I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff of this pub. My teenage daughter was stranded and went to the pub for some help as her phone had also died. The staff there ( with very special thanks to Ellie) were so very kind to her. They comforted her and organised for her to get home safely. Can not thank them enough. Not only a wonderful pub but caring and brilliant staff who go above and beyond their duties. A total credit to our community!

Visited here for Sunday lunch to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary with family. Lovely warm welcome. The Sunday lunch was simply delicious. Plenty of fresh veg and the best lunch I have had out in a long while and so much of it! All the staff were so friendly and helpful and made it a really lovely afternoon. Would highly recommend the Sunday lunch and would most definitely return in the very near future. Very family friendly and great relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Green Dragon staff and see you again real soon!

We called in here as the M25 (both directions) was gridlocked. It wasn’t a busy time but we couldn’t find a space in the Car Park (which we found a bit odd). We did find somewhere to park close by. It’s a bit quirky. For example, they have outside seating and seemed to have cornered the market in second hand leather sofas. We could see the idea behind it but it doesn’t quite work for us. So we sat at some home made wooden tables with seats. We gathered that it was taken over by new Owners in 2018. They served a decent range of Beers/Lagers and the interior didn’t looked it had changed in 40 years which was actually quite nice from an authentic Pub point of view. They service food which seemed quite popular but can’t comment on this as we just had a couple of drinks. It did look like it could get a bit raucous but we might be wrong. It served a purpose and are unlikely to return again.

Love this little pub and it was starting to become a regular place for us to visit. Today, I’m not so sure, listening to the two girls behind the bar discussing their night out constantly swearing loud enough for all the pub to hear, I think is unprofessional and really lowers the tone of what could be a lovely little pub. Will probably think twice before coming here again, shame.

Went into The Dragon for a drink and a meal, just to get out for a while, bearing in mind we are in tier 2 lockdown there were 2 large groups of people having Christmas parties and other groups of people clearly breaking lockdown rules. The language coming from one of the groups who seemed to be related to the landlady was foul ( repeatedly using the “c” word) had my dinner and a pint but couldn’t wait to get out of there. I appreciate pubs are trying to recoup their losses but they’re not helping themselves really by allowing this. The food was surprisingly tasty seeing as it was only being served to allow people in to drink but apart from that not a pleasant experience

Mid-afternoon visit for drinks to this friendly pub catering for families, groups of friends and locals. Liked the range of real ales to choose from as well as standard pumped beers and enjoyable chilled wines for the ladies. Sports TV and pool table.

Not sure where to start really. The music was so loud we couldn't even speak to each other, we had to yell. The halloumi sticks were so burnt we thought they were black pudding slices. The macaroni cheese had a rock hard lump of pasta with black bits in it. The rest of the Mac and cheese was edible. The chips weren't triple cooked they were like bits of splintered wood. We eat what we could because we were hungry. The service wasn't really great either - we couldn't get out of there quick enough suffice to say that we won't be back.

Two of us called into this pub for a drink. It was very noisy and half full with mainly elderly customers, most of whom were looking at international cricket on the pub TV. We ordered a glass of wine and a bottle of sparkling water. They were out of stock of the sparkling water and Soda water was offered instead. Running out of something so basic ---- does that suggest something about the management of this pub?????

The Dragon is now an extremely friendly pub with an American themed menu in the restaurant. A group of us visited last Friday, primarily to watch the racing and we couldn’t believe how well we were looked after. We were given a lovely selection of food throughout the afternoon, at no cost and we never needed to go to the bar there was always someone on hand checking if we needed any drinks. Two of us returned on Monday evening with our wives to try the restaurant. We were not disappointed! We had a couple of drinks in the bar first, which had a very friendly atmosphere (and lovely garlic bread handed out). The food in the restaurant was excellent. Ribs, burgers, chicken wings and a chicken wrap were our choices. There was also a decent selection of specials on a board. All served piping hot with a choice of side dishes. The portions are very genourous and everyone that served us did it with a smile and a genuine interest as to whether everything was ok. Prices were very fair as well. I was told by others that the Sunday lunch is excellent, we will try that soon! Thank you to everyone at the Dragon. We look forward to becoming regulars in our revitalised local!!
