Had a lovely meal here with the kids. The food was lovely! The staff were amazing, especially Matthew who couldn’t do enough to help. After a stressful morning this was just what we needed!

Had lunch with my friends today and the food was really good. Staff were really friendly, thank you!

Myself & my partner recently had lunch here whilst visiting family. Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was quick, an extra thank you to Mathew for going the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant experience, we really appreciated it. Will be back 😁

Before I start, if you visit here please use the app to order your food. I say this because we went as a group of five, we ordered our food at the bar, we sat down, the people behind us had finished putting thier order in on the app, another table also arrived and did the same, well......... the people on the next table had thier food, had eaten it and some of them had left and we were still waiting for our food. When we ordered the food we were told that there would be a 30minute wait, fair enough, it happens, it was just coming up to nearly an hour, when I went to ask if our food was going to be ready soon, she told me it would be a bit longer because a few orders had come in over the app, I explained our order had gone in before at least one or two of them so the lovely lady went to check. Ten minutes later our food arrived, one steak was hot on a piping hot plate, my steak, typical, was luke warm, the mushrooms, peas and tomato were also luke warm, but I had hot chips!!!!!! The gammon was lovely, the loaded chicken breast was warm and lovely, the fish was so so. I don't think I would go out of the way to eat here again, the food was tasty even if it wasnt warm for me, but I will not be forced to have yet another app on my phone just to have my food put on the table in a reasonable amount of time. The other problem we had is that one of our group was diabetic, he could not inject until he knew roughly when the food was coming.

Brilliant bar, we come regularly to watch football and sports which they always have on. Service is always brilliant and the food has never let us down. Always worth the journey visiting O’Neill’s Northampton.

My friend and I enjoyed a pint of ale here on the evening of Tuesday, February 4, 2025. The pub was clean and the staff were professional and polite. The toilets were clean and tidy.

Absolutely love this place, the staff are so friendly and always up for a laugh and go out their way to help anyone! The food is amazing, especially the angry faces and the student deals are one of my favourite place!! I'm definitely going back every weekend!!

O'Neills is a great place to eat you can order from the table with the app which is more easy, I ordered the bbq chicken wing platter which looked, smelled and tasted so delicious!! Chef Ben's cooking is amazing will be ordering again for sure ^^ The servers are nice, friendly, welcoming and a good laugh. Great place to play pool here too.

Good food at affordable prices. We don't come into Northampton often and frequent the pubs even less but found ourselves in O'Neills at lunchtime a week or so ago. We were very pleasantly surprised. Yasmin was lovely and explained how the ordering process worked and served us our lunch. Wow. The food was great and at a reasonable price. I had a perfectly cooked 8oz Rump and found it to be superior to those at a well known steak house I used to visit regularly until prices became ridiculous. My husband had the Double Burger and was equally impressed with that. The place was pleasant and clean and we will definitely be back.

Went in to find an underage guy racially abusing an elderly woman,then becoming violent towards at least 3 others, returned today saw the same guy when told staff he was back in after being told he was banned 'he's a friend of the managers boyfriend so I can't do anything!" Won't be back again how ridiculous

This pub has seriously gone downhill. Came in for lunch before cinema with my son, ordered fish and chips and a curry. Waited almost an hour for food and when it arrived was awful. A slop of microwaved curry with a nan I could have used as a Frisbee. Sons chips literally snapped, fish undercooked with rubbery batter...the weirdest texture ever. Waitress was mortified and immediately refunded us, but now rushing to the cinema to make it on time and going to have to buy food there.

Went for a meal with the missus both had pizzas they were amazing will.be back.

Heavily over priced drinks and food. Finding the toilets is a mission in it's self (the cubicles both had big floaters in them 🤷)

Came here with friends few a bite to eat and few social drinks. Services was excellent and speedy considering it was fairly busy with the football on. Highly recommend the tapas menu.

Went here to meet up with my family who hadn’t seen for a few months so wanted to have a nice meal. We had an amazing time, all the staff we’re lovely and the food was great, all in all had a great time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone passing by Northampton.

Firstly they brought out another table's food to us, then they brought out the wrong food that I ordered so didn't get what I paid for.

I’ve been coming to this O’Neill’s every week for years as my ‘local’ which is nowhere near where I live, the main reason being how incredible the staff are every time I come, particularly the hilarious Mitchie who always makes the experience unforgettable. No matter whether it’s a quick post-work pint or full dinner and drinks, I always know that the service will be top-notch and it’s always my first thought for a work do or a low-pressure first date. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, they put it right straight away and always leave me feeling immensely valued as a customer. In short, I love this place and think it’s a real unsung gem in Northampton, which is really rare to find in a chain bar.

OMG that burger was Godly. Their burgers here are honestly the best I’ve ever had. The staff are brilliant to be around too, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE THAN I CURRENTLY AM. If you’re in Northampton, either for a good meal, great environment or a bday like I was, come here. They’re so great

The best bar staff I’ve ever seen, they are all so funny and great to be around. Can have a laugh with them all night long. And don’t even get me started on the food, absolutely divine
