it was very bad experience beacuse i did not recieved my order, but the delivery driver gone without any call or notice.

Staffs were very nice, tasty drinks. Definitely my favorite Starbucks in Northampton.

The cafe is such a 10/10 study cafe. I came here for a lavendar matcha it was delicious and the staff was super kind.

Prices are going craaaazy there ! My cappachino drive through started the year at £4.10 , then leapt to £4.40 …. Today leapt to £4-70 !!! If you want a £5 coffee it isn’t far away!!!

I ve been waiting for so long to try pistachio velvet latte. Miserable lady took my order. I got instead of pistachio latte , latte with oat milk. I will never come back there again. It was young lady with piercing all over her face

Great little place at the side of all the bigger businesses around that area food was fresh and delicious my hot chocolate was amazing with fresh cream and the staff were very friendly and helpful will be popping in again next time I pass through

Had a terrible experience with Just Eat. My Starbucks order (10-25 mins) took over an hour and wasn’t delivered. The driver was outside, then moved down the street, and it was falsely marked as delivered. No proper support to fix this. Disappointed.

Want to shout out to Matt as my daughter and I managed to cock up his till by changing things .. he tried so hard to sort it and he did but not after I'm sure him silently muttering how he loves customers !! He went above and beyond and a big hug ! (We did not mean to use our points and caused chaos! Sorry again ). Hugs

As if it's not bad enough that they charge £2.75 for some hot water with a tea bag in it, the flavour from the tea bag was absolutely non-existent, I had to ask for a second tea bag. The service by the staff on shift that day was beyond woeful; mumbling to customers, generally looking miserable and making it quite an unpleasant experience all in all. Won't be doing that again in a hurry !

Lovely coffee but keep forgetting to put milk in my americano but still tasty

Forgot 2 cheese toasties and my drink came tipped over with a lot spilled into the bag, as well as barely any coffee in it was fuming.

Walked in and was met with miserable looking staff, had to stand at the till and wait for someone to acknowledge me, finally a stone faced women took my order no good morning nothing.. stood and waited for my drinks , after another 5 minutes got the first drink so decided to wait for the second .. another 5 minutes she asks what was your drink .. I repeated my order .. another few minutes the other member of staff asked if I have come to collect an order .. at this stage I’m getting annoyed.. I replied I ordered my drinks at the till… turns out she failed to place my order correctly had to wait another few minutes … no apology nothing.. I strongly advise this team get some well deserved training, not the first time I’ve been spoken to rudely by this lot.. take a lesson from your team on the kettering road ..

Ordered cinnamon swirl today noticed theres flies inside the holding area. Waited 30 minutes for my drink. Rude staff when I told her (between 18-20 year old girl) that I have been waiting for my drink for ages she answered back that it is their first day and they are still learning, without even apologies, they changed shift at 14:00, if they are new surely they should be shadowed/ assisted. 1/12/20 15:20pm Ordered coffee and frapuccino inside the store for take away. I have observed the young blond lad who did the caramel coffee frapuccino, he did not do it from the fresh! He add some squirt of syrup milk then ice on the left over from the previous one he did! I cannot taste the coffee nor caramel on it! This not the first time this lad made a mistake on orders or he is just taking the piss! Surely every frap should be made by order not keep on topping like that! Awfully dissappointing! 11/12/2024 Follow-up review Just been now only few minutes til 6pm, I ordered the Christmas chocolate fudge brownie drink and they said they are not doing it anymore! Seriously!? Not even christmas yet! Staff are in rush of cleaning not serving customers.

my order was a gift for someone but never received. how would you like to make it up to that person

I ordered it at 10:47 this morning and chose an estimated time for 12:10 and it was then delivered at 12:27 so almost 20 minutes late. Surely ordering with this much time in advance I expected it to be ready and delivered on or near the selected time

I’ve walked in and waited for approx 3 minutes which I don’t have a problem with. No apology for the wait, no hello no actual curtesy the whole attitude was off and negative. Hopefully never come to this branch again if this is how you are treated.

The store is a great place for a coffee and catch-up with friends and family and its nice and clean and the staff are friendly

Ordered food at 14:44 and now food is saying it has been delivered at 17:30 even though it has not been that time . Food hasn’t even been delivered and has taken over two hours .

Asked for a mocha frappe, had 5 people served Infront of me after paying. Finally got my drink after a 10+min wait..not even busy. Frappe was super watery, apparently ice doesn't exist in frappés here. Could taste the caramel from the previous customers drink. Staff miserable and rude. Never again 1/10 experience.

Drinks quality is really poor and inconsistent. Often lacking flavour or ingredients. Tables are not cleared after guests meaning you have to sit amongst the previous customers cups and plates.

He spilt both drinks and ran off when I tried to return

In recent months I've noticed it's not 24 hours any more.... not sure when it changed however now closes at 22pm ..... I enjoy the drive thru very convenient good coffees options

Great drinks and food, service could have been a little quicker, but staff very pleasant and apologetic.

Drinks are standard Starbucks drinks; good variety but expensive. Service is slow and staff are generally not approachable or friendly, customers seem to be an inconvenience to them. No atmosphere in store.

Staff were friendly too, especially Naomi who was super helpful when I asked if they coffee grounds available but there was none immediately to hand, but she quickly sorted out a large bag for me with no fuss. Terrible service sat for 10 minutes after ordering with no cars moving. When I tried to get out and find out what was going on lady was very rude. In the end of drive away without our drinks

The rudest staff I have ever met in my life. I have been many times and not once staff with smiles on their faces. I work in hospitality and in my workplace this would never be acceptable!

Ordered food in drive through to be given the wrong order by the lesser value of £15 .upset the family when we tried to return it and explain was told it was our fault and no refunds... 🥵 never use them again

Drink was forgotten about and then when asked for it they said someone had taken it. It had not been called out so I don’t believe it had been taken, it just wasn’t made. Then hazelnut syrup wasn’t added so asked for it and she was rude. Then laughing with another colleague about it. Then gave me the drink for the second time after waiting for ages and having customers before me receiving their drinks without saying anything and was rude. Delivery was perfect. However due to poor sesaling of the drink almost a quarter of it was lost in the bag.

Had an Americano and a pain au chocolat Only the 2nd time I visited and the 1st time I used the app A very helpful barista and a relaxing atmosphere 😀

Absolutely mortified with this delivery man’s service, how he phones me that he is out side the fence and I must come fetch my order, not even outside my door. I even gave a good gesture tip on the app to be spoken to like that. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the delivery driver.

Come here most weeks before work sometimes after. Some of the staff are lovely and super polite whereas there have been more times than not they’re miserable and/or rude. When using the drive through they can be that miserable I can hardly hear them through the speaker and their attitude towards customers stinks

I have been here many times for drive through service and always I get the coffee either too sweet, either to bitter. The staff is not friendly at all and they seem bored to work there. Last time when I ordered coffee the lid was not pushed properly and I spilled the drink on myself.

Used to be one of my favourite places to get coffee before work. Sadly, they have changed opening hours and now only work from 6am

Very slow service! Horrible customer service and drinks taste like nothing.

Visited this site today hoping for a quick take away coffee. I was waiting over 15 mins and realised that customers who were behind me are being served first. I told the staff that I'm waiting so long just for a coffee so she asked me what I ordered. Then she realised that my coffee was already prepared but nobody was there to kindly pass it to me. She didn't even say sorry or anything. That was soooo rude. Avoid this place if you can! No respect for customers at all!

Nothing majorly bad to say about this establishment! Visit quite frequently however every time we get food via the drive thru it’s always squashed and we have to almost put it back together. Would be nice if the staff took care in packing the food so it’s not a “build your own breakfast” Update 2024 - staff need to be more alert. Staff rarely speak to you at the drive thru and just present the card reader to you instead of any interaction, look on their faces indicates they don’t wanna be there. Not friendly

Used drive thru for first time usually always use McDonald's for a quick coffee. Thought I'd give Starbucks a go. Paid £3.45 for a medium white americano. After driving away for a mile or so was annoyed to find no milk in my coffee. Not a great first time experience. Will be sticking to mcds for better value, taste and service!

This Starbucks is killing the planet. Despite the climate CRISIS they choose to give out takeaway cups to customers drinking in the 3 HOURS before they close, because they cannot be bothered to wash up the mugs! Staff were incredibly rude and showed zero care for the environment.

Lovely coffee, friendly staff and clean environment. Great place to visit and sit in and if you're passing through an easy convenient to pop in.

Dreadful service today - absolutely pitiful - 4 cars in front of me in the drive through -took over 30 mins to be served and then she didn’t apologise or even get the order correct!!! I told them I’d leave it and drive off. Ridiculously slow and very poor customer service, which isn’t unusual here!

I used the drive through pretty regularly here and always greeted with some sub par customer service but today I was served by Liv, exceptional customer service very attentive, welcoming and my order tasted great! Kudos to you Liv an asset to the St James branch!

Arranged to meet a friend inside here for lunch. Three members of staff on duty to serve both the drive through and inside diners. The panini was served and then I waited 15 minutes for coffees, by which time the panini was cold! I asked for a tray to take my order to the table and was told in a very offhand manner we haven't got any! This was not a one off experience. The service here is always slow, the place isn't very clean and it's definitely not a place to go for a relaxing brunch!

Got served by this lovely girl called Katie, came in on my own and she made me feel very welcome. Absolute best service I have ever received at a Starbucks, will be coming again and hopefully will be greeted with the same pleasantry as today. As I am an elderly lady, I do not leave the house as much as I used to in my prime, however Katie made me feel very happy to travel there and she was very happy to have a conversation with me. This morning I been first customer at 6:00am in drive through. I ordered 1 reg americano and 2 mochas. Americano was very not nice, like from old filter and like brown water with no coffee taste. Impossible to drink. And also mochas not like usual…. Customer service rude with no manners. No good morning, no thank-you…. Not happy at all. Thank you .

Service was a bit slow. The ladies that attended me had "I don't care" attitude. Prices in Starbucks are really high and not very tasty. I prefer a Costa.
