The staff were really great and so busy. The whole place was clean and tidy. No traffic noise and a good view from bedroom windo. The rooms were fine, nice white bedding and very white towels. Would certainly stay again. We had dinner in the restaurant well presented meal. Breakfast good with choice and lots of fruit. Thank you for making our stay good.

Cool bar with friendly clientele. Staff are smiley and attentive. Love the skiing theme and the Brewdog beer. Great having the ski videos on the big screen aswell. Just a thought, have you thought about showing the live skiing on Eurosport/Discovery+?

We were wandering around the harbour and thinking it was about time for a coffee when we saw this place, They specialise in donuts too so we added some to our order. Great - we sat overlooking the harbour with our coffee and donuts.

As a regular we have been going to the Commissioners for a long time however we have recently had a few mixed experiences but we decided to give this place one last go today , and ordered lunch from the lite bites menu, which was very disappointing. 5 bits of scampi, very pale luke warm chips and warm tartar sauce. The pork baguette came in a large bun which was ok, but the chips were awful - scraps from the bottom of the pan, not a single decent bit of potato in the bowl. When we mentioned this to the lady who cleared our table all she said was sorry we’ve had trouble with the potatoes - looking at other folks plates there wasn’t much of a problem with theirs! Such a shame as this place has great potential but we won’t be returning for a very long time.

Had a fantastic stay again venue is remarkable value for money and the food is very good including a great breakfast to set you up for the day staff are very friendly snd helpful what more do you need to have a great stay great location close to beeches and of course Warkworth just a stones throw away and should you need anything a supermarket is just round the corner

Good location, usual selection of food & drink available. Decor looking a bit tired but at time of visit a notice was up saying it would soon be closing for refurbishment.

Went today with family. My son bit into his chicken goujon and it was raw. When I complained to the bar maid, her response was 'well I didn't give him it!' No apology or anything.

Popped in whilst visiting Berwick and it was excellent Good food, lovely atmosphere and handy for parking Well recommended

Ordered the 3 for £14 odd soup was not even warn the hallumi fries wer not even hot and the chicken bits wer like rubber. Sent back for the soup to be OK fries wer rock hard as thay must have just put them under a hot plate as sauce went to plastic.not enjoyed at all ..never had any problem in spoons but this put us off ..

The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I can just do the other way and you can just come over here and get me if you’re not feeling good I.

Arrived 18:30 this Saturday, to enjoy a pre dinner drink , had to wait 25mins to get served , people walking in off street getting served before my patient self, when challenged the 1 bar staff, told well we don’t serve where your standing, ( even though he clearly saw me waiting) when yet another walks in off street and he serves , I remonstrate , the kind lady allows me to be served, when I ask why I’ve been ignored , he replies well pretty obvious I won’t serve you there. Get my drinks with 5 mins before I have to leave . I suggest putting up a sign saying no service here. He says I’m stupid. Will not return as my money obviously not as good as those he live in Ponteland!!!!!

Took my 90 year old dad out for lunch today. It was great as carpark outside so he didn’t have to walk far. They make sure they take your car reg so you don’t get fined. The service was excellent, straight over with menus and took drink orders- staff were lovely. Food was amazing, dad had regular fish and chips which he loved, I had crispy beef salad- starter portion with chips- loved it. Price was reasonable- my only complaint would be that desserts were pricey- £10- so we didn’t bother but…. The meal was great and venue had atmosphere, I would def go back

Popped in today for a quick cappuccino.Have to say service by two obviously bored children quite deplorable.No customer service skills plus staring at customers already sat.Barista obviously not in a good frame of mind as banging all and sundry.Come on Costa buck your ideas !!!

Lovely bar great staff and a quality food menu which is always updating at a good price.
