O'Neill's Northampton in Northampton

Firstly they brought out another table's food to us, then they brought out the wrong food that I ordered so didn't get what I paid for.

I’ve been coming to this O’Neill’s every week for years as my ‘local’ which is nowhere near where I live, the main reason being how incredible the staff are every time I come, particularly the hilarious Mitchie who always makes the experience unforgettable. No matter whether it’s a quick post-work pint or full dinner and drinks, I always know that the service will be top-notch and it’s always my first thought for a work do or a low-pressure first date. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, they put it right straight away and always leave me feeling immensely valued as a customer. In short, I love this place and think it’s a real unsung gem in Northampton, which is really rare to find in a chain bar.

This place is one of the best places to be if you're looking for good laughs and seriously good food and service. The food here is always incredible every time I come here. I went in on my birthday and they gave me a brownie with happy bday written I'm chocolate and it made my birthday feel that extra bit special. The service in this place is phenomenal, the servers will always put a smile on your face and they work to the bone to make sure your experience is the best it could be. I cannot recommend this place enough if you end up in Northampton this is the place to go and visit.

OMG that burger was Godly. Their burgers here are honestly the best I’ve ever had. The staff are brilliant to be around too, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE THAN I CURRENTLY AM. Me and my son come in for lunch on Wednesday and was really impressed with the hot chicken stack, was amazing!we really enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Great pub - until they ran out of beer 🤣

We visited on the Friday night of a rugby weekend, truly the calm before the storm. Drinks were mostly great and their happy hour is good value. Staff were friendly but some were more knowledgeable than others. Glad we didn't head there on the Saturday though, they ran out of so many things, including glasses and lots of basic drinks.

Had a lovely dinner with some tapas, the pulled beef tortilla is amazing. Went back for brekkie the next day, they forgot the bacon but that was swiftly sorted by the very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place.

Good food, prices are great, friendly service! I do recommend the mega Irish breakfast and breakfast bap, but also the really, really lovely BBQ pulled beef tacos!

My friends and I visited o’neill’s for st Patrick’s day and had a brilliant time watching the Irish dancers. The atmosphere and service was excellent. Especially by Mathew who made sure we had the perfect pub visit!

Easy to order from the table with the app, I ordered the bbq chicken wing platter which looked, smelled and tasted so delicious!! I would get it again ^^ The waitress was lovely and helpful too.

We arrived around 8pm and had some food. The staff were very friendly. Food was nice but nothing special. Although I didn't expect it to be. Also the chips were cold. It was very noisy. I think there might have been a football match on as the TV screens were on.

We were hosted by Meg, Ben and Mitch. Meg made us so welcome, and went out of her way to accommodate us, such as letting us have music on in our section, although there was a football game on at the time too. Mitch was also like our personal entertainer - No CHEESE!!! ;) And the food was all brilliant, even allowed to take a doggy bag home for one of our party who didn't want to waste. Great staff!

The staff are very attentive and pleasant to talk to, and the food is of excellent quality and served in good portions. The prices attached to the food are fair as well. The pub plays a big variety of music, never making the atmosphere dull, and the set up inside the pub is nice, clean, and organised. Will be coming back and recommending to friends.

The customer service is outstanding and friendly. Soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a very clean establishment, nice music, good drinks and all round perfect vibes. The staff are incredible as well

Nice little wetherspoons, good range of good and beer on tap and all at a very good price,interesting theme in this venue very strange shape if you look above and behind the bar,staff where helpful and friendly would vist again

Last visit was for a big Irish breakfast no butter on the toast very dry over all. Today visit notorious p.i.g no pulled pork in the burger feeling abit ripped off...... fall me once shame on you! fall me a 2nd time shame on me.

The food was very tasty and the more expensive beers were also very good. In general, the selection of beers is very good and there is also a good selection of food. The burgers as well as the fries and the cheese macaroni tasted very good. For the local prices it was a fair price in comparison, but a bit expensive by German standards. Each seat has its own TV or a view of one.

Mitchie was great. Quick with the food and the banter. Livened up our Monday night. Would recommend

If you are into sports it's a must for you. TV everywhere. Good smoking area. Great staff, good beer. Toilets are fine except for bad graffiti but it's not offensive so it's no problem really.

Needed a bite to eat and found this place not far from the Roadmender music venue. Once inside the pub is clean and spacious, good selection of Beers and a decent Food menu. Opted for the 2 for £10 meals, 7oz Gammon steak and fish and chips. Order arrived after about 15 minutes, and was a bargain for £10. Perfectly cooked and a good sized portion, really was a great meal. Ordered chicken wings and a couple of beers and still came to under £25. Shout out to the chef and the 2 girls working the bar and waiting on tables, our server was lovely and friendly and a real credit to the business. Great place to visit for a pre gig pint and food. 20/07/2023 was our visit date.

Just got back from having lunch, ordered the tapas, 5 dishes for under £20, faultless, more than enough for the two of us to eat, drunken mushroom, koftas, quisedillos, dirty fries and pulled beef, very good all of them, great value for money highly recommend.

Can't fault the size of the Irish breakfast for under £7, they've removed the White Pud though, which I loved.... but that's literally my only gripe and that's if I'm being really picky. Service is fast, you can order from the app, staff are friendly and the food is delicious, hot and great value.

Good screens to watch sports (in my case football) and plenty of space. The only down thing was that music was played instead of the sounds and comments of the match, which takes some of the magic. You can order from your phone, although some tables don't have the number on them.

The food was nicer than your average pub grub, minus 1 star as we ordered at the table and there didn't seem to be a way to order with the kids'offer during the Easter holidays. But the staff were friendly and will go again.

Went in for a quick drink before dinner, staff were friendly, atmosphere was okay, nice big TV screens w sports playing and decently priced food and drinks. Students deals available too 👍 long island ice tea was very nice, didn't skimp on the alcohol at all Also tried the tapas, ordered the chicken wings, bao Buns and calamari strips Food selection was good but a little but burnt at times. Tipple and tapas deal is decent though 👍

went on my own for breakfast, felt welcome and safe. Ordered via the app, but something I asked for wasn't available, but a member of staff came over and made suggestions for a replacement. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and came back later to check everything was okay. Good value food and decent beer. I'll be back the next time I'm in Northampton
