A very discreet place serving wonderful home cooked cakes (it does other food but we were there for the cake). I'm not sure if everything was vegan but I think so. I'm not a vegan btw. Our host (Raf - sorry if I've got that wrong) was very friendly & welcoming.

A friend had seen the Emmaus charity shop on instagram and was keen to visit as there was 15 rooms to explore. As the website stayed there was a cafe we arrived in time for lunch. Although the indoor space is compact there is a covered area and a lovely little garden to sit in weather permitting. Good menu choice of panini and jacket potatoes and an extensive drinks menu . We had panini and coffee and after looking around the charity shop we went back and had coffee and cake. All the food was delicious and well presented and we thought reasonably priced. The pomegranate and orange cake was extremely nice and would recommend. The thing that stood out the most was that all the people we met from the cafe to the charity store were so friendly and went out of their way to help you. If you have mobility issues there is disabled parking right outside the shop ( up the hill from the main carpark) and at the cafe there are some steps but you also go around the back a bit and get to the car park that way. Overall we were very impressed with the shop and cafe and the fact it was all for such a good cause was a bonus.

Beautiful breakfast and very tasty, asked for a fresh orange juice but what arrived was a squash or very watery juice…but apart from that it was lovely and will return. Great customer service too, very attentive.

This is a friendly, cosy little cafe. The espresso coffee is particularly good, as are the home-made cakes. There's a varied menu that caters for vegetarians, vegans and people with gluten intolerance.

Very expensive food considering the quality £24 for lamb course that was overcooked and dry £22 for chicken/prawn course, chicken also very overcooked and dry Lady serving was nice enough, but kept being snappy with colleague which was unprofessional Nice garden area, enjoyable place to sit in the sun

Came for Sunday lunch today. Not sure we'd go back though . Food was nice but very slow service between starters and main. And so cold in there that we kept our coats on. Shame as we were really looking forward to trying it. Perhaps a summer visit would be better and more choice on menu other than roasts. Maybe.......

It’s closed in a permenant basis , the caravan park behind has been converted to holiday lodges . Sadly it a victim of Covid and possible over of Haddiscoe But the Bell in , about 3 miles away remains , that’s really nice
