enough to keep little ones busy without it being over-bearing to those without children. I've done laundry once and it was really straightforward and the staff were very helpful. Overall I'd 100% recommend this place.

Enjoyed our small breakfast and latte coffee here today whilst on holiday. Friendly, attentive and polite staff, definitely better than last week at Moorlands, Owler Bar before we came away as food did not repeat so to speak.
