Cafe Moda in South Holland

The food is good here, the staff pleasant and helpful. A good place to stop off for lunch or a quick snack. Would recommend to others.

Limited menu although ideal for a drop in while shopping for tea and cake. Busy so options board quite often sold out. Staff very obliging. Toilets. Lift in the store enabling access to the restaurant. For a shopping break or lunch it is ideal. Reasonably priced.

So, found our selves out in town. Unplanned, needed to find somewhere for a quick bite to eat. Visited this venue on the off chance and one we had not been to for years. The staff here are their coolest asset. Jo was so warm, friendly and professional. The good honest food was delivered well presented and quickly. Was really good.

Went for breakfast and a cuppa. The lady at the till went above and beyond to cater for my very specific diet, and all with a smile. Otherwise, basic coffee shop - not very welcoming decor wise if I'm being honest, and not an exciting range of food and not the best quality sausages.

I had a lovely fresh cream tea today from cafe moda. The cake was lovely too. There is a lovely play area for little ones. However as soon as my girl spotted it she didn't want to eat, which was a shame. The toilets were clean. They could do with a two members of staff on front of house at lunch time as it took a while to serve and a another customer had to call for help as the cashier was in the kitchen sorting something out for another customer x

Came here with sons just after Xmas. Husband and son had coffee the other son tea. Coffee was ok but the tea was vile supposed to be English breakfast type tea but was grey and tasteless. Rather put us off.

We'd shopped here before but never used Cafe Moda. First impressions count and ours was that it was light, tidy and clean. This was later reinforced by visiting the toilets. Clean and tidy too. It's order at the counter with food served at the table, biscuits etc excepted. The lady at the counter was pleasant and cheery. Later I noticed that not only was this her standard but there are regular customers whom she acknowledged and asked whether they were having their usual drinks etc. Well done! This lady also pointed out that if we wished we could have further drinks for just 99p a cup, even if we wanted to come back later in the day! It's important to keep your receipt though! Ours was only a small order and arrived quite quickly. The only slight quibble was that my coffee cooled quite quickly. Perhaps hot milk could be an option? I'm surprised that there are so few reviews as Cafe Moda is a friendly establishment that is ideal for in-store shoppers. The prices are reasonable, and although upstairs there are lifts and escalators as well as accessible toilets.

Went to Greggs for breakfast, only to be told that they hadn't had a delivery so we couldn't have breakfast. Decided to try cafe mods in Beales. I had a toasted tea cake and tea. The tea cake was lovely but the tea wasn't very hot. My husband had a bacon baguette and a latte. He said that he couldn't fault either, the latte was hot and good value for money. The staff were very friendly. The toilets were clean.

as I had a voucher for bye one meal get one free we went to the café for dinner it is inside a large shop first floor it as a escalator up and one going down and also has a lift so ok for disabled people very well set out so you have room to move round the tables it very clean and the meals are set out very well it as also on the same floor near the café toilets men women and 1 disabled food and staff very good

Coffee tasted like old dish water, worst coffee I've ever had. Lemon merangue was a bit bit dissapointing but ok. Staff were very friendly though

Tried all the coffee shops and cannot fault cafe moda at all. Snacks and lunch are all well presented. It is popular go ewrly for morning coffee. Staff are extremely friendly
