Just enjoyed the most fantastic afternoon tea today. The service was first class, spotlessly clean, very friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious, could not fault it in any way, highly recommended and will definitely make this a regular place to eat.

Feels very much like a hidden gem of Middlesbrough. Amazing staff, beautiful coffee and food. Such a fantastic place to relax with friends over some great food and drink.

We visited as a birthday treat for our daughter. The food was lovely and the portions were very generous. The service was also fab and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed it and at just £10 per head we will definitely be returning. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve had hi tea at the Ritz Carlton... Hong Kong Peninsula... And many other 5 star hotels. Minfika can hold its own against any of them with regard to quality, but when you factor in cost, it knocks the spots off all of them... Very generous home made pastries and finger sandwiches, delicious cupcake/cheesecakes, scones with clotted cream and jam...all served with coffee or tea... The setting and service is friendly warm and comfortable... Recently added liquor license has afforded the proprietor leave to offer wine and cocktails, theme nights and lectures and language lessons are regularly on the itinerary... Book a table in advance, this little gem of a place has many loyal patrons... Can thoroughly recommend...

We had a lovely afternoon tea here today. It is a bargain at £10 but under the government scheme was only £5. A variety of sandwiches home made cakes and a quality cup of tea plus efficient friendly service. Perfect.

Lovely small quaint tea rooms amongst the streets of normanby. Afternoon tea is just £10 with 50% off during eat out to help out. Got range of sandwiches, crisps Fresh scones with Jam and cream, cake and cheesecake and some fresh fruit. Unlimited tea coffee or juice and friendly service.

we had a family get together today to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary.the place was warm and welcoming with a cosy feel,everyone loved the sandwiches and a good selection of cakes and lovely fresh tasty scones ,it was a great find and will call again for a family get together

Took my mam for here for mother's Day and we had such a lovely afternoon. It was just £10 each for afternoon tea which was lovely, we got refills of tea and coffee and took some cake home as there was do much. The scones are light, fresh and delicious. My mam loved it as it's like a little old terrace style house with old furniture and cute tea cups The lady who runs it is always delightful and welcoming.

Held an afternoon tea here yesterday for 25 of our family and friends to celebrate my mum’s 65th birthday. The venue is lovely - cosy and welcoming, and perfect for a small event like this. The staff are friendly and helpful and we were allowed to personalise the decorations to surprise my mum. Our whole family and a fantastic afternoon and I can’t recommend either the service or the quality of the food enough. Thanks for a lovely day!

Went to Richard Cuthbert Physic evening. Only £10 each for ticket to the event which was a very pleasant evening lasting approx 3 hours in a nice cosy setting. Coffee and Minfika cake was available to buy on the night at their usual very reasonable prices

Visited this place on their 4th Birthday as they were offering free cake with every hot drink as advertised on Facebook. Had an Americano and coffee cake which was lovely. It's a nice relaxing place to go for a coffee if your in the area. They also do some good events which you can find on their Facebook page.

Really find this tea room so cosy and nice.The lady who runs the tea room is extremely friendly and helpful. There are lots of activities going on such as tea parties for people and there are certain days when there is a language course. Well worth a visit

Excellent Afternoon Tea with Santa Love Minfika but it was ever better decked out for Christmas. Took my friend and her daughter's and we had a lovely time. Nice sarnies with home made cake and tea, coffee and juice. Would recommend. And to top it off we got a visit from Santa who had presents or the girls.

Met up with some friends over a coffee. Service was very good and the Coffee was excellent. Really friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

My son told me about this little coffee shop, its a favourite of his & he suggested I call in. Its not on the main street but up a quiet side street so you'd have to know its there or could easily miss it. A few of us called in the other day for drinks, its a lovely little coffee shop with a wide choice of drinks all reasonably priced. The mocha that I had was the best I've had in any coffee shop, & I've had a few! Although we didn't have cakes there were a family on the next table & the cakes they were having looked lovely. Will definitely call in again

Took my 3 year old granddaughter for afternoon tea. Lovely food and Leah, the owner was lovely and very accommodating. My granddaughter loved it. Highly recommend a visit.

Lovely little coffee shop in Normanby Limited menu mainly toasties and cake, very nice and reasonable prices. Range of hot drinks. Slow but friendly service.

Con un ambiente un poco (bastante boho cojines en las sillas), era un lugar estupendo para disfrutar de un café con leche y un bocadillo. Visited on a Friday 11am, really quiet so quick service, lovely filter coffee and toastie and good value. Tucked away in the streets of Normanby.

He estado un par de veces con mi hijo, que disfruta el chocolate caliente. Es una cafetería con personal que trabaja duro. Son serviciales y hay mucho para elegir en cuanto a bebida sería fácil quedarse allí todo el día. Espero que esta es una parte permanente de Normanby

Visitamos con 20 + amigos para el té de la tarde el lugar gran ambiente, buena compañía y excelente servicio. El té de la tarde era preciosa y fresca, me encantó el quesos sabrosos sándwiches, helados, seguido por preciosas y bizcochos casero muy, muy delicioso! Volveremos de nuevo muy pronto, difundir la palabra es una pequeña joya con entorno pintoresco, pequeño menú y el personal encantador atento.

A lovely small tea room behind Normanby High Street. Had afternoon tea here (bought as a Christmas present). Sandwiches lovely and fresh served with a bowl of crisps. Homemade scone with jam and clotted cream - yummy. Also a lovely slice of homemade sponge cake. You can have tea or coffee, we had tea and ended up having a few pots. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be visiting again.

had a quick snack of a toastie and cup of coffee,,service with a smile,and lovely atmosphere,,it is has an emphasis on a swedish style cafe hence the name Minfica,,plenty of filing in the ham n cheese toastie,,and coffee served in a lattee glass cup,its the second time i ve been and will definately popping in for another snack maybe choosing a scone or cake after shopping

My friend and I had toasties and coffee, then cake and more coffee! The toasties were fine, but there was little selection of cakes. The service was good and very pleasant. To be fair, it was a cold, wet, blustery day, so we were looking forward to a warm welcome. There was only one heater, by the door, and by the time we had been there for about an hour and a half, we needed our coats. We were sitting towards the back of the tearoom and in front of us was an archway to a room with another table, and lots of things (resembling a store room), plus the back door, which was opened several times, letting cold air in of course. On a warm day, with more selection of cakes, it could have been another story!

The service is friendly, efficient and the tea and coffee is prepared and served well. Delicious afternoon teas, light lunches or just to pop in for a tea or coffee in a relaxed atmosphere is what you get !

Wife and 10 friends had "Afternoon Tea" which was organised for after normal hours, they had a great time with best of food and service all said they will be going again especially as a group. Book for a group of+10 if you want to stay after 5 PM

Had heard good things about this little place and they have just started late closings on a Saturday so we booked up! Lovely little place with lovely staff, afternoon tea for £8 was spot on and I would highly recommend, will definitely be visiting again!x

Visited for the first time last night to attend a craft class. What a lovely homely place all done out vintage and it just has such a lovely feel. The cappuccino was really nice and the craft class was so much fun have booked up for the next one. In the meantime I will definitely be going back to sample the afternoon tea and cakes etc. Great little local business to support.

very friendly place we visited me my wife and to kids age 9 and 13 and they loved every bit of the cream tea place is a nice relaxing place with friendly staff and food was lovely and at a very good price thanks we will definitely be back

Gorgeous, quirky tea room. Lovely food, China cups and saucers, byob of bubbly, charming staff for which nothing was too much trouble, great value we'll become regulars!!

A delightful, quaint little coffee shop with friendly staff, china cups and saucers and a friendly atmosphere. Afternoon tea was delicious with a good range of sandwiches, cakes and scones. We had lots of extra tea and coffee and was a great place to catch up with friends. Excellent value for money and I will definitely be visiting again :)

Celebrated my friends birthday with the girls. 15 of us, varied ages. This gorgeous little coffee shop couldn't of been more accommodating. We took our own prosecco and the staff provided glasses complete with strawberries! The sandwiches and cakes were all fresh and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely go back and would recommend a trip!

Honestly, one of the best coffee shops I have been too! Lovely staff and great coffee and snacks! I felt relaxed when I was there and didn't feel rushed to leave! I would definitely recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!
