Amazing location and nice food!

We only went in for drinks and ended up eating there as what we saw coming out looked good and it didn't disappoint.

Mi familia y yo tuvimos recientemente otra visita a la que ahora es Alfies nuestra experiencia fue tan encantadora, hemos estado antes en este pub / restaurante y siempre hemos sentido que nos recibieron cálidamente con una cara amable , la parte delantera del personal de la casa son increíbles para hacerte sentir tan cómodo y especial , entonces la comida se sirve con un toque tan encantador , no podían hacer lo suficiente por ti , todos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas muy especialmente el pez monje , todo fue fantástico , también disfrutamos de los vinos que fueron recomendados, yo recomendaría totalmente 100% Alfies , si para una bebida , cóctel , o una ocasión especial , atienden a todos . . . siempre una salida tan encantadora . .

Great place for a chilled lunch

I visited here late after afternoon to meet someone. We ordered our drinks and a portion of food. Food and drinks were appropriate. However, Mocktails/Cocktails are on higher end of price. Something which bothered me was the constant check by the servers ‘anything else, anything else’. It is like you are asking to leave. On contrary, we had to ask 3 times for the water. Rest is fine. No issues with the place, vibe and everything.

We ordered green tea for two. This is usually priced around £3 at the most. I mean it's green tea leaves boiled in a bag. It came out undrinkable pipping hot and cost us £7.30! I am more annoyed with the price than the fact it was pipping hot. I know prices have gone up but charging this much to customers for a green tea is outrageous. It's safe to say I will spread the word and won't be coming here again!

Lovely dining room, and servers were courteous and attentive. There were a couple of breakfast options for those who require gluten-free meals, but not sure if it would be celiac safe. Was a bit disappointed that the acai bowl is actually just yogurt with acai powder, but it was still very tasty. Full English was alright, nothing special. Unfortunately, the cappuccino ordered was only tepid in temperature, but when brought to the server's attention it was quickly remade. Overall, the experience was OK, but there are better options in the area for breakfast.
