I had the meat pudding mushy peas n mash..well what can I say..nothing good..pudding was tasteless peas were cold mash was microwaved that much it had a crust the gravy was it's saving grace..first time IV been in wetherspoons and not liked food..hubbies fish was tiny and burnt..beer lager and cocktail were delish...pull your pants up wetherspoons total new refurb needed..as a trained chef and hotel owner for Toby if I was waiting on and saw so much left on plate I would query guest...you must be doing something right the place was packed out for a Monday...

I always love a good Wetherspoons and John the Clerk of Cramlington is one of my favourites!!!! I order from the app, the delivery is prompt, the staff are efficient. The food is tasty and the value excellent. I tend to order side salads / fruit sides with deserts to make it a bit of their healthier option. I love their margherita pizza and the raman bowl. The decor of this particular pub is fabulous. Tasteful and cosy with lovely fire etc. Recommend!

A good typical Wetherspoons pub

Update 9th May 2025 Usually spot on. Today the food service was appalling. My meal was returned twice and was cold and unacceptable. Very disappointed 😞 Absolutely gone down hill, have been going for a lot of years but no more.

Inside is actually pretty good and for a night out it's great, for breakfast Its poor which disappoints me to say as it actually used to be good, it's went down hill, someone needs to address the bacon issue it's horrendous!!

Although a very busy Friday afternoon I was able to find a comfortable seat immediately. My order was placed using the Wetherspoon’s app and arrived promptly. There aren’t too many pounds that serve steak & kidney pie, but this isn’t one of them. Food was hot, service was great and all staff were friendly.

Absolutely mediocre, no Leffe and alternative was "off"

Staff canny. Food typical spoons, good value. Tables dirty. Watched a table being cleared...used plates cleared away, the menu put back on table but the table didn't even have a quick wipe over. Tip ..... always take your own wipes to clean table.

Nice pub, average food at average prices.

Visited today for a bite to eat & my usual Whitley Neil raspberry gin which my husband ordered at the bar. The drinks came - I always try the gin neat first to check it is actually what was ordered. And this wasn't. Husband tried it as well & knew it was incorrect. In fact I could not identify it. It was returned to the bar. Staff insisted it was what was ordered & wouldn't pour a fresh one. As I had no idea what I was drinking I left it through safety concerns. Don't think I'll be going back to this Wetherspoons.

Always busy in this pub! I love it! Great atmosphere and the triple American cheeseburger with bacon is 100% recommended. Can't complain about price and service was fast!

Can get very busy and sometimes the tables are left dirty for a while food is average for a spoons and comes out quick which is worrying as it’s more than likely just heated through but you pay for what you get I guess

We're regulars in our local Spoons it's fab... we're not drinkers except coffee The food is second to none, especially breakfast 😋 👍

Typical spoons cheap and cheerful

This was a superb pub for drinking, with an old aesthetic particularly from the styling of the roof! The lights are glorious and woodfire is a neat touch, plenty of seating is available to a strong standard too. Counter is well-presented and I had a pint of Kopparberg, relaxed at a clean table!

Really busy Wetherspoons. All ages eating & socialising on a sunny Thursday afternoon. Swift professional service by that young lady in the picture! Real ale line was fantastic. Tyneside Blonde by Hadrian Border was so very well presented and dirt cheap at £1.99.

Lunchtime with my Mam she won't have anything fussy very suitable

Myself, my husband and daughter popped in for some dinner on a week day as we knew it would be quiet. We ordered through the app and received very fast service. I ordered a barbecue chicken pizza which had to be eaten with a knife and fork due to how thin it was, but it did taste nice. It did get slightly rowdy at the fault of some of the customers but that was to be expected and the establishment was big enough to accommodate our needs as a family. For a family of three our meal was cheap and cheerful, I can definitely see us coming back again as an after school treat.

It's a great spoons, the staff are friendly. The service is great. Our food arrived very quickly. The drinks prices are great compared to other bars in the area and it's a stones throw from my home. Defo make it park of your Crammy bar crawl.

Really nice place to go and have some food. Does get a bit busy sometimes but that’s what you can expect for a pub in a village. Staff are always really friendly and food does come out relatively quick.

Unlike other Wetherspoons we've been to, breakfast was served quickly on nice heated plates. Clean tables everywhere even though they were busy.

Ordered the 3 for £14 odd soup was not even warn the hallumi fries wer not even hot and the chicken bits wer like rubber. Sent back for the soup to be OK fries wer rock hard as thay must have just put them under a hot plate as sauce went to plastic.not enjoyed at all ..never had any problem in spoons but this put us off ..

Arrived about 10:30am, slow service, ordered four breakfasts, three came and had to wait about 10 minutes for the fourth. One was missing a mushroom and all fried eggs on all four plates were not runny. Breakfasts were eaten all the same! Quite tasty.

Refused third drink because “had too many” sorry what ahhahahahah howling

It's not a pop at Cramlington but a national problem.the nans always come out chewy. I love spoons and regularly eat and drink in them.but this needs to be looked at.apart from that I will continue to eat curry Thursday and probably continue to send the nans back.cheers

Decent enough Weatherspoons, probably one of the best ones I've been in... Nice and tidy, food was good.. Luckily for me, I didn't need to use the toilet so I'm not sure how far above sea level they actually are in here..

It’s a Wetherspoons so you know what you’re getting, a decent menu for breakfast and dinner and the usual range of drinks all at a very reasonable price.

As regular frequents of this fine establishment, we (myself and my fellow compatriots) can attest that the "tattooed, pierced, floppy fringed member of staff" is one of the kindest and hospitable hosts a patron could ever hope for when in a chain public house. Never a bad night, all staff keep a cozy and collected atmosphere. Would highly recommend to any weary travellers looking for a spot of respite. Top commendations all round.

Great pub go, caters for everything, live a family meal there cant beat the all day breakfast. Great for a pint or a cocktail and really well priced.

It’s a Wetherspoons, it is what it is, nice cheap beer and food and the toilets are upstairs. Not a huge place and there can be a struggle getting a table at busy times. If you’re wanting 5 star gourmet food this probably isn’t the place for you. The pizzas and the burgers are actually pretty good and the rest is more than adequate. The cinema is just across the road as well which is handy for a nice cheap date night (I know how to treat her).

Couldn't sit outside with a dog despite it saying on Google Maps information that it's dog friendly. So it was a wasted journey. To make matters worse there was a guy smoking right next to a 'No Smoking' sign and the staff member ignored him. So Willow Farm had my business and they were fantastic!

Came in on Tuesday for some food and drinks and was greeted by some Lovely staff, and good service from a tattooed gentleman who was friendly and helpful.

Exactly as you would expect from a Wethers. Didn't bother with the app, just went to the bar. Football night so lots of crowded round the the big screen. Staff were a bit distracted, but to be fair, most of the customers were interested in the footie. We weren't.

Wet outside so pub relatively quiet. Usual unwiped, uncleared tables. Behind the bar, floor littered with milk bottle tops, serviettes etc. That's in public view, doesn't bode well for the kitchen really. Obviously unable to regulate heating as it's cool outside today, & not very warm inside!

Friendly staff and very helpful. Great food served nice and quickly. Our large order all came out at the same time, no issues and all very happy with our meals. Staff were visibly busy but still friendly and very professional. Lovely afternoon spent celebrating a 90th birthday. Thank you to all staff concerned.

Great pub with the friendliest staff and typical great value from spoons

We went on curry night and we were dissapointed with the quality of food. Microwaved rice, and the curry tasted like a microwave pack of curry. Rubber chicken and rubber rice. On top of that, we went at 3pm and there was a very intoxicated male and female, they were shouting very bad swear words for around 30 minutes before they were removed by staff. They should have been removed immediately at that time of the day. The two people were in care of two kids at the time also, (poor kids). Very dissapointed with our visit.

I visited this wetherspoons not long after it opened and it was very good . I'm visiting the north east again was in Cramlington today so went for lunch to John the Clerk . The tables were littered with dirty plates and glasses . The food took a long time to come , when it did there was no cutlery . I could eat burger and chips with my fingers but my friend couldn't eat ham and eggs without cutlery . After a while her daughter went and got cutlery , we had been eating for 10mins when a staff member turned up with cutlery . The food was very poor. Every where I go in the country I look for a Wetherspoons , I will bypass this one on future visits .

Went for the steak Tuesday offer. Ordered one medium and the other well done for the 8 oz, my partners was OK, my steak, chips and what came with it were luke warm, asked the staff if I could return this, that was no problem. In getting my second steak it was warmer but the rest the same. Not a good experience!

Generally good as 'spoons goes. Food generally OK, cask beers kept well. However, the tattooed, pierced, floppy fringed member of staff with a whole bag of chips on his shoulder lets the place down. Fair play to the rest of the staff. Shame as a reasonably good 'spoons !

came in and ordered drinks off the app. I drank mine so I ordered a new one and when it came my girlfriend didn’t realise I did so she sent it back then I was walking to the bar to get it I saw the woman with it and asked I think that’s mine for table 6 and she snapped and said well it’s on the bar so get it. Then I sat back down and had a saw something in the cocktail pitcher my girlfriend was drinking and there was white bits floating around so I went up to the bar to ask what was in it where I was greeted with a well I can’t make a new one as you have drank it. I then said I didn’t want a new one I just wanted to know what was in it. The girl behind the bar snatched it out my hands slammed it on the bar so I couldn’t get it and said I am not making you another one so I got the drink back after asking for it went back to the table and left. The place was filthy all the glasses were filthy and some of the staff were even worse. Would recommend to try some other Wetherspoons

Always busy, but staff cope well. Granddaughters enjoy the kids' meals as well, so win-win.

Excellent Spoons pub, with great prices on guest ales. It’s actually cheaper than the Whitley Bay Wetherspoons pub example with guest ales at £1.99 compared to £2.88 for the same beer. The only thing is that it can sometimes be a bit hard to find a table at really busy times.

I really am fond of spoons, the prices are very reasonable. It must be the first weatherspoons which has a tiled floor, rather than carpet so it's a lot cleaner. The staff are friendly too. There isn't any music, but there is many other pubs a few meters away

Double American cheese burger was pretty disappointing. It sucked. Small burger, giant single piece of gurkin and somewhat dry burgers. Chips weren't anything to shout about. Wouldn't recommend.

With a new diagnosis of Parkinson's disease and refused a drink to being wobbly I will not be returning.

I'm sat in the Cramlington Wetherspoons as I type this. A really nice version of the 'Spoons franchise. Comfortable warm, clean, aesthetically pleasing interior. Friendly staff and a generally excellent overall feel to the pub. The breakfast was perfect, a really nicely cooked meal we thoroughly enjoyed. Great pub, nice food, enjoyed our visit immensely.

Called in after years of our last disappointing visit and wow what a transformation! Completely different place staff all happy and friendly the atmosphere was totally different! Food was out fast great value for money don't know what's changed but we will definitely be returning.

Awful weatherspoons. I had the plant base burger. And it was a burger in a bun. Nothing else with it. Place was gruby. Won't be going back there.

Typically an average visit of wether spoons. Cheap ish meal. Tasty . Portion was enough for me but options to add extras if wish. I had the steak was nice.

Quality of the food was alright but it was a very noisy place on a Saturday afternoon.otherwise it was alright.

Lovely spoons probably one of the best in the area, food was brilliant quality for what you pay as well cant go wrong, drinks always great here as well. They had the wood fire on when we went as well which made it lovely on a cold rainy day.

Food was mediocre. Order arrived in dribs and drabs. Dirty tables everywhere.

My son and I popped in after shopping nearby Wish we hadn’t bothered. The place was full at 2.30pm mostly with loud intoxicated people. After searching for a seat we eventually found a table for two. My son ordered our food via the app. I ordered Cod and chips and my son ordered an all day breakfast. I went for a coffee from the machine and on my return our food had been served to our table. I was horrified when I saw it! The fish, if you could call it that, looked like it had been thrown in the fryer while still alive and tried to escape. It was served upside down as it was so bent out of shape, fried to a crisp and rock hard. People eating nearby looked on in horror as I tried to negotiate it on the plate. I noticed the staff avoided asking if everything was ok and feel the “cook” was watching from a distance. Tables not cleared and empty glasses all over the place. The manager should be ashamed.

Another great day out at a Weatherspoons

We eat here regularly, the food is hot and tasty, it is not gourmet but you get a fair portion, there is plenty of choice and the service is good. The drinks are fair prices too

Shocking. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee cup. Both coffee machines broken. Freezing cold inedible breakfast. The worst spoons I've ever been in

It’s Wednesday and it’s Knit & Knatter where all items knitted are for sale with proceeds going to NE hospitals 👍🏻 Today is also the start of the Spring Real Ale Festival - up to 30 beers brewed specifically for the next 10 days and for sale at the knock down price of £2.49 per pint.

A jolly place with good local atmosphere. Never had a complaint about the food and a very quick service with great staff. Toilets are always clean which is a big thing for me. I like it that they entertain local groups too; the knitting group as an example. Parking is free at sainsburies over the road or, if your lucky, a few shops away round the corner.

Staff are a joke getting kicked out for doing absolutely nothing wrong wasn't harming anybody whatsoever and wouldn't even give me my £13 that I paid back. Thieves🖕🤣🤣🤣🤣

Went for there steak offer very disappointed asked for medium and medium rare came out blue and uncooked complained but we were neither listened to definitely wouldn't recommend

I’m a big Wetherspoons fan and visit different ones regularly and usually get good service but I visited here last night and ordered food. The pizza I got was soggy and uncooked underneath but really tough to cut around the edges and I couldn’t eat it. When the woman came to clear it away she asked if I’d finished and I said I had but couldn’t eat it as it was undercooked. She said she would mention it. We were sat just outside the room where they clear the plates off and receive the food from the kitchen above so I saw her clearly throw it in the bin and not mention to anyone hence my poor rating here. In my local spoons they would have refunded without hesitation. Poor service here. Training required.
