The Times Inn in Sunderland

Always try and visit this pub whenever we come up to Sunderland. Friendly pub and proper landlord. Great jukebox,range of beers and sky sports.

Myself & a friend ended up accidentally stopping by. We were welcomed by a lovely owner of the place, it’s more than reasonably priced. It was a Friday night and we were even offered curry & rice gifted from the owner which was on the side of the bar and you could help yourself. Everyone was so friendly and we will definitely be returning

Old fashioned boozer. (very few left) Never changed since the swinging 60s. The bar staff are second to none, even if a little arsey even if after hours are required. But always accommodate the customer. By the way the customer is always right! Top Marks to Nicola and Joyce.

Reason for 4 stars is location, not easy to find if a new customer and is only open, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sunday. Decor is conducive to a relaxed atmosphere with reasonable prices and pleasant bar staff. It doesn't serve food as the title implies but it's mainly busy at night
