Adderstone Services in Northumberland

The staff were really great and so busy. The whole place was clean and tidy. No traffic noise and a good view from bedroom windo. The rooms were fine, nice white bedding and very white towels. Would certainly stay again. We had dinner in the restaurant well presented meal. Breakfast good with choice and lots of fruit. Thank you for making our stay good.

We stoppped here on our journey down the A1 recently - first time after a long period since our last visit. We were not disappointed. Service was its usual friendly self and the range of meals excellent. I had a breakfast roll that was really well filled and freshly cooked. Coffee was good too. Overall this is good, friendly, clean place to stop for good food at reasonable prices.

This is the last shop on your way to Bamburgh, so stock up on essentials if you are staying a while! Friendly staff and a well stocked shop.

Man serving me at the Petrol Station shop (Grey beard & 'Gulf' jumper) was too busy having a conversation with his colleague to serve me politely! Thats rude in my opinion. I asked for an itemised receipt at the beginning of the tranaaction- a £3.19 'Purdey Lodge' sandwich 2 x packs of crisps & 2 for £1.50 500ml bottles of juice became 4 crisps & 4 bottles on my receipt (HOW WILL I EXPLAIN THAT TO THE VAT MAN AS BEING MY COMPANY DINNER????!?) - He obviously thought this was his easy way out of the problem of the sandwich not having a barcode on the packaging: just scan everything else twice - AFTER ME SAYING THAT I NEEDED AN ITEMISED RECEIPT :( BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I'll be avoiding this petrol station from now on

Stopped off on Route Home to Paisley need a coffee & the loo I got a Very Friendly Warm Welcome from Silvia in the fuel station !! I always ask if I may use the toilet as I think ( it's only Good Manners to do so ) bought a coffee & snacks to go !!.Again Thank you to Silvia :)
