Food was lovely and the staff very friendly, just what you want when you need a break and to relax. Been here a number of times over the years and always felt welcome.

We were a party of 10 celebrating joint 90th and 99th family birthdays for Sunday lunch. Nothing can be faulted from the excellent service to the piping hot food served promptly even though there was another very large celebration being catered for in the function room. A Happy Birthday banner and balloons had been put across the back of our table and the fact that we took our own cakes was accommodated without question, photo's taken and birthday greeting sung by the staff who even facilitated moving tables in the garden to allow us to park closer to the entrance for ease of the occupants of the car. A truly outstanding pub!

Disappointing sums it up. Ordered a falafel salad with hummus and couscous. Didn’t realise until almost finished that there was no couscous in it. Mentioned it when paying, but no deduction made. Falafel portion size was pretty small. Service, very, very, slow. Food expensive (and not as advertised). Coffee ok, no better. There were signs up saying they were short of staff, asking for patience. But if things are that bad, close off some of the tables and serve everyone what they ordered? In a more reasonable time?

Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms nice and comfortable. Service both in bar and restaurant slow .. Thought there might be more to see in Crawfordsburn but Bangor is near . Extremely expensive for food and drink especially when converting euro to sterling..

We popped in to 'Nuts' for our breakfast, having travelled to be with family. We had no prior knowledge of the Bistro and were impressed with the cleanliness and service. Ordering a much needed 'Full English', but with one strictly gluten-free, we were presented with heaven on a plate - the best full English we've had in many a year. Cooked perfectly and presented well, it even had a choice of black pudding - down in the South that's a rarity. None of your bland pudding, this was a very tasty product! A pleasure to visit and eat in, you won't be disappointed.

We were here for Mother’s Day and what a beautiful day it was We’re not your average family when it comes to food…. One has a coeliac condition One has a coeliac and dairy condition But this did not faze the kitchen We had an amazing time here thanks to your lovely staff The afternoon tea went down a storm for our two family members as usually it can be difficult to accommodate but not here I think the extra care and attention was particularly my favourite bit as you made us feel special The lovely chef came and delivered a beautifully put together slate of gluten and dairy free items .He then explained each item so both family members felt comfortable about their food of which they both thoroughly enjoyed Two of us also had normal afternoon tea and it was lovely The service on the day was great also with lovely and friendly staff Thankyou so very much You’re a great team

We called in at 12.30 requesting scones jam and cream from the menu, they said they had no cream so we had just jam and butter but were charged the same as if we’d had cream. We were given just one pat of butter for a larger than average scone. The scones tasted as if they had been stored with onions! Tea cups were dirty and we had to ask for them to be replaced. The tea was ridiculously strong and we had to ask for boiling water. They really need to up their game sadly.

This café used to serve amazingly good food but now only seems to sell cakes and pre-packed sandwiches which you can get from anywhere what's happened?

A friend of mine recommended trying out the Sunday Roast and we were extremely surprised how good it was. The restaurant bar area looks fantastic, the food was delicious and the staff were great and so friendly. They have themed nights so will be booking again soon.
