Visited with my son for a breakfast treat I had the traditional breakfast and my son the light for £9.50 both came with a cup of tea and round of toast. The light breakfast was not a small portion by any means and as my son doesn’t like tomato and black pudding he was offered a substitute of an extra hash brown. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked, kept us going until tea time!!! Only giving 4 stars as they forgot the fried bread 😂

Every meal prepared is a very generous portion of well presented food. From the breakfast's to the lunches, all of the food is top quality. Where else can you get a Chicken Parmo with side dishes for £4:75. And they cater for all types of functions - an outstanding establishment

Our first visit today for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed, food was delicious. We chose the traditional breakfast and a light breakfast and believe me the light brekkie was still a decent portion!! £5.75 for traditional and £4.75 for the light :)

The Worx is not a tourist cafe - and yes, you do get tourists in Redcar! This is a local cafe situated in a square in a residential area a mile or so from the town centre. As you might expect of a local cafe, they do a really good range of food, from the ubiquitous all day breakfast to lunch specials. They also do a full range of hot and cold sandwiches and, from the tempting menu, I restricted myself to a bacon stottie cake, which was excellent. Portion sizes all round are very generous and the prices are, quite simply, a bargain. Service was quick and very friendly. I will definitely use this excellent cafe again and highly recommend it.

Hoping to purchase a breakfast bun, imagine my horror when I saw the word ' Scottie ' on the menu (well it's Geordie Scran, isn't it ? ).Hunger took over and £2.95p was handed over.I took the said 'bread bun ' home and soon realised that a knife and fork was required to tackle this beast of a sarnie. With 2 bacon slices,2 sausages, egg, black pudding, baked beans AND mushrooms, the thought ( value for money ) came into my head. The second thought was,it would go down well with a glass of 'Newky Brown Ale ' ! 5 stars from me !

Been here a few times now and never been let down. Breakfast is excellent, value for money. Mince and dumplings is also first class. Both less than a fiver. Clean tables, friendly staff and good value dining.

My wife and I called in for a quick bite on a hot summer lunchtime. As we expected the place was packed with quite a long queue. The server told us that there would be quite a long wait for the food,w

We called in today and were served Fab coffee, Thai green chicken soup and a cheese scone. Would recommend as both food and coffee were great. Plus they're dog friendly.
