The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

We met up with a lovely friend for lunch. We had tomato and basil for starter. I had a flat iron. Our friend had the burger, and my had prawn & salmon pasta. All arrived together, presented beautifully. Service was spot on. Definitely return. Reasonably priced.

Shocking service had items missing from the order I called, they guy said he’s confident that he put it in the bag, well must’ve eaten it on the way then mate coz there not in my bag. Now declining my calls and won’t refund me or bring me my items. Shocking !!!!!

Popped in just for a drink with the dog after a walk in Clarence park. Nice comfortable seating and friendly service. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Costa Southend today. I ordered a coffee for collection and ended up waiting for an hour for it to be prepared. Usually, I send someone from home to pick up my order, and today my mother went. She waited for a long time, showed the staff our order confirmation, and yet they demanded payment for an already paid order! This is completely unacceptable. I had to come to the café myself to sort out the issue, and after all this hassle, they finally found my order. Waiting an hour for a simple coffee is outrageous. If you cannot manage your work, you shouldn't come to work at all. The staff’s attitude towards customers was shockingly bad, and I will never order from Costa Southend again. Absolutely disgraceful service!

Tall and light brown skin barista lady was so rude and service hella slow. Don’t bother. What a joke. She was super slow and hasn’t got a clue how to operate or run the place although she looked like someone senior. Hire someone who can actually manage

Average food. The bacon, Brie and cranberry panini needed more than 2 slices of Brie as was dry. The coleslaw was not homemade as stated on their menu. The kids meal came with hand cooked sharp crisps when ideally should have been puffs or a safer type of crisp. Would not pay £34 again for the food we got. Very disappointing. Very much squashed in like sardines too.

Since our last visit it seems to have either new ownership or just new management, the cafe looks cleaner i e. The floors are swept and tables wiped including the service counter. Staff were friendly and helpful. The washroom could still have some tlc as it looks scruffy. We didn't have food on this occasion so cannot comment on that. Hopefully it will continue to get even better over time

It was an okay club but it's wasn't a great vibe. However the dj seemed to use the smoke machine as an excuse to vape. Overall we had a good time.

Went there at 2.15 pm as always done for years even with previous owners . One staff member sitting around while other serving , asked for 2 toasted cheese sandwich, we got from the staff sitting abruptly NOT SERVING HOT FOOD , so had to lump 2 hard stale cakes instead and when I say stale I mean stale , I went to ask for sugar for tea, it was like I was asking for gold. This place has gone so badly down hill , we won't be returning they used to do such beautiful fresh cakes and staff were so friendly. And to say no to making a cheese toasties you seriously don't want customers do u If it carries on like this it will lose completely.

The best sourdough bread ever! Have yet to find a sourdough that surpasses Bread Source. Have also tried numerous other items whilst sitting in on numerous occasions and never once been disappointed. It's always excellent and great coffee, too. Bread Source is always a must visit place whenever I am in Norwich.

Good food not sure it filled me up.

Good service, good coffee, sit outside and watch the swans. What else could one want? On our first day of house hunting in Chelmsford we went to BBs. 20+years later it is much the same and we still go there for coffee.
