This establishment ticks the box as Redcars late night underbelly den of indifference. It's the kind of place where the employed stand out, in a pond of flotsam and tattooed jetsam. If you desire reassurance that your life really hasn't gone that badly I recommend you take a drink here and breathe in a living Channel 5 documentary.

Super welcoming polite and dog friendly is awesome. Definitely has more of an evening bar vibe - thats not bad, just different, rather than cosey pub, but the staff made up for it. I came during the day, the lovely staff was approachable and friendly. A water bowl provided for the lil' man, and just a really pleasant experience. No idea what an evening is like as it will be totally different, but for a casual afternoon break, I'd highly recommend. Thank you. 😊

Nice quiet pint during the day, best pub in Redcar for a late evening night out! Blue Lounge does both. Drinks are on the cheaper side for Redcar with plenty of offers on daily. Staff are always nice, helpful and efficient(specifically Matty & Tom!) The manager is great. Never had an issue in there.

Visited with a few friends for birthday drinks. As we walked in we were greeted by a host of friendly staff ready to take our orders. The drinks arrived very very quick. Cocktails were fantastic especially the bubblegum cocktail which was a personal favourite amongst us. The atmosphere was just what we wanted not too loud but not quite enough that would send you out the door. As the night moved on the vibe of the place changes and the in-house dj really sets the place apart from the rest. Overall a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be coming back. Also would like to give a shout-out to Tom behind the bar who was so polite and couldn’t have been more helpful if he tried.

Great music / atmosphere, if your looking for somewhere with lots of drink choice I’d recommend the Blue Lounge, the staff are really friendly and the bar decor itself is to a high standard.

Come to Blue Lounge regular, amazing dog friendly bar with a great selection of drinks. we love the staff and all the regulars. Also had several parties at blue lounge the staff go above and beyond to make the occasion so memorable.

Top notch bar/club, awesome bar staff super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend going there at night on weekends amazing tunes from one hell of a DJ.

Been at the Blue Lounge last week with friends and family to celebrate my birthday we had a amazing time the atmosphere is fantastic all the staff were brilliant especially Shannon who went above and beyond to serve our little group... we definitely come back again

Celebrated my daughters 21st birthday here, everyone had an amazing time ash & Tom went above and beyond to make it the most amazing day!! Great selection of drinks the cocktails were great and not to expensive!! Came back late on the night and the DJ was insane great for a late night dance 💃 WE LOVE BLUE LOUNGE 💕

Fantastic place to drink, music is always good and prices are reasonable with a great selection of beer and spirits. Bar staff and manager are very relaxed and easy to get along with, so makes you feel very welcome. Thursday is a good night out with Beerpong on offer.

Great atmosphere friendly staff good value for money

I've only been in during the day and it's dead me and one other customer. It was that quiet you can hear the bottles rattling in the fridge. If you're looking for a quiet and I mean quiet drink this is your pub.

Amazing venue, great staff with amazing music, it is really busy on a weekend with a great nightclub vibe loads of amazing drink options.

Great little bar in Redcar. Friendly bar person and equally friendly clients. The bar is kept lovely and clean with no drunken smokers obstructing the doorways (at least during the afternoon when I tend to visit). They have a wide variety of beverages on offer and I can strongly recommend the Blue Lounge Lager at £2.50 a pint. I also noticed they do great deals on shorts and mixers if that's your tipple. They tend to play easy listening music so there is nothing to offend there either. All in all a very pleasant place to while away a few hours. Strongly recommended.

Visited blue lounge on a busy Saturday night, place was bouncing, the music was great and they had a wide selection of craft beer on offer. Staff were amazing at recommending some Great craft cans ! Service was fast considering how busy it was ! Can’t wait to visit again.

Saturday night...Crowded, couldn't move between entrance and toilet, no chance to get to the dance floor!! Need some air conditioning there, ther was nothing to breathe and very stuffy/smelly. Overall good music and atmosphere. Very busy bar, therefore long waiting time to be served. Photo booth nice touch and a good fun aspecialy after few drinks. No good for wheelchairs...

Friendly fun atmosphere great music I visited in the day time for a pint a few weeks ago with my standard poodle and all the staff where Friendly and outgoing bar staff a member of staff named Jodie made me feel very welcome and gave my poodle plenty of attention.

Best bar to go to on a Saturday night!! Ash makes the place what it is, she’s the best member of staff!

Best bar, always a good laugh, cheap drinks, good music. Atmosphere is always 10/10…the staff make it always so friendly and will do anything for you. Ashleigh in particular goes above and beyond!

This is a great venue for a nice quiet pint as the price is expected for some main branded draft and the only con is the price of the spirits
