Horrible staff. Not sure what his name was but he was mid 40s , glasses , and strange trousers and was the rudest person I have ever met! Coffee was good but toastie was undercooked

I enjoy going to this Costa apart from most times I've been there, no matter which table I sit at, all of them seam to be uneven & 9 times out of 10 my drink is spilled at least a little.

The 2 girls in hear are super friendly really lovely service and everyone that came in seemed to know them, you no a place is nice when nearly everyone is a regular, my oat milk latte very nice and my Christmas slice very tasty, nice to get in out the rain!

Best coffee and coffee house atmosphere in town. Warm, friendly and proficient staff providing a huge range of drinks and tray bakes. Highly recommended

Our first visit to this Costa whilst visiting Berwick. We only wanted a hot chocolate for mum. The guy serving was nice and presented well. Mum said the hot chocolate was good (no as good as her usual costa...) The shop appeared clean, with a few customers sitting, though tbh I wasn't paying much attention that. What can I say its a Costa coffee... 3/5 🖖

Can't fault Costa at Berwick upon Tweed. The staff were just brilliant. Great customer service,coffee was delicious and hot,clean and tidy,comfy seats and we were made to feel really welcome. Well done !!!!!

Popped in with my adult daughter for a coffee, the drive thru was shut on a Tuesday at 2pm, so went into the store for takeaway! The staff are lovely and trying there best but the whole store was disgusting, counter tops, cake displays and floors never had a proper clean for a long time! The metal jug the girl heated my milk in for my coffee was very well used and was caked in old milk residue being re heated time after time! The coffee machine and steamer wasn’t even wiped between customers! Awful awful awful

4 drinks orders to go. Very efficient. Lovely. Got order correct. And I was quite indecisive and flakey about my order so good on them LOL

Stopped off on a coach tour for a few hours ,nice clean store, lovely staff and lovely latte, Would recommend to pop in when ur visiting Berwick upon Tweed town centre.

Asked for a toastie, only toasted on one side, said thats is how it is done!!!

Ordered a iced latte with a sugar free vanilla shot, because I'm type 1 diabetic, just got home and felt weird tested my blood and seen its jumped to 22 (should be between 4 and 9) so obviously wanst a sugar free shot, if I hadn't caught onto it earlier would probably be in hospital right now, good one costa

iI don't understand why customers are not permitted to sit in the cafe when there is still well over an hour before it closes. Even a woman with mobility problems was turned away by the staff. If a cafe is open until 5pm then surely a dine in service should be available at 3.45pm.

Very weak flat white, couldn't taste the coffee. We had to wait 10 mins to get it as the members of staff were talking to friends there was no queue, just sloppy service. Not a good impression at all.

Great coffee very pleasant staff but the edibles are a tad on the expensive side.

Absolutely disgusting, staff giving free food and drink to their friends, stood playing with customers hair and not washing hands before serving again, sweeping the floor but leaving piles of rubbish under customers tables and chairs, leaving pensioners waiting ages to be served coz they were busy talking, toilets were disgusting, not the first time in that particular branch and do have photos to back this up, if nothing done about it we will contact environmental health, especially with covid pandemic still going on

I can now understand why Scotland has such an high rate of covid, not a soul in here, including staff, was wearing a mask. Coffee was on the weak side.

Very nice coffee all ways hot far better than an machine that never stays hot for long .The staff are all ways happy and pleasant, would recommend the berwick store to anyone.

Visited this cafe to get out of the bad weather. Service was good, the place was clean and although quite busy there was suitable seating available. The snacks are expensive but we returned the next day so not put off by the prices.

Its a costa, staff are lovely, drinks are in my opinion over priced for what ya get.

Coffee was nice but empty hand sanitiser on stand when entering and toilets were dirty and tap in wash basin was not working so could not wash hands very poor considering the present climate with covid

Seating areas not great with table cleaning I'd expect better during these times. However the toilet area is less than desirable.. used this cafe at just before 10am this morning (Sunday not been open for long) and the toilet floor was filthy covered in tissue, smelt of urine and the sanitary bin was over flowing not to mention the mixer tap had little more than a trickle of water how on earth you are expected to be able to wash your hands is beyond me. Don't think we will be visiting again any time soon

The coffee and bun were first class, how ever the cafè was under staffed and delivery of the coffee was slow and the toilet was not as clean as it should be and there was no toilet paper. I do not blame the staff. There was just not enough of them for a busy branch

Stopped here for some breakfast while I was at Berwick. It's just your average Costa. However, it has plenty of seats and distancing so not bad!

Nice shop. Clean and staff are lovely. Have a good choice of hot and cold drinks. Sell food such as sandwiches and cakes and you can sit in or take out.

Bog standard and forgettable soggy toasties as per chain level. Clean restaurant with Covid measures in place though no evidence of being reinforced by staff but perhaps this wasn’t a necessary factor during our visit. Experience reliant on staff capability. Sorry blondie, but you fulfil the stereotype. Putting a dirty stained cup on our tray was negligent at best, but luckily your colleague spotted and amended before handing back over.

Full of teenagers not actually drinking or eating anything, not particularly clean, annoying piped music, very slow service, so what is there to like?

Love costa coffee but service very slow and all of the tables stacked high Sunday morning at 9:30 only 4 people in the queue but took 10 minutes to serve Around 8 people in the cafe but place littered with dirty pots

Nice place but at times you have to shout to have a conversation an that is not what you really want when out for a coffee. Coffee is good, staff are nice and food is tasty
