Hungry Cat Cafe Vegan Cafe in South Norfolk

A very discreet place serving wonderful home cooked cakes (it does other food but we were there for the cake). I'm not sure if everything was vegan but I think so. I'm not a vegan btw. Our host (Raf - sorry if I've got that wrong) was very friendly & welcoming.

Had been meaning to try this cafe for ages and really enjoyed my visit. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful owner and a nice selection of vegan/veggie meals. We had the spinach and feta pie which was delicious, very generous portion with a large salad. Will certainly return!

What a beautiful quaint hidden gem in a pleasant town in Norfolk . Fresh homemade food , full of flavour and goodness . Best Coffee in Harleston ( and there’s a few competitors in the town ) . Warm welcome received on arrival . Prompt service . After something savoury we had to try one of the delicious 😍 Cakes available - The lotus bisoff cake was amazing!!! Would recommend as somewhere to dine within opening times .thank you hungry cat 🐈‍⬛ ❤️

I Love this place! Delicious food and drinks, and I always buy a bag of goodies to take home, as they stock a great range of grocery essentials and treats! Food is original ( the owner has written a cookery book) and everything is 100% vegan. So pleased that a small market Norfolk town has this gem.

Absolutely gorgeous fresh flavoursome healthy bangin food . 10 star rating doesn’t do this place justice - if you want to enjoy amazing kind food with a great vibe this is the place to come . The owner is the perfect host . This is our favourite go to 💚🌱 you won’t be disappointed

The food and selection is excellent, along with friendly, informed service. Although not vegans, we were spoiled for choice and had a wonderful lunch, leaving totally full. Recommended regardless of your dietary tastes.

It’s just a perfect cafe. Great menu, superb staff, lovely atmosphere. Toon my two kids there today and there was not a bit of food left at the end! Wether you are vegan or not, just go and enjoy the food. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

We’re not local so hadn’t stumbled across here before, but we’ll definitely be coming back! There’s a huge range of food, we had ‘chicken’ burgers with a gorgeous, fresh salad. My partner has been vegan for only a couple of years so is able to compare vegan food to meat, and said you couldn’t tell the difference - so would recommend no matter your diet! We also had some delicious a winter themed lattes. The cafe is stocked with so many vegan and gluten free goodies, we went away with quite the selection! Moreover, the owner was so friendly, warm and welcoming!

Popped in today for coffee an americano and a cappuccino. Was served promptly and with great hot coffee. This establishment has lots of food items within which are probably difficult to find in a supermarket, therefore fills a missing niche. I will certainly return and my husband enjoyed his liquorice.

This centrally-positioned café is ENTIRELY vegan - and does a great range of vegan cakes. Their coffee & walnut cake is a real delight! And it's very reasonably-priced.

We chanced upon this delightful cafe serving dairy free and vegan meals. The coffee made with oat milk tasted like dairy and the two cakes we had were delicious. Our Labrador was impressed that he was given a treat. The owner was very hospitable and welcoming. I would recommend a visit.

There are many reasons to visit the lovely Suffolk village of Harleston ,....passing through , I was not expecting a delicious Baklava and coffee from the charming Greek owner....wonderful Levantine pit stop

Although I’m not vegan I love this type of food . Nice to have a cafe in town with healthy options . Owner really lovely too . Yesterday we had the sweet potato falafel wrap with a wonderful side salad and dressing and it was delicious . Also love the oat milk cappuccino ! Great little shop too . My new favourite place to go !

This is a really great cafe to sit in and watch the world go by (albeit slowly - it's Norfolk). The owner Raz offers a warm welcome. There is a strong Mediterranean influence both in the food and the atmosphere. The spinach & feta pie is excellent as are all the cakes, especially the baklava. The coffee is top quality, and although I'm not vegan I would recommend the oatmilk cappuccino.

Firstly thank you to the owner of this lovely quaint cafe for providing delicious vegan food to inspire both the carnivore and herbivore! The cafe is friendly, and has a nice atmosphere. It's good value for money with quality products. I wish I had tried the cake but was too full so will return.

Lovely veg soup and it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend. I hear the carrot cake is also amazing. Give it a go!

My elderly neighbour and I stumbled across this place by accident when looking for somewhere to have coffee and cake. We had no idea it was vegan. But once I’d sat down I realised and I’m ashamed to say i Was going to go. However...

Went there for lunch, fabulous food, friendly service. Vegan food at its very best, we had the mock hosin duck wrap and the Jackfruit burger which were fabulous.

I never thought that I would describe vegan food as full of flavour, but this café provides it in abundance. A really excellent place to have lunch.

We called in for morning break. The coffee (with oat milk) was excellent and the cake was delicious. Friendly staff were helpful and efficient. Will definitely visit again.

What a treat awaits in Harleston, especially for vegetarian diners. Hungry Cat burger is a real delicacy and so many delicious cakes.

Decaf almond mocha here is delicious. The falafel wraps tickle your tastebuds too. Been here several times and never disappointed. Only thing they could do with is more staff at busy times. Lovely gem in Harleston

We came across this delightful cafe on a recent visit to Harleston. We tested it out with hot drinks in the morning and as we were staying in the town, we happily returned for an evening meal the same day. Our daughter is vegan but...

Mum and I have eaten in here twice recently and love it. Friendly service, very clean and a good range of delicious food. We are not vegan but very much enjoy vegan food and they do it brilliantly here. We will be visiting regularly.
