Stitches Micro & Tapas Bar in Redcar and Cleveland

Only called in for a drink but was pleasantly surprised the place is very small but comfortable, a large selection of beers and wine. After living in Spain for 10 years this is the closest you will get to the authentic Spain. Great staff knowledgeable and friendly will definitely be coming back.

Lovely food and great, friendly staff. Danny you were awesome! The churros was the highlight. The best I have had outside Barcelona. Lovely atmosphere too. I have been waiting to come here for ages and finally made it. The fantastic reviews are all true! Would definitely visit again.

We had friends up from Manchester and when we take them out for a meal we usually cannot compete with them but on this occassion they said the tapas meal we had here was as good if not better than any they have had in Manchester!

We visited this tapas bar twice on our holiday and both times the food and service was excellent. The bar staff were professional and attentive and the chef enquired if we had enjoyed our meal. We would definitely visit again when we next return.

Service was friendly and very efficient. The menu had the tapas regulars with extras. Wine list was quite extensive in Spanish wines .dont miss the sherries on the back of the list. Would recommend this to anyone who fancied something different and tasty.

We had been twice before just for a drink but this time we decided to have some tapas.The service was really good, prompt but relaxed. The food was lovely. We are both vegetarians and it was so good to have a lot to choose from.Will be back soon.

Popped in for lunch and a pint. Absolutely delicious tapas. Lots to chose from and some specials. Good choice of wines, beers and ciders on tap. Great service too. Well worth a visit.

Had a very nice meal the other night. The atmosphere is lovely and the way its done out is perhaps strange (a tailors crossed with a restaurant) but very nicely done and kinda works. The food was good but not amazing but would probably go again. Good choice of drinks and pretty decent vegetarian options but only two desserts which I thought was a bit lacking and the pudding was clearly a heat up in the microwave job. So overall good but not outstanding.

Not one to write reviews normally, but have visited Stiches several times, and the food and atmosphere has been great. Connor was very friendly and helpful, great choice of food, well worth a visit.

Went one Saturday afternoon with friends . Had never had tapas before so didn’t know what to expect .. Good choice on the menu . Chose a few dishes between us and really enjoyed it . The food is delicious and a well stocked bar and the staff were very friendly the place is spotless and deco very nice. Lovely atmosphere and a great addition to our fab little high street. Booked to go again next Saturday evening with friends .
