Really friendly and accommodating staff, with excellent food…. Never had a bit of fish THAT big and tasted wonderful. Due to a promotion we all received a free Gin - the atmosphere was brilliant with great background music. Would definitely recommend the Cubit Haus Beer as well.

Everything we had was exquisite, ( and we ordered a lot of food) the chicken could be the best i had in London. The staff was super friendly , i would totally recommend this place

Where do I start, this place is absolutely lovely, just above Café Kitsuné, this lovely brunch place offers lovely food, very aesthetic decor, and great vibes. I highly recommend it and their salads are banging!! Go for brunch/lunch, you won’t regret it!

The atmosphere is amazing on the rooftop balcony and staffs were really nice. but there is limited vegan option about 1 out of 5 main dishes.

We booked Christmas dinner for a group of 11. We had excellent service from the booking to the day. Multiple phone calls to organise and confirm the allergies of the guests I had mention. The loveliest staff on the day and in advance. I had been a couple of times with girlfriends for drinks and dinner but I will now be going more due the excellent service we received. We are so thankful!

Loved the place! We were on the rooftop, sat outside even though weather was not perfect, but area was well heated and I enjoy the natural light. Service was very good and everyone was very friendly and professional. Every plate we took was very tasteful and portions were very good for a "brunchy" situation. Definitely will recommend to friends

Pantechnicon is an eclectic mix of decent food, great Ambience and poor service. We went as a party of over 30 people with clearly identified allergies and guess what? Starting with the soup they got it all wrong. Right from serving soup with croutons to people allergic to gluten, just serving ice cream to those allergic to dairy, and yelling for being called out for having pieces of paper in the dessert, this place does it all with the alacrity of an Asian vegetable market. Do try if you have the stomach, but make sure your antihistamines are all stocked up

Attended a whisky tasting sponsored by Suntory and paired with japanese-themed dishes. Everything was beautifully prepared and served. The menu showed considerable skill in pairing complex food flavours with the individual components of the Hibiki whisky and showcasing the harmonisation of all these flavours. The standout courses were the cured mackerel (marvellous); the nasu miso aubergine; the super-light and very crispy mushroom tempura; and the wagyu steak with perfectly fried crispy shallots, and smoky micro-greens. The truffle and passion-fruit petit fours were also delicious. This is the first time we have been here, and we would definitely return to dine, and most certainly for future food/drink "masterclasses." A lovely evening with a very original and unusual twist on a gourmet experience!

Had an absolutely great time on Saturday lunchtime. The staff were great, the food was enjoyable and the ambiance was good. Well done, would happily come back.

The service especially was outstanding, so nice to be in a place where the staff are really friendly, professional and do a great job. The food was excellent, and there was very good options for gluten free including gluten free bread available. We sat at the bar for a drink (very comfy stools) and then sat (at a table) in the rooftop restaurant for lunch. It was full but didn't seem overly squashed in or too loud which is a rare treat in London. The decor is also beautiful and done to a high quality. All around enjoyed and will be returning.

Ordered pumpkin ravioli and the trout dish and both dishes were delicious. Great place for a special occasion as well as a casual occasion. Roof garden was cosy and warm. Very accommodating staff. Clean bathrooms. Only wish there was halal options considering the location.

The level of care at Pantechnicon was incredibly high! The food was absolutely delicious and well presented! My wife is vegetarian and she was happy about the various dishes to choose from! From spending time with colleagues or friends, or having a date night, Pantechnicon will not disappoint!

I had the pleasure of dining at this rooftop restaurant in London, and it's an absolute must-visit. The ambiance was delightful. The service was impeccable, with a staff that truly cared about ensuring we had a memorable experience. Now, the food... Every plate presented a masterpiece The chef's culinary expertise was evident in every mouthful. Ingredients were thoughtfully selected and executed with precision, creating a harmonious medley of flavors that truly captivated my senses. This restaurant offered the best dining experience and I can't wait to return for another memorable visit!

Food is okayish , ambience is great, service is attentive. They add a 20% service charge on top of the bill - this is not the US - never mentioned on the menu or by the waiters either - we did not notice at the time of payment

It's lost it's edge. The menu is now bland and standard fare (compared to previously) and the service shocking. A shame

Came in for drinks only. The hostess was incredibly rude and made us feel like we had no business being there, very much a “I’m better than you” air about her. She looked bored and annoyed - much like the rest of the staff (apart from a barmaid who was very pleasant) Service was incredibly slow, and to top it off, they don’t inform you about the extra cost of mixers that go along with a spirit. The staff do NOT deserve the service charge at all and I think it’s ridiculous you have to pay it, instead of having the choice to. Lovely place and decor however not at all worth the extortionate costs.

We have only been in London for a day and a half and today I found a wonderful gastronomical experience. It was our lunch and we needed protein. After walking through the Embassy district of London, looking for someplace to sit and eat, we ran across this place. The staff were inviting and helpful. We decided to eat from the starter menu. We ordered the Cured Salmon with golden beetroot, dill creme fraiche and pink peppercorn. Absolutely amazing. We added Angus beef tartare with confit egg yolk and an amazing side sauce. We also added mashed potatoes with gravy. The beef was a masterpiece of flavor. The potatoes with gravy...Made a country girls, toes curl. I highly recommend you put this on your must visit list. Dessert was fresh made salted caramel Ice cream.

Terrible food. Our table couldn’t stop laughing at the bizarre cheese board and panna cotta with “seasonal berries” consisting of a SINGLE strawberry sliced in half! Table of 4, each dish worse than the last. Steak was good, but tiny portion.

Have been 3 times in the past month. Food is average, service is AWFUL - possibly one of the worst in London. Snooty, unfriendly hosts/hostesses both at the ground floor terrace and rooftop front desk. The wait staff are either severely under-resourced, poorly managed or just incompetent. Nobody serves you for a good 10-15 minutes, not even with water. When asked to switch on the fans on a hot day, the staff either “forget” or told us they had to ask the manager, and that “they might not be working today”. When it was pouring rain, the terrace ground floor hosts made everyone walk around the entire building & through the cafe to get to the lifts directly behind them (zero consideration / empathy), despite the Sachi terrace being completely empty, and the rooftop hosts were seating people on the balcony seats which are not properly covered, where rainwater was pouring onto the tables. 🤯 Such consistently terrible, chaotic service. The only silver lining: cocktails are good. But there’s lots of great options in London for good cocktails.

Amazing hidden gem with fantastic food ( very impressed with the beef tartare ) and a great atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and chatty. Highly recommend for dinner and a drink, but reserve a table as it's packed!

Fantastic place Not to be missed

Absolutely shocking service from man at the entrance. We were told off for exiting the incorrect way when their sign was pointing us in the direction. He admitted this was wrong, but was incredibly rude and still told us we should read the sign and that "we now know for next time". I'm glad he thinks there will be a next time. We were seated on the roof terrace. Service was slow, trying to get the attention of staff seemed to be a struggle - especially when the restaurant was rather empty. All in all the staff just seemed bored and annoyed. Prices are super expensive. The food was good, but not THAT good to warrant such high prices. Its a shame because its really lovely up there, but you get that typical smug holier than thou attitude from that one staff member at the entrance that look at you like you really cannot afford to be eating here. It should have been a pleasant work lunch with 7 of us attending, but this was one of the least memorable experiences we have had together. Honestly it would have been fine if the guy at the entrance wasn't so rude and patronising. We have been to the coffee restaurant before and had a completely different experience so its really sad that our experience was ruined by this man.

The atmosphere was stunning, the ambience relaxing and the staff was welcoming. We had the egg royal and florentine. Overall the food was good however the egg was undercooked, which made us feel uncomfortable eating it. However the staff was attentive and when we complained they gave us the option of not paying for the food.

Well worth the visit. Good, varied and different menu. Our group ate the beef tartare - very fresh, salmon starter - equally fresh and seasoned well ... chicken ceasar salad. In an age of chain pubs, there is a real need for pubs like this. Service too was good.

Made a reservation for lunch. The host was ok, took us to the table without much of a greeting. We sat there looking at the menu, it was 1:30 pm and still brunch menu. It was a very hot day, we were at the roof terrace. Waited for over 10 minutes, not one server came to us, not even to offer us water, it was really hot there. After this time, we decided to leave. I told the host we were leaving and the reason, we had a very monotonous ‘oh, sorry.’ He took my name for the reservation and that was it. I’ve been there before and the service has been ok, not great but good enough. This time, I was very disappointed. Also, the cool shops in the building are gone so it’s only for restaurants now.

Trendy space with a Japanese restaurant and a great coffee place.

The Rose Courtyard by Minuty. To be frank, I'm not fussed paying £19 for a glass of wine, but I do expect it to be brought to my table and not have to go to the bar and fetch it myself after I have paid for it and sat down.

I am so disappointed that I won’t give 1 star because the of the building… Hostess was ok although he almost passed people in front of me for absolutely no reason. Me and my friends went to Sachi first; The waitress kept pushing water even though we were ordering bottles of wine, at some point bringing and opening a bottle of water we didn’t even want to but whatever we decided to go with it… she took a long time to come back to take our food order after we said we were ready and on our 2nd bottle of wine. Food came fast. Wagyu tataki was good but trout tartare came with crisps that was impossible to eat. I’d kindly recommend to the head chef review this as it’s a very difficult dish to eat all together but the flavours are spectacular! All sushi was great, eel, tuna, yellow tail.. shout out to mushroom one! Amazing! Sadly my 2 stars go all to service. 13.5% and the waiter at the roof top after dinner, dropped half of a bottle of wine on my dress while was serving the first glass… the I asked to have a new bottle, he was distressed and had to speak to his manager about it and we were waiting for about 30-40 minutes to be served after spending almost £300 at the restaurant and £60 in a bottle of wine dropped on my dress. Food is good but service was HORRIBLE.

Very second rate food at inflated prices. A seafood risotto lacked any subtlety of flavour and had scarcely any seafood.

Fabulous food, good service from professional and well trained waiters. They're a bit dry and could probably loosen up a little. But they're professional. Decor is fine, it's a rooftop, it feels very posh, wine is pretty expensive but nice. We had a lovely rose and it was great. It's pricey generally. It's a great place for an upmarket brunch with friends.

The best place to eat in London! The service was so attentive, all staff really care about the guest experience which is shown by great recommendations for food and wine. The food was delicious, with no complaints and very full tummy’s! I enjoy sitting out on the rooftop terrace especially in the sunshine, but they do have blankets to help you keep warm. Can’t hype this place up enough!

I have no words, I ve been here before and I did eat good food but this time it was stelar. See the pictures, we had the padrons, burrata, beef tartare and pigs terrine, then battered haddock, Lamb Barnsley Chop. It was stelar. I have no words. We had the crepe and the chocolate mousse which were also done well. I am just wow. Thanks to Abel who looked after us mostly that night!

So, the place and locay is stunning. We had lunch on the rooftop, indoor. The food was good but pricey and the chap who took our order was great, but the customer service was a bit hit and miss, no one watching drinks and water top ups, we had to keep asking...and for a top notch pricey place u expect great service. We found a hair in a starter, they were apologetic and did bring a replacement but did not comp it or offer a good will gesture. Was £70 a head which is alot....as not everyone drank...but rooftop is truly beautiful. The bread and miso butter fab, fish crudo and croquettes were yum

After hearing how famous is this place, I went to try it yesterday and I was highly disappointed with the customer service at the cafe downstairs. The girl at the cashier was wearing earplugs at the till and replied with very sharp answers. I couldn’t believe my eyes. She was rude, uninterested, and definitely not wanting to be there. At some point I wasn’t I wasn’t sure I took a sparkling water and when I asked her she looked at me and said "it’s on the tray" and looked away. I am very disappointed as I was expecting a better experience considering the set up. Also we went around 4:00 p.m and all the food was almost finished. I usually a good amount of time in coffee shops due to my work and thought I could add this to the list of go - to's, but sadly I am not coming back.

The youn lass with the pig tails was superb. Smiling , enthusiastic and certainly outstanding in every way. I only wish i had asked her name.

I had my birthday dinner here in the private room of sachi with 16 people. it was amazing we did the set sharing menu and they were super knowledgeable and helpful about allergies and vegetarianism. the only issue was they mis calculated the wine so we had less than we pre ordered (but that was reflected in the bill so it was all ok!) the woman looking after us was so unbelievably lovely. would really recommend for group dinners.

The most underwhelming and overpriced food in London. Rooftop is nice but would never dine there again. McDonald's is better value for money.

Unfortunately while a lovely building and location, there were kids screaming and running around from a large table next to us. Staff did not seem to want to address it. When we went downstairs it was much the same. Our Sunday lunch with minimal drinks was over £100. Unless the place operates with a view to being a relaxed environment for adults, we wouldn’t return sadly.

Me and the wife popped in for a birthday cocktail on the roof garden before lunch at Petrus round the corner. Coffee shop and cafe on the ground floor was very popular and looked good with a nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. We headed to the roof garden for a cocktail, and as I mentioned it was my wife's birthday they very kindly brought out a little cake with a candle after our drinks! We saw food coming out to other tables and it looked and smelled excellent. We will definitely be back, highly recommended if you are in the area. Many thanks for the experience

I have ordered items from the Pantechnicon online shop just before Christmas but it seems the shop went bust and I never received my order nor a refund !? Despite multiple calls and emails requesting a refund it seems the management just decided to ignore me. Terrible terrible customer service. Avoid this place

The food was amazing and very tasty, however it will go cold very quickly. And whilst the atmosphere was very tranquil and intimate, the service was lacking as it took forever to get a waiter's attention between dishes. Staff nevertheless friendly. Price is very appropriate for the area (Knightsbridge),so expect to spend between £30-35 per person for a starter, a main and still water.

Lovely place but portions are small. I was surprised to see 3 minuscule slices of pork belly in a tiny plate that was meant to be shared. Luckily we also ordered some spuds but, overall, items on the menu were pricy. The food is tasty and the atmosphere pleasant, especially on the terrace.

Been here before. Always a warm welcome and good service Foodquality is ok for the prices charged. Menu offering some traditional english pubfood and some specials. Tables are a bit too close to one another and music is a bit too loud. But overall a good choice for lunch or dinner.

Lovely place with a lovely team right from waiters to behind the bar and reception. Small but well curated menu. Will be lovelier in summer. Just not a huge fan of the Asian food smell almost suffocating you in the lift and common areas. I will go back in summer for sure for the cold press juices, the carrot cake, corn giblets and potted shrimp and croissant. Delish!!!!

We were outside odering And the owner told us we don’t have another booking and we ordered a lot of food and alcohol and the bill was almost around 200 pounds we all told him to pack it for us because the table was raining outside and he was like I’m sorry we’re finally booked and then after I told him I want to cancel he told me that I have a table inside his attitude was very rude and it was very bad and I paid 200 pounds for nothing and I told him to pack the food for the staff and for other people stuff was amazing Megan was the only best waitress to be honest and the owner has zero hospitality and zero attitude

Simply we’re having dinner outside and all of sudden the rains started we simply asked nicely to come inside and then the owner came and bragged how he had 72 bookings today and then I told him I wanna cancel my food he told me it’s not allowed to cancel and then I told Him to pack it he told me it’s not allowed and then we paid and left the table and we didn’t even eat bad attitude

We tried to have breakfast and were very disappointed. Ordered Japanese Eggs and Waffles, Waffles came out cold after 45 minutes, I cancelled the Japanese Eggs after waiting an hour. The staff were polite and apologised, but the manager had absolutely no back bone and didn’t even apologise, even though he put through the change in order. Absolute rubbish !

Christmas Dinner at ELDR | HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | The team did an amazing job creating a great atmosphere and were very flexible and understanding regarding our last minute changes. On top of the excellent service, the food tasted and looked amazing and the menu was tweaked by the chef to accommodate the various dietary needs.

Went here on Saturday to celebrate our engagement as we'd gone back in 2021 and had a wonderful time. What a bitter disappointment. Despite highlighting the reason for visiting in the booking (requesting a decent table for such a celebration) and calling in advance, the only table available inside was right next to the entrance, so instead we were initially seated outside, next to a loud a raucous group. We asked to move, which the waiter obliged and we ordered our food... only to tell us that the table we'd been sat at was reserved. We were moved again to sit next to the toilets, which was far from ideal but we thought we'd make the most of it. We ordered oysters to start, followed by 4 starters including bread. The oysters arrived at the same time as three starters, but no bread. We tried for 15 mins to get a waiter's attention to ask about the bread, by which time we'd finished the starters. Another 15 mins later the bread eventually arrives, but we were done. Celebration ruined. In fairness, the manager was lovely about the whole thing and put everything on the house (this is the reason for 2 stars and not 1). I understand the challenges of understaffing but it was a huge disappointment on such a special celebration. On the food we did eat, the oysters were delicious. The other dishes (scallops, beetroot salad + mushroom dish) were not very exciting, it was a disappointment following what we'd had in the past. Less Nordic, much more fusion and less interesting/refined than we remembered. This is probably best suited to casual dining rather than celebrations, but we were both pretty gutted.

Went for drinks at the rooftop bar. It is a lovely building and nice interior but that’s about the only positives I can give sadly. I called and emailed many hours before our booking to let them know we may arrive a little later and to check if this would be okay. No response. From the moment we arrived we felt an off vibe from the staff, as if we were wasting their time. I had mentioned it was my girlfriend’s birthday, but no one cared or said anything! Our server was not very friendly and the atmosphere felt pretentious. We felt awkward even asking for water… Rooftop was pretty but there’s no view. Overall will not be returning in a hurry…

We have now hosted two corporate events at Pantechnicon's eldr restaurant. It has honestly been one of the best event coordination experiences I've had. The staff are so accommodating, the food and wine is always delicious and we really enjoy the evening. Highly recommend using this space for a special dinner with clients and prospects.

First visit for a drink, sat at the bar and made very welcome, staff know their drinks. Nice and warm and friendly. Will be back very soon.

While the Sunday roasts were really nice, I found the customer service really poor. I’d booked a table for two in advance, and had a call on Friday to confirm the booking which I did. We arrived at 12:30 and got told the table needed to be free in an hour and 15 mins because they had 150 bookings in for the day... even at this point, I thought okay it is what it is, fair enough. At 1:30 the manager came upstairs stands next to our table looks at his watch. He then proceeded to tap me on the shoulder to say he wants the table free. I wouldn’t mind but we had a clear table and quite literally just finished our drinks. The waitress then came and took away the water from the table and it just felt like they were hurrying us along. I then asked for the bill which never arrived until I asked another waiter for it… the final cherry on top was the £12 service charge. All in all, it’s a nice place to go for Sunday lunch but certainly don’t break your neck to go there, especially when you've booked a table and think you've got it for more than an hour. If we'd had deserts or starters I'd of been eating them at the bar I reckon the way the manager was hovering about.

We had a very nice dinner. This is a great place for people watching so we were happy when we were offered a table outside with view of the street. We started with Gin Tonic at the bar while waiting for our table to clear. Friendly bartender. Nice atmosphere. At 26£ for two 50ml shots of gin plus the bottles of tonic, we felt drinks were reasonably priced for the area. The Arancini made a good starter and is fine for two to share. For entrees we ordered the Fish and Chips and the Guinea Fowl. The fish was a large portion, almost too much for my wife. The Guinea Fowl was an interesting presentation. It had been baked, then fried, which made it nicely crispy. It was served in a sauce of pearl onions, green peas, green beans, kale, and sprouts. Service was attentive, but not rushed. Their wine list is not extensive, but we found a nice Cotes du Rhone for only 44£ Overall, we felt it was a good experience and well worth the money. We could see them tuning people away at 7:30 on a Friday night so I suggest you book a table in advance.

Took a colleague and a client for supper the other evening and was completely blown away, everything was superb, food, wine (excellent sommelier advice on a fab Slovenian white), service and ambiance!! Go now, you won’t be disappointed!

From the decor, the service, the food, the rooftop restaurant offers an exquisite experience. The Nordic -asian fusion is delightful and fills the palate with warmth. The waiter was attentive to our requests and was great with recommendations. A must visit place for a special experience.
