First time in village delights and it’s a really lovely cafe with great service and lovely food, would definitely recommend.

Excellent and quick, friendly service. Wide range of meals on the menu, all freshly cooked.

The food is absolutely good and definitely taste the "chicken quesadillas". On the other hand, the portions are very small. Advice order two right away and take your time because it doesn't go very fast. Perhaps because of the online orders because as said, the food is certainly good.

Lovely cafe. My husband and I had coffees and cake. Both were delicious. The meals being served to other customers looked very good. Next time we will visit for a main meal. The cafe is dog friendly...while we were there, people brought in their dogs...seven in all.

Gorgeous place the staff are kind

Paid over £9 for bowl soup with no bread ( they looked at me like an alien when I asked for gluten free bread). Delicious but expensive. Very young staff with music blasting. Not sure would bother again

This is under now ownership, tloved the previous owner so was bit bit worried when she sold up. The new owner has worked very hard on a revamp of the cafe, menu and staff. It is still very friendly and budget friendly too, they do all the cafe food you would expect but they specialise in home made cheese cake. Lots of different flavours, most days will have 2 different ones, if they are not to your taste come back the next day for 2 different flavours. My fave is still the vegetarian breakfast

My wife and I really enjoyed the hour that we spent in the Cock and Bull. We called in for a drink on a quiet January afternoon. The bar was warm, the few locals that were in were very friendly and the beer was superb. I enjoyed a couple of pints of a golden beer brewed by Anarchy brewery. My wife had a Czech lager and that was also very good. I also have to add that by today's standards the prices were VERY reasonable. It is certainly worth a visit.

Just enjoyed the most fantastic afternoon tea today. The service was first class, spotlessly clean, very friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious, could not fault it in any way, highly recommended and will definitely make this a regular place to eat.

Este sábado necesitábamos visitar Darlington así que le preguntamos al dueño de una tienda local dónde estaban los mejores bollos y aquí fue donde nos recomendó. Pequeñas mesitas de café de un par abajo unos cuantos más arriba, pero visitamos antes del almuerzo y nos sentamos enseguida. Aunque era temprano no quedaban bollos de fruta, lo que fue decepcionante, así que solo conseguí probar el bollo de queso - chocolate caliente de lujo, pero no crema, así que hija un poco decepcionada Hicieron bollos calientes si se les pedía un bono tan bonito. El té estaba en una tetera que es preferible, pero era muy fuerte. Algo de agua caliente podría haber ayudado. Podría haber preguntado. Supongo. This place is wonderful. We found it during a Google search and decided to risk it. I couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. My son and I had the brunch bowl and my husband had the dhal. Then we each had a different vegan dessert. How often it is that you get a choice of vegan dessert? Often there's nothing at all. We visited at lunchtime and it was not busy. Don't miss this restaurant. It really is worth it.

I took a group of advanced motorcyclists to cafe 19 for breakfast. We were shown where to park when we arrived and greeted in an extremely warm and welcoming way. Food service was prompt and enjoyed by all of my colleagues. Thoroughly recommend this establishment .
