It’s closed in a permenant basis , the caravan park behind has been converted to holiday lodges . Sadly it a victim of Covid and possible over of Haddiscoe But the Bell in , about 3 miles away remains , that’s really nice

You get a friendly welcome from the staff, well kept beer and good food. Sunday carveries are crowded so pick your time, but reasonably priced and delicious. Obviously closed at time of writing this but currently doing take away three nights a week and we had the fish and chips which was lovely.

Taken here for carvery (family celebration / get together). The food was very good and the staff were lovely. I was surprised how busy it was. If you like a nice carvery its worth a try.

Fell in love with the Norfolk Broads 9 months ago and can’t stop coming back. Now we have found this tavern we have our Sunday lunches sorted! The carvery is great. Lovely food, plenty of choices, crunchy veg, super gravy and yummy desserts. All great value and friendly staff. What more could you want.

Friendly warm welcome. Basic carvery with extra bits and bobs. Spiced red cabbage, mash and luscious gravy make this lunch special. The meat is always moist, tender and tasty

went to this pub as it was close by where we had been working hadn't visited the pub for many years. The welcome was warm and friendly there were several families in the bar presumably from the caravan park at the back, but there was plenty of space for them not feel like they were a nuisance, (if you don't happen to like other peoples children) The beer was excellent a good range of choice on tap (didn't look at the bottled selection and no idea of the wine menu). The food was well presented and well cooked and very tasty. WE were a group of five very hungry adults and our choice from the menu ranged from fish and chips, lasagne and burgers and we pretty much cleared our plates, and there was plenty of food on them. Would highly recommend this place as an excellent pub grub restaurant excellent prices both for the beer and the food.

We took our granddaughter for the first afternoon tea . Really great value .this is served between 12 and 3. There were 3 types sandwiches and 2 types of. Scones with cream and 3 lovely cakes, with refills of the teapot. We stay on the camp site behind the tavern and we also ate on the fish and chip Friday and Sunday carvery. All generous portions and good value. The landlord and lady are very welcoming

I often stay on the caravan park behind this pub. The food is exceptionally good and so is the service. Value for money always particularly the Sunday carvery. Generous portions of meat and good selection of vegetables. Good range of beers and wines. Happy to reccomended at the highest level. I look forward to my next visit.

One of the very best places to eat in Norfolk excellent food ,service and value. It's a really shame they don't serve alcohol. A glass of red wine would have gone down a treat with a beef pangang curry

A Roasting Good Time This little pub is a hidden gem. Their roast dinner is the stuff of legends. The meat is cooked to perfection, the veggies are spot on, and the Yorkshire pudding is fluffy and golden. The gravy? Divine. If you're a fan of a good roast, this is the place to be.

Such a wonderful place. The cakes and pastries are absolutely top notch. Also, usually find it difficult to get decent coffee in this country, but the coffee in Teles Patisserie is so good, really rich and flavoursome. Realky friendly people too. I'd fully recommend a visit.

My first time back for 6 years when Carorline still used to serve the "Naughty breakfast" in their old premises across the road. Now replaced by 3 others which includes the "Large breakfast "which is a feast. Consistent quality over three visits in a fortnight & a lovely warm welcome every time. Worth a trip all the way from Africa.

Dreadful ‘brunch’ experience Extremely poor customer service, one menu for 3 people, lack of interaction and information with a misleading menu. States they had a ploughman’s sausage roll which when we order we were told it wasn’t available. No signs as to what the cakes were, asked, the one we wanted although there were some on display were then ‘unavailable’ Ordered 2 diet cokes as husband is insulin controlled diabetic, 2 large glasses of coke arrived, I took a sip, and questioned what coke it was to be told she had indeed served us ‘normal’ coke….potentially very dangerous!! When the diet cokes then did arrive they were half the size of the original ones… There was also no ice. Cheese scone ordered, arrived dry and solid. There were only 3 other people in the cafe besides us 3, and we waited a ridiculous amount of time for food and drinks. When the toastee arrived rather than walk an extra few steps she lent over the banister, and 2 of our party to pass to me at the far end of the table when she could of just walked round and put it down in front of me. Overpriced and food disappointing compared to other local cafe’s. This was the first time we had visited and it will most definitely be the last. Give this terrible establishment a very wide berth!
