Great venue - expensive cocktails 1 busy gardens

I came here as part of group on the basis that the roasts were good. 3 of us ordered the beef fillet and were disappointed as the cut we got was quite tough. The best roasts on our table were the chicken. Otherwise this pub offers a great community vibe in a quirky dining room.

The ambiance is nice, although one of the workers were rude to us. Her name is “Hajin”. She made such a rude remark towards us. We were trying to get souvenir cups and all of the tills were closed, we came forward to let them know that we were ready to pay. She tells us “are you okay” in such a weird attitude, then continues to glare at us and made us feel like we were dumb tourists. While i looked back, she kept giving us such a mean glare. Matter of fact, all the workers were rude and very unwelcoming to customers.

I'm just discovering this channel and I really enjoyed this first experience with a very kind team that listens to the customer. Mr. Z (I have already forgotten his first name dsl 😅) very kind, was able to advise us and yet I was a little difficult so thank you again.

I usually go to The Butler’s Retreat on my morning walks but decided to pop in at lunchtime for some food. I tried their new Lamb Kofta dish and it was sublime! The tzatziki completes the kofta very well and you can’t go wrong with flatbread! Will definitely make time for an afternoon walk from now on. Service magnificent as always!

Sick pub, very friendly staff and great drink selection 10/10

From the minute we walked in we were made to feel very welcome by all staff, service was 10/10, food came quickly and was lovely… super pleased with our first visit will definitely be coming again! 100% recommend to anyone x

The Eat Your Greens salad costs 15 pounds and is very mid. Barely any flavour except for a squirt of lemon. And not that big/filling. I honestly got a better Miso Salmon bowl at Harrods (!!!) for just 9 pounds. Don’t recommend. Didn’t try their smoothies, which I think is more their wheelhouse.

My favourite place in Chiswick. Have been coming here for years now. Their Chicken Pesto baguette is genuinely the best I've ever had, but they have a huge selection here. Staff always pleasant. Lovely coffee and great to sit outside too in the good weather. I just wish it didn't close so early!
