Bar staff really accommodating and friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. Ordered six meals. Food mmmmmhhh had a lot better from boathouse and lookout on the front. (These places also cheaper). Asked for a salad instead of garlic bread. When food bought to table there was a poor salad garnish and garlic bread. Explained did not want the bread but more salad. Meal bought back to table with a slice of onion, two slices tomato, and a lettuce slice. When I pointed this out was told this is what you get!!!. Risotto very watery. Are the mashed potatoes in fact smash, please comment, pie ok but chips and gravy lukewarm, chilli and rice adequate, but nothing to go wild about. Would not eat there again as on the whole food poor and for what you get very pricey, but would go for a drink especially with the bar staff being so obliging and friendly. Couple sitting on the next table said food very substandard, before we ordered, but decided to give food a go, but to be honest wished we had not.

Excellent service. Friendly staff, good food served quickly. Don't know why people have complained about alcohol prices. Still cheaper than my local in Kent. Thanks guys. Will be back! Much respect from a forces veteran!

Wow excellent value for money fantastic Carvery roast gammon or steak pie flaky pastry with all the vegetables and apple pie and custard for £6.95 on a Wednesday brilliant value for money. Lovely friendly staff what more can you ask for 👍👏

Very poor customer service not accommadating or helpful by the manager Staff quite rude asked for condiments told over there Food adequate but overpriced and drinks expensive

Went here for a drink and meal on sat night . On entry it was very busy as there was a football match on , did put me off a bit as had to squash past everyone standing up watching the game shouting at the tv . But there was a quieter room at the book where the carvery is , not many tables for the size of the place though , and slow to clean the tables , but like I said it was very busy ! It took a good 15-20 mins just to order food and drinks , the bar is not big enough to deal with the amount of people . The food was your usual pub grub nothing wrong with it all , ok for a quick bite the produce was all of good quality I would eat there again and would recommend. But be aware it’s not a quiet cosy pub it’s very loud .

The barn inn is really friendly and the food was lovely and value for money staff were really friandly and the regular customers too even drinks are great value lovely and clean

Not tried carvery for a while so decided to give it a go. To be honest wasn’t anything special, meat and veg ok but a nono for me was the frozen Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes so sorry won’t be going back. On the positive side I did get a free mini bottle of Prosecco as it was Mother’s Day 👍

Attend this gem all the time. Walk through from stowes manor. Food is always brilliant. Love it Beer always fresh and tasty , prices are good. Toilets and facilities always clean Big park for kids to play

Popped in here for drinks and was served by a gloomy barman.It was early evening and the place had a handful of customers in it but it lacked atmosphere and drinks where a bit pricey,perhaps it livens up when an artist is on but we wont be rushing back.

Went here last week for lunch as we were able to take the dog. We had pulled pork burger ( very nice), roast chicken and chips (nice) and Ploughmans (average if a bit small). The receptionist, barman and the waitress were all very nice. Its in Skegness Water Park
