First time coming here with a friend and the food was so nice! Pricing was decent, we both had puddings too and she had a side. All came to £39. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely service and staff. Helped us with a small christening celebration.

Amazing service throughout , at very short notice accommodated a Sunday roast for our party of 35 people. With only 2 staff in attendance they managed to provide a flawless to our group and maintain the bar, cannot thank them enough

Ate here a few months back. Food was delicious, we had paninis but unfortunately the smell of the place was over powering and off putting so would not go back. It stank of damp the moment we walked in - hope they manage to fix this because it really made enjoying their lovely food very hard!

Absolutely amazing little place to visit and enjoy in Ramsey the staff are always so welcoming with beautiful smiles and great service, a good variety of drinks and the food is fresh, well presented and so tasty.... A perfect spot on a sunny day with a beautiful garden to enjoy or a cosy evening with glass of wine on a comfortable sofa practically perfect always in my opinion

Nice drinks and great bar staff, very difficult to contact to make a restaurant booking though, no email address and a constantly filled up answer phone recorder, so good luck booking a table, strangely enough the restaurant is never very busy

Moved to the area about a year ago, decided to try The Ale House for Sunday roast Lunch. What a hidden gem. Service and food was fantastic. Will definitely use again

Visited here last night, with friends - to try out their burger promotion. 6 of us had the Burger and a pint - for £10, whilst one of us had "Burger of the week" The place was busy with a couple of large groups already - but the staff coped really well. The food came out a short time after we ordered, and we were impressed with it all. We all chose side orders (highly recommend the dirty fries) Some of the group also had room for desserts, with the sticky toffee pudding looking amazing, as did the hot chocolate pudding. There is always a good selection of beers available here, and the addition of these burgers to the menu will definitely see us coming back to try the different ones out. Nice one team - we really enjoyed our visit!

A lovely friendly welcome from the staff, have been for sunday lunch twice now, food was very good on both occasions, well cooked and hot when served. Good portion sizes too,the desserts were delicious too.. if not a slight indulgence on.my part lol Overall definitely worth 4 1/2 ⭐'s ..

Me and my partner frequent the ale house for the friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and phenomenonal selection of unique spirits. They are also dog friendly and the dog loves a trip to the ale house too :)

FANTASTIC FOOD and Excellent service.

We ate here last night to celebrate a special occasion we had a nice main only to be told they weren't doing any kind of desserts. Which was a massive disappointment if they would have told us before hand we would have choosen some where else . We asked for a coffee but the machine was broken. You should be telling peole you can't serve them a proper meal rather then waiting to the end when theres nothing to be done

Having not been to The Ale House in over a year it was amazing to see the work they have done outside to make a social seating area- perfect for the lock down restrictions lifting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, in particular Gabby who told us it was her first day. You wouldn’t have known as she was very organised and couldn’t do enough for us. We had food off of the bar snacks menu which came out quickly and was very tasty. I’ll definitely be back in the bit too distant future!

Went to the Ale House tonight with my son. Lovely Scotch egg as a starter and the Steak and Guinness pie was delightful. Unable to try a dessert as we were both full. Nice surrounds and good social distancing in the dining area.

Stopped for lunch although very quiet had a superb lunch . Staff very friendly and welcoming good choice of real ale will definitely return . Fillet steak was cooked exactly to my liking.

First visit for me and what a lovely place this is.. very friendly bar staff on arrival.. we were shown to our table and given menus.. a fairly limited menu but some thing on there for all of our party of 4.. we decided against starters and went straight for mains.. both the men went for the homemade steak and ale pie with chips and veg.. 1x liver and bacon with mash and veg and 1x lemon sole with veg. These guys can cook it really was one of the best meals I have had locally in a very long time.. 3 of us then went for sticky toffee pudding.. 1 with cream 1 with custard and 1 with ice cream all excellent.. the waiting staff were knowledgeable. Friendly and very efficient. The pub was well decorated throughout all in all and lovely evening we will definitely be back.

Bar staff were uninterested in serving me. The roast beef was awful, it was like chewing a swim cap. Our waitress was great, desserts were delicious.

Great place and really good value. We have been quite a few times now, including our works Christmas dinner. Can't fault it and it's a great addition to Ramsey.

We experienced excellent service from the waitress who was chatty and friendly and the food was well presented and was of a high standard. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated and well laid out and our table offered a good degree of privacy. The menu was varied. This is a local restaurant as we all live nearby and we would definitely go there again.

Food as always very good except that steak's could be served as the paying customers would prefer also the waitering staff was too put upon as they were on their own so therefore their time was limited to each table

The Ale House has an excellent reputation in Ramsey. The staff are friendly and prompt, the restaurant and toilets are clean, the food is delicious and service is good. If you want an all round great pub restaurant experience pop in and see for yourself!

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening without a booking and were warmly welcomed, advised that food orders would be slightly delayed because there was a large party booked to arrive.The service was attentive, the menu selection was good and offered a variety of vegetarian choices.The food arrived in good time, well presented hot and fresh from the kitchen.Restaurant and bar are clean and tidy. The establishment and staff overall are at a high standard and based on our experience are happy to recommend The Ale House Kitchen in Ramsey as a great place to stop by for a bite to eat or sociable drinks.

Went as a party of six on a quiet Tuesday night, all had starters and mains. Meals were good quality and value for money. Portions were good and drink prices reasonable. The two waitresses who dealt with us were excellent throughout the service. Would definitely return.

Attended a wake at this pub which was sad but the drinks the food and the staff were excellent very friendly. Would go back but hopefully for a nicer occasion.

Yesterday I attended with a party of twenty for a Christmas celebration. The meals were well presented and of a very good quality. The staff were superb - very patient with those of us who had forgotten what we had ordered, they kept the table clear and regularly refreshed our drinks. A good time was had by all and I shall be booking the venue for next year.

We had booked for a Christmas party for 21 people. The staff did a great job serving a rather rowdy group of ladies. The crackers provided we’re better than the average for this type of meal. The food was delicious especially the Lemon Posset and all served with a smile. Thank you very much for a great time.

Had our annual aquafit dinner today. Bit disapointed. Girls serving were very good and helpful. Would say meal average. Not impressed with vege. But most annoying thing, were turned out at 3pm. Despite wanting to stay for mo re drinks/ socialising. But, never mind, went across to Angel where made most welcome!

Very good meal, salmon starter,and lovely roast beef, staff polite , will be going again, I would give it five stars but didn't have pudding, service was good but slow and we had to be somewhere

First visit with friends...lovely decor, Beef roast with REAL Yorkshire puds...REAL roast potatoes...none of those frozen things! Real gravy...a m a z I n g. Cheesecake..again gorgeous soft base and heavy clarty cheesecake 10/10 ...service a bit slow but they were very very busy DEFINITELY be back

We were in town visiting our family and chose here to get dinner. We were greeted at the door where they took our drink order and then shown to our table. The service was typical for British restaurants, not super fast but not slow either. I ordered the ribs and they were very meaty and flavored well. We opted for desert and they were tasty.

As always food wonderful as are all the staff. Thank you for making my brother's 50th such a lovely afternoon.

We came here for a nice meal on a Sunday when they run their roast menu. Unfortunately one of the children with us didn't eat roast dinners but they were very accommodating at short notice and provided us with chicken nuggets, beans and chips.

Fantastic food, brilliant service with really great staff. The team were friendly, attentive and made us so welcome. Highly recommended!

My advice would be don’t bother!

First time and wasn’t disappointed such amazing food steak was cooked perfectly and desert was so nice as well , staff very nice and always checking to see if everything was ok.

We met a friend that we see twice a year and decided to go to the ale house kitchen for lunch. This proved to be a good choice and was a new place for our friend

My friend and I visited the Ale House on a Friday evening for dinner. We were shocked that it was so full considering the location! You’ve clearly built up an excellent client base, which after tasting the food I can understand.

Myself and friends went for Sunday lunch for my wife's birthday. The menu doesn't have many options but I like this as otherwise you have a hard choice deciding what to have. We each ordered a starter, I had the parfait and then for the mains we asked if they could do a selection of the main roast meats rather than just a single option, they happily obliged so I ordered the lamb and the gammon. The starter came and was a healthy two chunks of parfait with warm olive bread and chutney. Very tasty! The others on my table had the brie bites which also were a healthy size and they said was really good. Onto the mains... A huge Yorkshire pudding dominated the large plate with 4 big roasties and 3 slices of lamb and 3 slices of gammon. As there was 6 of us two large bowls came with the veg (carrots, broccoli, parsnip, and cabbage), we had ordered one cauliflower cheese to share and also stuffing but the best part of all... masses of thick tasty gravy. The mains were huge, I have a big appetite but they even beat me, with enough room for dessert left of course. The desserts were ordered, we'd heard the sticky toffee pudding was amazing so that was ordered for the majority of the table but I had the baked cheesecake, prob a mistake the sticky toffee looked very very good and the confirmation from the table was just that. The cheesecake was nice but nothing amazing. We ordered drinks throughout the meal and the staff were very attentive but not over bearing. Service was just right with the amount of time between courses enough to not feel rushed but also not to be waiting too long.

Ramsey has a decent place to be fed and watered with attentive and friendly staff. Great food and wine list - the Gavi was delicious and reasonably priced. I visited for a double birthday celebration on a Saturday lunchtime - really really very good food - not a disappointed face around the table - just happy contented smiles!

Mrs G and I have seen many incarnations of The Ale House Kitchen. We had said many times we should pop in and see what the place is like now.

My partner and I went for Sunday lunch here today as we’ve heard many good things and thought we’d check it out. Safe to say it definitely lived up to their reputation! The beef was cooked to perfection by Olly in the kitchen and the waitresses and bar staff were so attentive and polite. Chloe and Amy made us feel so welcome upon arrival, which is lovely seeing as we are very new to the area. We had the 2 courses for £16.95 and it was more than enough for both of us, although we wish we had room to try more! With a good range of starters, mains and dessert it was hard to chose from! We even ended up taking some home it was that good! Could not recommend this place enough, will definitely be returning again to try some of their evening menu!

Had a lovely meal here to celebrate a birthday. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. It has a relaxed and ambient feel. We will definitely be back!

We were welcomed warmly and offered drinks straight away. After a while our food orders were taken. We were the only people eating but we waited 40 minutes for our meals. Just maybe, if the Menu was slightly less ambitious and varied, the food would not have taken so long to prepare. There were ingredients missing - unavailable or undelivered. We were with friends and so happy together but disappointed overall.

Visited here with friends (large group) yet again the food and service didnt disappoint, absolutely faultless... There was nothing that was too much trouble for the staff who went out of there way to ensure we felt special! The food was packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection (my ox cheek melted in my mouth - highly recommended)

Just had a really nice meal. Lots more stuff on the menu that looked good so ill be going back.

Took my sister and her husband for Sunday lunch. Could not fault quality of food but quantity very poor. Very large plate for to eat off of but no chance of filling plate with a small portion of brockley carrots and shredded cabage to be shared between 4 people. I can see now why we were offered extra vegetables at extra cost. Even small miserly amount of custard for sticky toffee pudding. Very costly would not visit again.

My second visit here, the first for a Sunday lunch. I chose the roast of the day which was Roast Chicken in garlic and thyme. it was delicious!!! Had the pate to start but not enough room for pudding as we had extra cauliflower cheese!

I visited today with my friends for a Sunday lunch after a friend recommended it as a nice change from a carvery.

Have never eaten here so cannot comment on the restaurant side of the place, but have had a drink here on a few occasions. You do pay slightly over the odds and occasionally have to keep your eye on what is being served as to what is being charged i.e small glass of wine charged at large glass price, but overall nice atmosphere, for a quiet drink at the end of the week

Came here for a spot of lunch midweek. What a lovely place. The service was brilliant and the food delicious! My husband had the house ale and very much enjoyed it. I of course had some gin and will need to check out the gin bar next door. We stayed for a few hours enjoying the good weather out on the patio. We will definately be returning and are excited to finally have somewhere local to bring our visiting friends and family to. See you soon!
