The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Midlands

Friendly and place is decorated brilliantly but very disappointed in the food choice for lactose intolerance. No cake choice at all if you are lactose free so only able to have a drink. They do soya milk.I'd have thought a place like this would cater for all as it is a family cafe.

Went for a meal with my family after a shopping trip at east midlands outlet. Ordered the lasagne and sorry to say but It was extremely disappointing, It was overcooked and bone dry. I took my meal up to the bar and explained that I couldn't eat it as it was dry with hardly any sauce only to be greeted by the landlady who approached me in a rude manner and said "it shouldn't be dry, I put two jars of sauce in it" not knowing what to say, I just apologised and continued to explain how I couldn't eat it due to it being dry, the landlady then shrugged and offered me my money back. When she came to the table to give me my money she continued to be defensive and insisted the food wasn't dry because she puts two jars of sauce in and she hardly ever gets any complaints regarding the food. Feeling really uncomfortable and awkward I just said it must be overcooked as all I could taste was pasta and cheese. Found the landlady really rude and defensive when she could have just apologised and rectified the situation. Safe to say we won't be returning didn't feel welcome at all.

I enjoyed breakfast in Tesco cafe but sometimes slow service ..food is good and fresh..love the coffee Thanks..recommended

Great Costa, good seating area and the usual excellent coffee. The food is alwyas good and a reasonable view from the seating area.

Went there with our friends Doc and Jan, for lunch, and what a smashing place nice old beams a real fire great surroundings, a nice menu for all tastes, nice range of beers lagers, and some good wines, attentive staff a friendly atmosphere, will go again when we visit friends in Walcott near lutterworth 😎👍

Called for a coffee, no please or thank you from either of the people working in there! Have they not heard of customer service, somebody needs to teach them some manners, my 2 year old grandson has better manners, give it a miss here😡

Have visited the cafe many times. always had great a experience. We order cakes from time to time to have at home, always the best quality and great prices. next on the list is to have the afternoon tea which looks amazing. can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food. Dave Nutt.

We visited Willow Springs cafe and soft play regularly prior to lockdown, and this was our first visit since they re-opened. The new outdoor play area is a breath of fresh air for families desperate to let their kids get back to normal - a clean, safe space for children to play whilst parents can enjoy a drink at the spaced tables. Staff were really friendly and we had a great time. Will definitely be returning!

The food is good here, the staff pleasant and helpful. A good place to stop off for lunch or a quick snack. Would recommend to others.

Bar staff really accommodating and friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. Ordered six meals. Food mmmmmhhh had a lot better from boathouse and lookout on the front. (These places also cheaper). Asked for a salad instead of garlic bread. When food bought to table there was a poor salad garnish and garlic bread. Explained did not want the bread but more salad. Meal bought back to table with a slice of onion, two slices tomato, and a lettuce slice. When I pointed this out was told this is what you get!!!. Risotto very watery. Are the mashed potatoes in fact smash, please comment, pie ok but chips and gravy lukewarm, chilli and rice adequate, but nothing to go wild about. Would not eat there again as on the whole food poor and for what you get very pricey, but would go for a drink especially with the bar staff being so obliging and friendly. Couple sitting on the next table said food very substandard, before we ordered, but decided to give food a go, but to be honest wished we had not.

Con eventos de caridad locales regulares y apoyando a los lugareños, todo lo que hacen es intentar ser un mejor activo en la comunidad. El equipo es cálido y amable, y te hacen sentir bienvenido ya sea un habitual o un novato. Ofrecen un menú excelente con ingredientes recién hechos y la cena del día de Navidad es muy recomendable.

We have visited this place many times. The staff are absolutely lovely, friendly, welcoming and warm. The food is cooked freshly to order and is always delicious. The cafe is always clean, the staff attentive and they play great 80's music!

Loud, annoying and irritating barmaid promised me a drink and even said it was 'on the house' yet she was never to be seen again, shocking appalling and frankly disgraceful service from the worst pub in town. STEER CLEAR
