The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

What has happened to this place? I have been going here for a ninber of years and there has been a complete change in the staff. I now have to wait for approximately 20 minutes for 2 coffees. I am giving up on this place. I come to relax and enjoy a coffee, but I don't want to be annoyed by the wait to the point of it taking all the enjoyment out of the coffee.

Ordered the large breakfast which comes with toast & butter. I asked for bread & butter instead and was told….No substitutes!!!! I couldn’t persuade the lady to just supply the bread and by-pass the toaster.

We went to Princes as we have done for over 15 years. On arrival they weren’t very busy but was told the wait would be 20/25 mins. After 45 mins I was told it’s just coming, after an hour I chased again and was told it was just coming it would be 5 mins. The order was for a burger and chips and 2 ham and cheese toasties. A nice man who was clearing the tables gave me my money back but not all of it, he took the money back and didn’t return. I then went in and was met by the same person who said it the food would ve 20/25 mins and gave me my full refund and not even a sorry just a filthy look, I asked is that a sorry. I received not reply. I was polite through out, and even though only on Gt Yarmouth for the day for the @wheels festival to wait over an hour to get nothing is a big chunk of the day. Poor customer service, poor communication and the lady who had food on the next table left it and said it was awful. For years I have been a loyal customer, and this is how you are treated. I won’t be back!

I have visited with my Lunch Club on several occasions , quite a large group ( !4 or so ) on several occasions , and the service is excellent , the prices are very reasonable and food is great , A good choice is available , and staff are excellent coping with a group in a small area , with good service andd a smile . Would reccommend

Everything was great till we were about to go my wife visited the toilets which were absolutely disgusting were told by a staff member they were the old ones as they couldn't do everything this doesn't mean they should be dirty wont be going back in a hurry

This was a regular stop for their wonderful cakes and breakfasts. They had been advertising afternoon teas so we decided to treat ourselves just before going on holiday. We booked a few weeks in advance but when we arrived on the day we found the gates locked. We did see the owner leaving but he just said "we're closed - got no staff" and drove off. The whole garden center has been closed since and word is they went bankrupt. We feel really sorry for the wonderful staff and can only hope they found something else 😢

Desafortunadamente, excepto por la gente encantadora que trabaja allí y la ubicación conveniente para el parque científico, es un lugar realmente malo con algo de comida terrible. Tampoco muy barato. Desafortunadamente, el parque científico Cambridge es un lugar muy pobre sin casi instalaciones, por lo que incluso una mala cafetería estará ocupada a la hora del almuerzo. Muy triste... La administración del parque científico claramente no está calificada para el trabajo.

The coffee was nice. The prices were reasonable. The cakes looked nice and homemade but the buttercream was made with margerine and that flavour was foul. We all scraped the icing off our cake and just ate the sponge because we hadn't had lunch.

We found this by accident, on a midweek lunchtime. It's a lovely old pub with very friendly and attentive staff. We had the smoked salmon sandwich and the Steak and Kidney pie, both of which were excellent. I'll put this pub in my contacts for future visits

I visited the Deli for a quick bite to eat, I ordered the Spainish platter with the Manchego cheese selection and my fiancee the Lamb and Chicken Koftas...very good choices really tasty, a glass of Prosecco topped off our visit. Great food and service.

Visité la tienda Peterborough para el desayuno que hemos hecho muchas veces durante el último año. Decepcionado de lo cuesta abajo que ha ido el desayuno. Normalmente hemos podido cambiar cualquier artículo por una alternativa, ya que estamos pagando el precio completo después de todo. La mujer que servía dijo que solo podía intercambiar 2. Cuando llegaron los desayunos se estaban perdiendo cosas que ni siquiera me había quitado. La comida es tibia en el mejor de los casos. Huevos no cocinados. Desayunos muy caros y mucho mejores en los alrededores por menos dinero también.

Visited on a cold day and the inside was very warm and welcoming. The coffee is excellent - a large mug of tasty coffee at a very reasonable price. Very busy but quick efficient service - shame the staff don’t smile otherwise a great place to visit. Food looked nice too!

We were looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. The food lacked seasoning, and the greens arrived undressed. We had to move tables twice as they hadn’t been properly cleaned. We asked to sit in the sun but were told it wasn’t possible, as it would be too difficult for staff to manage different areas. When we gave feedback about the food, we were told the chef would be informed, but there was no follow-up, just dessert menus brought over. At the till, the coffees were taken off the bill, which we appreciated. However, the meal still felt greatly overpriced given the overall quality. The outdoor area needed attention—signage had bird droppings, and the patio and furniture could use a good clean(sweeping and power washing. If Milsoms are going to charge premium prices and market themselves as an upscale venue, then attention to detail really matters. We have no desire to return.

Unusual and beautiful building. typical spoons but in an old theatre. Well worth the visit.

Good location, not too busy and good food. Staff very friendly. Happy to recommend
