Great pub with excellent staff friendly locals and in a great location with a large green opposite, Welcomed our Husky after his walk on the green , had a live band in the evening unfortunately a little to late for our visit . Will definitely return when visiting Diss again in the future.

We love to pop in here for Sunday lunch. The service has always been warm and friendly when we've been. The menu has a wide choice for such a small pub. The roast was beautifully presented, with a wide variety of delicious vegetables and a huge Yorkshire pudding, and extra gravy. The only thing I didn't enjoy were the roast potatoes; but then I have yet to find a pub that makes good roasties. They need to be smaller, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. I had the pecan tart for pudding, which was delicious, served with caramel ice cream. Just lovely.

Wow! Just wow, from service to food preparation to making a double birthday celebration one to remember cannot thank staff front of house and hard working chefs that make the magic happen enough! My Dad suffered a stroke a couple of years ago and eating out can be difficult. Thank you to the kitchen staff that pre cut the food my Dad ordered from the menu so he could enjoy his meal and not feel overwhelmed. It might not seem like much but that one small thing to some in a very busy environment was so appreciated. You are all amazing! Definitely coming back to see you!
