Absolutely LOVE this wee gem of a place. Staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much or too little for them. Our girls adore meeting up with four legged friends and even have a puppy/doggie playpen for off the leash antic Update 14/03/25... No longer have dog pen but it's not a loss. Still a fantastic place with smells of home baking, fresh pizza and bacon awaiting your arrival. Chris is fantastic as are the girls, make you feel more than welcome and nothing too much for them. Honestly, a wee jewel in the crown for dog cafes.

Excellent choice of healthy tasty food and fabulous cakes.

Plenty of beer options, enigma variations. Named after the breaking of the Enigma code from WW2 and the local contribution of Thomas Brown, rescuer of codebooks from a sinking U boat. A straight forward ale house for the practise of sipping nature's elixir, the beer and the exchange of spoken word in comfortable surroundings.

Expensive and bad taste of music 😔

We started coming as part of our Saturday dog walk. Service is great, food is great with a nice selection of sandwiches and cake ,or plenty of alternatives all at great prices.

Delicious wine, lovely staff. Highly recommended.

We had takeaway but the atmosphere in the cafe whilst waiting was lovely, very helpful and welcoming owner, noticed the 'washererupper' was doing a fine job! The soup was delicious and a huge serving, hubbies butty was very tasty too. A great little addition to a walk in the park (forgive the pun!) You've got to visit this little gem.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing, the service is excellent, the food is on a different level, absolutely unreal, so tasty and well presented. If you have never been you need to treat yourself.

Lovely staff and epic food. Some amazing views of the river just round the corner too. The Big Yin breakfast was pretty spectacular! 👌

Popular organic cafe for students mostly, offering breakfasts,bagels and snacks. Coffee is good but pricey. Staff ultra friendly and helpful. Reminds me of Brighton.
