I love this cafe without this owner the place wouldn't be the same. Warm friendly caring owner Loving pie and chips Milkshakes are the best in the area and nothing too much trouble to ask Karen for. Children friendly.. puzzles on the tables to do while waiting for fresh food. My children are always asking to go here

its a cafe, but the owner Karen is an excellent cook, she makes all the cakes and the pies, the pies are the best I have had, but they sell out quick. its a must visit place milk shakes are divine

What a fantastic little cafe! Not only can you select from a range of light snacks and take advantage of their meal deals you also have a good range of ice cream desserts and a wide range of milkshakes. Their milkshakes are some of the best I’ve tasted anywhere and always made fresh on the premises. I love the flexibility of even creating your own milkshakes! I would heartily recommend their peanut butter and Nutella milkshake which I’m enjoying as I write this. Lovely food and even lovelier service. This place is one of Stockton-On-Tees best kept secrets!

My wife and I are regular customers @ shakes, Karen and her staff are very friendly, we haven't had any of their ice cream or shakes, but we always have a cheese toastie, poached egg or corned beef slices, which are excellent and very tasty. As they are homemade, their coffee ☕ is also yummy. Plus it's always best to support local businesses.

Our family of 3 enjoyed our ice creams in the outside seating area in the sun. There are a variety of flavours including Oreo and lemon tops. The lemon top is highly recommended, it was delicious

What a lovely little find! Me and my friend both had milkshakes I had banana an he had mint aero (made with an aero bar) you can pretty much have whatever flavour you fancy!!! Staff are very friendly and chatty. The only down side was seating is very limited and very close to each other so avoid busy times if wanting to sit down but you can always take out. Looking forward to trying something new next time.

We visit here alot and honestly say it's a lovely friendly place to come to have a bite to eat. karen has a lovely approach . Food is excellent . It's very clean .

I really like Karen who works there, she is really kind and her ice creams are soo good and good value. I have visited a fair amount of times and I am always greeted.

As usual, Karen was busy and bustling about her tiny kitchen. Had great toasties and tea and then the best lemon top in the area. True sorbet topping - yummy

Wonderful place, so friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and fresh. Milkshakes are best I have ever had and the amount of flavours to try is crazy, you will have a hard time making your mind up. Staff are amazing so helpful and friendly. This place caters for all and us extremely friendly, the children love the balloons and stickers and the games that are on the table. Very hardworking owner who always aims to please.

Had a yummy lemon top with my grandson, our second visit. The first we had toasties, tea and cake. All served with a smile and a good chat with the owner. Very busy, small but fantastic

Saw this shop whilst on business in Stockton-on-Tees. It is in a converted building that has been purposely fitted out to help fledgling starter independent businesses, cost-effectively, test the market. This gives them an indication of whether operating their own business may be what they really want, and more importantly, whether they can be successful. There were maybe a dozen different businesses in the building in a prominent position on the main shopping street. I decided to have a cake and coffee deal for £2.75 which was great value for money. I chatted with Karen, the owner, who took the decision to give this a go. From everything I saw she builds a great relationship with each customer, young and old. The menu offered drinks, snacks, ice creams, smoothies and more. I passed on a few tips as my work involves visiting and meeting independent businesses on a daily basis. She was eager to learn anything to help her business grow. I, for one, have no doubt she will be successful. If only more people had her drive and enthusiasm the high street would be in a better place. 10 out of 10.

Came across this place a couple of weeks ago in the enterprise arcade. It's only small but has all sorts of light meals, sundaes, shakes, paninis, ice cream and frozen yogurt plus more. We both had a sundae. I had a toffee apple one and I can't remember the name of the other one but it had honeycomb and caramel in. Both were really good and very reasonably priced at £2.75 each. The lady that was working was lovely and friendly. We would definately recommend and return. Pictures added also.
