Odd Socks in Redcar and Cleveland

We visited for breakfast. Lovely little restaurant (and laundrette). Cute and quirky and lovely food. The only downside was a hard egg, not a runny yolk. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Odd socks is one of my favourite places to go for coffee, and my daughters love it too. The staff are so welcoming and friendly; my youngest loves their hot chocolates, and they always make sure it isn't too hot and it has plenty of marshmallows! The food has been great whenever we have visited. The "imagination corner" is lovely and enough to keep little ones busy without it being over-bearing to those without children. I've done laundry once and it was really straightforward and the staff were very helpful. Overall I'd 100% recommend this place.

Poor service, poor food. Not impressed I’m afraid, it was cold, the toilets were filthy and the food was poor, weak coffee and clearly reheated food. Very disappointed

My first visit to the new site, wow lovely organised place. My washing machine broke down so whilst I wait fir a new one I had three loads of washing. The staff as always were so helpful familiar faces from the Aukland street one. The coffee was amazing the music great, the ambience of the place was quite relaxing! I will definaly be returning I would highly recommend! Good meeting place for a coffee sandwich or cake! Thankyou to the staff helping me today drama over after all my washing!

We had a delicious breakfast here with friends outside on a crisp October morning. The smoked salmon bagel was lovely and the latte was fantastic. Staff were attentive and kind. They offered treats to the dogs and chatted to the baby too! I would recommend a trip to anyone!

Delicious Breakfast and an unbelievable coffee! All topped off by the best service in the area! If you are ever in Guisborough I would fully recommend stopping

The food was gorgeous, and the staff were so friendly. I’ve never had a tastier honeycomb latte! If you ever find yourself in the area I would recommend a visit to this quirky little pocket of deliciousness in Guisborough!!

What an awesome place and fantastic idea!!! Laundrettes are few and far between these days and to have a lovely cafe to eat your breakfast or lunch while you wait is a blessing. The staff were very friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. We arrived in our motorhome and were welcomed by all, both washing machines and dryers are excellent (although I did manage to shrink my partners fav shirt ….. ooops !!! )

Great laundrette experience, where else can you have a bite to eat and do your laundry at same time. Staff were amazing , kids played in play area , good food and coffee, would highly recommend

Very slow service considering we were the only people in. Staff seemed to wander about. The laundry looked busy though.

Excellent service. Left a king size winter duvet to be washed and dried. Ready when they said it would be and delightfully clean, fresh and dry.

This is the best business idea I've come across lately. A cafe in a Launderette. Genius. The place is small and bustling with everyone friendly and chatty. I had a nice visit and enjoyed a lovely bacon sandwich and a delicious coffee too. Highly recommended

Absolutely marvelous. Fantastically quick machines do a thorough wash, making quick work of my laundry. Quick temperature controlled dryers made the drying glass and efficient. Great value for money and with the cafe catering for my dietary choices I spent am enjoyable time getting my laundry done. Thoroughly recommend this business and their happy helpful staff. Definitely will use again and again and again.

Odd Socks have been a helping hand just when you need it. When that pile of washing or ironing gets too much pop in and relax with a nice drink and super cakes or ring and they will collect and return at a very low cost. All done for you !
