Love Lunch in Northampton

I had a jacket potato, which was supposed to be served with coronation chicken. It was so dry and tastless. The chicken was processed and didn't have hardly any sauce on it. The salad had no dressing, which was surprising as I was asked which one I would like when ordering. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly .

Visited yesterday for an afternoon tea for four. We were welcomed on arrival and our table was ready for us. We are asked what drinks we would like and all four different drinks arrived quickly followed by the afternoon tea. We were impressed with how the food was displayed and the waitress explained all the items. We all commented on how everything was freshly prepaired and how tasty it all was. We were asked if we wanted more drinks and again they arrived swiftly. Of course we couldn't finish everything and we were supplied with take away boxes. The food was excellent. The service was excellent too.

Overall food was nice, but dark haired waitress had a real attitude. This is t the first time I’ve come across her rudeness. I visit on a regular basis, but this we’ll be my last - I do t expect to be made stupid in front of other customers with her attitude.

Went for afternoon tea ,really relaxing and enjoyable, food amazing and staff were friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit even for a sandwich. You have to book in advance for afternoon tea ,yummy

First time having a coffee with our mum since lickdown began, and we wanted to support the coffee shop post lockdown. Sadly we were made to feel very unwelcome on saturday 3rd July 21. We had 6 at our table we moved some chairs to accommodate the family. I went up to order and 2 members of staff were moaning about my family and another familyand they were not very welcoming at all. They were upset that a 2 person table was left without chairs. I had planned to order lunches and drinks for all of us. However i am not spending money where we are greated with such to put it bluntly " bitchiness" We left amd went to waitrose new coffee shop and had our lunch. The 2 members of staff were unprofessional, they should be pleased to see customers, they are lucky they have a job to come back to post lockdown From Very disappointed

Lovely cosy comfortable place to chill out and meet up with friends. I’m afraid on this occasion the food was very poor, we had to send it back and it still wasn’t put right . Didn’t even get an apology. Maybe they were to busy .

Beau-TEA-ful presentation of our afternoon tea for 2. Taking a seat and then ordering at the counter was a piece of CAKE! Was so delicious it was nearly no time and all our food was SCONE. There was a LATTE choice, even for us americanO'S! Had a great experience BEAN there, looking forward to returning!

We received a present of a voucher for afternoon tea, so delighted with the whole experience. The tea was superb, great ingredients, looked beautiful too. The best jam, would love to buy some!! We had never been before but would love to return. Great shop too. Lovely friendly staff, thank you

Regularly go here for coffee with friends. Lunches are excellent and recently went for their afternoon tea. This was amazing, more than enough selection of sandwiches, cakes and small treats. Very competitively priced and great value for money. Very easy parking and access. Nice to wander around the eclectic array of items to purchase in shop after.

Located within A Bell Ltd homestore, the interior designers have produced a lovely layout and very atmospheric feel to the cafe. Whilst main dishes were available, we tended just to have a scone and cake both of which were very tasty and moist. Really recommend this place if you are in the area.
