Always try and visit this pub whenever we come up to Sunderland. Friendly pub and proper landlord. Great jukebox,range of beers and sky sports.

Myself & a friend ended up accidentally stopping by. We were welcomed by a lovely owner of the place, it’s more than reasonably priced. It was a Friday night and we were even offered curry & rice gifted from the owner which was on the side of the bar and you could help yourself. Everyone was so friendly and we will definitely be returning

Old fashioned boozer. (very few left) Never changed since the swinging 60s. The bar staff are second to none, even if a little arsey even if after hours are required. But always accommodate the customer. By the way the customer is always right! Top Marks to Nicola and Joyce.

Reason for 4 stars is location, not easy to find if a new customer and is only open, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sunday. Decor is conducive to a relaxed atmosphere with reasonable prices and pleasant bar staff. It doesn't serve food as the title implies but it's mainly busy at night

Alquilé estas cátering para mis hijas 21 celebración de cumpleaños. Sarah era muy útil y feliz para ajustar sus menús para satisfacer a nuestros huéspedes paladar. Muy pocos desechos, al final de la tarde y todo el mundo había comido su llenar. Varios huéspedes eran de antecedentes militares y comparó el buffet a algo que había experimentado sólo en una función de desastre de oficiales. Sólo tengo alabanzas!

Whitburn Road, Sunderland SR6 8AA EnglandI’ve had the pleasure of tasting a few of the mouth watering treats for here. The jam and cream scones are gorgeous, so light and fluffy, and the cheese scones are rich and tasty. My personal favourite is biscoff and white chocolate cookie pie. Warmed in the microwave for a few seconds at home, with a cup of tea is my idea of heaven! The staff are fantastic and always go above and beyond. Well worth a trip. You will not be disappointed

171 Chester RoadBeen coming here for 20 year and today was the first time it felt odd, filling wasn’t the usual size and the woman serving oldish women had a right attitude shaking her head. I had to ask for a bag 4 times to her disgust. Still won’t stop be coming but gutted.
