Service with a smile friendly staff

Six of us popped in for 3 hot chocolates and 3 coffee's . We sat down and was served it in cardboard cups not proper cups. Never had this at any Costa I have been too ! The drink was luke warm. They need to learn to heat properly! Slow service. We thought we had found or place to go fir a nice hot drink,but won't be going back.

Great coffee and the staff are so friendly. (update) I've been using my local shop over the festive period and witnessed some customers being not so plesent about the wait in line before being served. I personally having worked in hospitality know how difficult it can be at busy times of the year and what is personally given up to provid for the public. But the service was still exemplary and the staff working hard to provide the same top notch service.

Went here twice on holiday. Staff are super friendly and helpful and cheery. Very clean store as well.

Love Costa coffee, but food prices very steep. One small Bakewell tart for same price as 6 Mr Kipling s.

Great tasty food for a midday snack in pleasant cool surroundings. This is on Floor 1 of John Lewis so a convenient place if you're shopping there.

We visit regularly and have the same drive thur order. The issue we have is the amount of coffee you get varies do much on each order. For a large cappuccino the coffee is often below half a cup.

Staff ok. But not very tidy or clean coffee had a bad taste as if coffee maker hadn't been cleaned properly.

So me and my partner came in for a coffee and cafe, while paying I forgot my bank card so my partner had to pay but had to transfer money out of the savings account, josh who served us was very rude to us, and was just in a rush to get to the next person in line. Customer service is terrible

We always love a costa coffee and cake. Plenty of room inside and outside seating too. Plenty of cakes to choose from along with sandwiches and biscuits.

Called here a couple of times last week for coffee and a hot sandwich. I have a mobility scooter so I like to sit outside to keep an eye on it. On every occasion that I visited Costa the staff brought out not only my drink but also my sandwich when it was ready, well done.

No queues. Sat outside by dog bowl. Really friendly lad served me, was nice to be greeted with a smile. Had a decaff mocha and a chocolate frappe. Both were made correctly. Good milk consistency and chocolate in mocha not over powering. Highly rrcommend a visit for a decent cuppa.

From being served. It felt that I wasn't really being paid attention to. However the order came correct. But in cardboard cups. I asked why the drinks weren't in normal cups. And the response was " I didn't know that's what you wanted" so I said isn't it standard to even at least ask sitting in or takeaway?? And to ask if chocolate sprinkles were required being cappuccinos. So service was poor and attention to the customer was poor. I would return however. If I know the staff have been retrained or seen to. I visit costas all over norfolk. And this is in the bottom 2.

Used to go for coffee & bacon roll most days before work, but stopped going as never had any bacon rolls when I went in. Thought I would treat myself today after 1 year of not going, but again no bacon rolls!!! Coffee was like water also won't be going again.

Rather small and they turned off the A/C when we asked because it was tooooo cold. Coffee and the Caramel Frappe were both top notch. Much nicer than the generic formica table cafés in Hunstanton.....

The staff were friendly and the place was clean. They did not warm the cups before adding the coffee so the coffee was not very hot.

We popped in for cappuccino on a very busy first Sunday of 2022. The service was prompt, the drink was excellent and the whole experience will make me return again on our next visit.

I found this shop to be open on Boxing Day and thought we would have a coffee but was appaulled to find the staff member unhelpful and making ridiculous excuse for not having the awning out as we would have sat outside on table provided had they been under the awning and to keep dry from the rain. Instead I received a poor excuse about wind that did not exist. This is not Costa coffee normal service and this staff need retraining or replacing.

I'm sorry, but customer service, attention to detail, friendliness and a welcoming team is far from apparent at this store. Apparently so is a lack of basic common sense and sensibility!! I'm massively concerned and shocked that a barista tried to pour warm water from the hand tap (after running maybe 10 seconds) into my baby formula bottle, instead of clean boiling water from the kettle!! When I told her that could kill someone from legionaries the blank look and absolutely no reply was the icing on the cake! Second poor service of the day, after already visiting mid sea life visit for lunch, to have another clueless individual serving us, having spilled half the toasted sandwich contents when she walked about 8 feet to the plate twice instead of bringing the plate to the oven. Honestly, not sure how these people get jobs and more worrying, do management not see this but accept it? I will certainly not be back, worst ever visit to Costa which I usually love.

But disappointed with the coffee maybe I should have paid for the better beans.

I used to like this place mainly because it opened early. Good for a coffee and bacon roll before work. However recently bacon rolls come out Luke warm, not hot. Disappointing. Staff usually great but on occasions new staff lazy and unresponsive to the better high class staff.

Shouldn't have bothered. The awning outside was filthy. Tables inside grubby, not cleared and so obviously not sanitised. Costa coffee has reached an all time low.

Slow service and got the order wrong

been here many times in the past. Visited Tuesday 4th Aug 2020. Wasnt busy ordered 2 cold dinks. Chap started preparing and put in the mixer and went out the back. he came back, the 3 people then started talking about what they were doing that night. 5 mins later imade a cough and the other chap said could he help. i said i am waiting for my drink which is sat in the blender machine. he quickly poured them, didnt offer a sorry

Found this coffee shop very strange. One member of staff was very rude about face masks and how we should wear and then his mates or regulars came in without and it was fine. We like them were staying in to drink. Maybe because it was early in the morning... But won't be returning again.

I went today but just couldn’t go in fag butts all over the pavement outside tables dirty and a dead pigeon just above the Costa sign was a nice touch but don’t know why but it put me of

the choices are many, the deals are great, and the staff go out of their way to help and being a wheelchair user this is very useful

Very poor customer service, hardly any interaction with the customer and warned it's 30 minutes until closing. I already knew the time only wanted a tea and cake almost made me feel like cancelling my order and going somewhere else!

Been coming here regularly since day 1, unfortunately the place has gone downhill, tables always mucky and full of used cups etc, staff seem to change quite regularly, never more than 2 staff on recently, cake display looks thrown together, however drinks are still nice....Terri is the best thing about this place currently...dont let her go!!

Waited twenty minutes to get served to order 2 x Hot Chocolates for them to taste of awful as couldn't taste the Hot Chocolate. Shame. Got a refund though with no questions asked.

It is just another Costa Coffee! If you look opposite to the local cafe, you will find better coffee and a friendlier service.

This is our go to place when in Hunstanton. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are always polite and quick to serve you. Well recommend this place.

Just walked back from Hunstanton on the front and thought I'd get an ice cold caramel latte. Went into the Costa at the sea world . Asked for a promo ,3'25 ,sorry we don't sell those but there up on the price board we only have these at 3,55 ,so why have you got them up there. Paid for larger one .then got passed an hot latte . No I didn't ask for a hot one . So he made me a cold with big lumps of ice in and when I got out and started walking back there was no caramel in also . I have been in the Costa on the high st and they were 100 percent better and staff a lot better , won't be calling back in to the one one the beach😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

I have already visited lots of Costa cafes around England. This one took me by surprise because it was not cramped into the small space as usual Costa does. There were lots of room for the tables and to go around. The whole atmosphere was just sunny as it must be in the resort. I ordered my much loved Latte and a raspberry muffin which were deliciously consumed. Thanks to the lovely staff who keep the cafe clean.

My wife and I went to this Costa outlet, for a relaxing coffee drinks on a Saturday afternoon, to our shock was to see how unhygienic were the Barristas working there, Including one was filing her nails while taking orders and chatting up to stuff meantime. We were really disgusted by what we have witness, and if we ever go back to Stantanton, for whatever reason, Costa won't be on our list of places to visit for sure.

Flat white was like dish water and the cafe is far too small to be a relaxing environment. Many cafes seem to have an issue with flat whites but I expected more from Costa.

Always messy / sticky tables cramped and not very relaxing environment . very dirty surroundings and behind the counter where food and drinks are prepared , not very encouraging . Toilets smell like urinals .

I went into costa today and was accompanied by a rude member of staff, swearing and slagging of his coworkers. Was rude to me and my family. The other one was quiet and was a little more polite but the one called Zak was swearing and rude and slagging off his other coworkers in front of me. Very unprofessional and made me feel very cross.
