Great little cafe. Amazing views over the sea and 100% dog friendly. They even gave mine a complimentary sausages which was very much appreciated. Value for money and tasty food.

Went as family of 4 for father's day. Ordered 4 breakfast and 4 drinks. My daughters order came with peas and not beans, nothing major, but found metal wire in beans. My wife's meal didn't arrive, was clear they forgot, when it did arrive it had no black pudding, when we complained and they brought it out it was undercooked. They completely forgot my sons drink, again had to tell them, it didn't arrive till after he finished his food.

Been to the Zetland Cafe today for breakfast. Great location on the Esplanade overlooking the sea,lovely clean cafe,staff are polite and helpful. I had the jumbo breakfast which also includes a drink for a very reasonable £9-50

A lovely cafe on the seafront. Dora , our doggy, loved the attention and the sausages. Our breakfasts were very good. Really friendly and great views out to sea.

First visit since refurb. Full English for me and a toastie with salad for my wife. Both plates cleared. Can't fault the food , the prices or the staff.

Fab sharing platters have been added to the options available, we got this as a treat for our anniversary. Really great value and great service as always.

Fab Sunday lunch, ready to collect at the time requested, very generous portions of super tender beef and fabulous Yorkshire puds. Will definitely order again, I didnt have to wash up either 😆

While lockdown is on the cafe tends o be only open on a weekend. After a bracing walk on the seafront you can’t beat a bacon butty with mushrooms.

Hi all we came in for a breakfast and it is a clean enviroment to eat. Dog friendly and also clean. Theres sanitizers at all tables and spaced out apropriatly. Very friendly enviroment

Called in on a Saturday - 2 other tables in. Waited 45 mins for a breakfast and bacon sandwich. Bacon was barely cooked and full of fat , bun swimming in margerine. Couldn’t eat it! Hubbies brekkie was quantity over quality - sausages were awful ! No CoVid regulations in place whatsoever !! Avoid

We came here 25th aug for breakfast I would highly recommend this little I had a full English & the wife had a breakfast omelette very tasty. We will definitely be back again thank you.

This cafe has very friendly and 5 star staff, go above and beyond. Also the food was lovely as always.

Me and my husband visited this cafe for brunch, he ordered a breakfast which he said was ok but he’s still waiting on his toast which the waitress told us was on the way but it seems you have to have a dog to get good service as all her time was spent with the only other table that was in at the time who had a dog with them. I ordered jacket potato which I only ate half of as it was so hard it seemed like it had been in the oven all night.

Proper nice breakfast, large was well filling, everything you expect on a breakfast. Excellent service quick friendly staff. Cappuchino was gorgeous just what you need to start the day. Well happy.

I had researched this cafe as I was visiting Redcar for the weekend and knew I'd want a breakfast. I walked along front and enjoyed the walk. The full breakfast was indeed ok. The bacon was tasty, but it was a bit overall smaller than I expected. When I was served. There was perhaps 3 other ppll eating. But my meal took a long time to arrive. Plus they have sachets of sauce which I found a bit cheap.

Came back to redcar again 3 times this year and called in at the award winning zetland cafe for the amazing breakfast. Beutiful food very clean even dog friendly but very hygenic which is a welcoming site for a dog friendly cafe..top food and lovely staff..if your passing this place its worth a call in.

The food looks ok, and the coffee was fine (although I’d have liked it to have been freshly made). The real problem is the hygiene! I saw a dog being allowed to put it’s dirty paws on the serving counter, and no effort was made to clean the counter afterwards. Worse was the lady cook who came round to enthusiastically stroke a dog and then she went back to cook without any attempt at hand washing. It’s a real shame that this poor attitude to hygiene will stop me visiting in future.

Stopped in today for breakfast. Very clean and cosy inside. Really good vegetarian options which was great. Staff very friendly and informed us that the breakfasts are customisable and any changes we wanted just to ask. I will be coming back!

Called in today for a breakfast, the cafe was quite busy which is a good sign that the food is good. The cafe isn’t large but the food quality and value for money is very good. The cafe allows dogs in and many of the customers were dog walkers with their dogs with them. If you are not a dog owner do not be concerned, all dogs (and owners) were well behaved and the cafe is spotlessly clean

Went here after the New Year’s Day parkrun double (Stewart parkrun Middlesbrough followed by Redcar in Locke Park). We had two small English breakfasts, tea and a latte. All good and more than big enough. Nice little cafe with sea views. Friendly service. Lots of dogs but they were all well behaved so even as a non-dog person it was good! Lovely stroll on Redcar beach in the sunshine afterwards.

What a beautiful little cafe. Superb cake but an amazing hot chocolate just what was needed on a cold December day. The waitress went out of her way to be helpful. Please visit even the dogs are welcome.

Had a lovely lunch here. Staff were super friendly. Lovely decor. Went in with 2 dogs and a friend. Dogs both got a sausage from staff...and a biscuit...and another bit of sausage!! Prices very reasonable. I’ll be back!

This idyllic little cafe defines the very essence in value for money, speed of service rolled up in Redcars' fishing heritage. Established over decades it continues to underwrite our fishing community.

We read reviews about this cafe before going and it certainly lived up the all the good reviews. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with interesting photos of the local area on the walls. The menu was good but their main forte is the variety of breakfasts they do there. We had a full English and an omelette filled with sausage, bacon and mushrooms with beans on the side and it was all beautifully cooked. The 2 ladies serving were friendly and chatty and we really enjoyed our visit there and will certainly go again when in the area.

I have eaten breakfasts from here to breakfast, this was one of the best I have ever had! Not only was it an excellent breakfast, it was also one of the best value meals ever.

the English breakfast was requested and it came within 7 minutes. the eggs were fried to perfection. the beans are of good quality. the sausages cooked to the target, the toast and cup of tea was blooming brilliant. it is not expensive. the staff are totaly polite. even a drink of water for our dog . you can see the staff take pride in the service they offer you. we will return. thank you to all the staff. well done.

Stumbled across this little gem of a cafe, one of the nicest eggs benedict I’ve eaten! All the girls working were really friendly and there seemed a real community spirit! Fab little cafe would 100% return.

Well what can i say...amazing food provided breakfast was absalutly amazing when i have breakfasts...dog friendly too with water bowls and the staff are lovely too...ide recommend this lovely clean professional place to anyone visiting redcar by the sea....

This used to be the best place to go for breakfast, unfortunately not any more. The food arrived only just warm, and wasn't the quality I had expected. I don't think I'll be going back again. Shame it's gone downhill.

It's impossible to get a better breakfast anywhere in Redcar. I won't go anywhere else because nothing compares! The breakfasts are to die for, it's all freshly cooked right in front of you and there's plenty to choose from. I'm awkward and always ask for my veggie breakfast with no mushrooms or tomatoes which they always replace with extra hash browns or toast which is really nice as a lot of places don't do that.

This is a sea front Café that we visit regularly for breakfast. It's not 5 star quality but the service is and the food is always on par. It would be 5 star but the food is not 5 star but still very good.

Great value food and excellent service, despite other more negative reviews we only waited 20 minutes for 5 breakfasts, a burger, a toastie and an omelette!!! Add in 8 drinks and it still cost less than £55, amazing value. Absolutely worth a visit, you can even take the dog!!!

This place is a must when visiting Redcar. Well cooked breakfasts, bacon butties and good coffee all at reasonable price. The cafe is spotless and has a great seaside feel, welcoming staff and it’s dog friendly. You may need to wait for a table but well worth it

Started popping in here for bacon sarnies to take out after walking on the beach with our little one. Lovely and clean and nice welcoming atmosphere. Staff are neatly presented and friendly.

The coffee - Latte has changed, it's as if they are watering down the milk, and the coffee tastes like instant! may be they have changed the Brand of coffee?

The staff were so friendly and helpful my husband had a full English breakfast and I had a bacon sandwich and tea, the food was lovely great value for money and Ellie our dog had a sausage treat in a dog bowl what a kind gesture.

Been in here quite a few times and it's consistently good food, gets busy at times but foods always hot and tasty. Dog friendly which makes it great. Opposite the beach so great views also.

We three ate here today having the full English and veggie. All delicious, well cooked and piping hot. Excellent value. The doggies were treated to their own sausage. Will definitely return and would highly recommend. Must mention the sea view and last but not least lovely, friendly service.

My partner and I were on a four day trip away.. We found this place by chance on the way down to Scarborough which was our last place to stay. What a find!... breakfast for him, and ham egg and chips for me, left feeling full, happy and we were both very impressed with the hospitality given, great food and prices..... Please try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Freshly cooked full English breakfast in a clean and pleasant environment. Fantastic views overlooking the sea. Wonderful outside seating area.

Excellent service, caring, compassionate staff, brilliant lunch. A group of four of us plus two dogs had lovely lunch today. The staff went out of their way to help us when our young puppy was unwell in the cafe. Nothing was to much trouble to help out. We cannot praise the staff at this cafe highly enough and we will definitely return the next time we are on Redcar seafront.

Turned up in Redcar on a misty morning with two dogs, all of us in need of refreshement. Brilliant breakfast food, really well priced and dogs got their own sausage. Lovely warm welcome and great food. By the time we left they had even managed to make the sun come out!

Had friends staying over and after a heavy night on the beer couldn’t face cooking breakfast so decided to try here and couldn’t fault it. There was 9 of us and we all ordered various things but the full English is really nice and reasonably priced. Will definitely be calling again.

Love Zetland Café! Staff are wonderfully friendly, food is spot on and can even bring the dog in. They also do mini dog bowls for canine visitors with chopped up sausages. Been four times now and stop in every time I'm in Redcar. Usually take some of the homemade cake for my journey home too!

What a great little cafe this turned out to be..... Called in for a coffee and ended up with a full English. Furthermore dogs are allowed and they get a free sausage! Only a small place with an additional outdoor terrace but you get great views and the staff efficient and friendly. Been back several times already and never been disappointed.

Sunday morning was extreamly busy. Outside decking area packed with families and dog walkers. Weather was amazing so lot's of people about. Service was speedy spot on and excellent value for money. Tuesday mid afternoon very quiet, overcast and cold. Service again amazing, product quality, cleanliness and value for money second to none. Small breakfast £3.95 large £4.95 tea £1 Definantly a must visit in Redcar. Putting us bsck on the map. Well done Victoria and staff.

Lovely little place, had a lovely sunday lunch here. Even got my fur fix as they are dog friendly. Very nicely decorated and nice views, right on sea front, car park nearby.

Come here regularly for breakfast with my partner and our lg. Staff are always dead chatty and helpful. Foods good and very reasonable. Always nice and clean. There are highchairs available and this place is breastfeeding friendly :) We love coming in!

Today, I revisited the Zetland Cafe and found that things were even better that before!! There is an improved Menu, the food was delicious and the Latte Coffees were fantastic. As in the past, the Service was quick and the Staff were very pleasant. There were a number of other diners at the time and the Zetland Cafe had a very nice atmosphere. I never am disappointed when I visit, great food and great service especially from Amanda. Well behaved dogs are welcome and each one generally get a treat. Atmosphere is fantastic. There is plenty of parking near by.

well what can i say about this cafe? I came here with my husband john, he had the chicken burger homade chips , salad and coleslaw. I had the homade soup with a white roll. the food was by far the best ive had in any cafe. the homade chips were to die for and everything was cooked to perfection! we brought our little pooch xander. with us and he was even given a complementary sausage all cut up in his own little bowl! the staff were soo friendly and polite and made you feel really comfortable. I highly recommend this place we plan on coming back every week!

Every time we visit redcar we have to visit the zetland cafe. It's always the same absolutely brilliant.

We visited the Zetland Cafe in Redcar today. We were looking for somewhere dog friendly to take our 13 week old puppy.

We often walk to Redcar with the dog and go to the Zealand for brunch. We are always warmly welcomed including our dog who gets a free sausage in his own bowl. Fantastic touch. Our food is always delicious and amazing value for money. We will keep returning.

Breakfast is great value for money and all top quality products. Service and attention to detail are second to none. Dog friendly and always welcoming. Views are amazing and great value for money. Sunday lunch is also a must. Highly recommended. Well done to you all.

Three breakfast sizes on offer, I found the middle one more than adequate for me and was excellent, and to enjoy the sea view was a big plus. It's dog friendly and has an outside terrace for warmer weather. Parking just over the road or car park round the corner, both are pay and display.

Brilliant cafe, really friendly staff, fantastic seafront location, dog friendly. We stopped off for lunch and fed and watered the whole gang (2 kids and 2 adults) for £15 cannot fault the grub which was excellent. Certainly going to make this a regular part of the seaside trip out.

Visited here with a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago.Was pretty quiet for late morning during the school summer holidays and all the better for it.

Good place to stop along the promenade for a coffee and a scone/cake with a view out the front to the sea. They also do various sorts of breakfasts and other food.

Admittedly we stopped by on a busy morning. It was quite full and we were advised there would be a wait for food.

The Zetland cafe has a new lease of life since the previous owners,it's very clean and attractive the lady that has it is friendly and the food is well presented. There's also a decking area with sea views and it's not just for smokers.worth a visit

Had a superb breakfast for 4 this morning. 3 x veggie breakfasts declared as being very tasty. One jumbo English breakfast which was extremely large and filling, certainly enough to last all day with minimal additional input!
