Place has really gone downhill, Food order was wrong three time ..Drinks were incorrect three times ..Staff`s English not good. Waiter was told twice to take his thumbs off the plate as he served the food. Way overpriced for simple food . Won`t go back again!

Wife ordered chicken Kiev. It had been deep fried and was well overcooked. Spoke to the waiter who took it back and returned saying it was okay. Once we explained we were both qualified chefs he took it away. 20 minutes later, came back with another one only marginally better than the first. After the meal he asked us if we enjoyed our meal. When we said no he came out with a glib comment about our choice. Very bad practice deep frying almost everything. Won’t be going back.

I went with family for a quick dinner. On entering there were about 10 people in and went to sit down only to be told we had to sit on the other side as they wanted to clean. When i disagreed as they wanted to sit us right infront of the window they changed their minds and said sit anywhere but we stayed on the other side so they could clean. The food came out at all different times which is just plain annoying. Kids halfway through before ours appeared ! The chips were lukewarm. Then we were watched whilst we ate for half the meal which was uncomfortable. Then halfway through they decided to start cleaning with the strongest smelling bleach overpowering the meal! Staff were unfriendly. Definitely wont be back !

Jenny's is located within the Weston Favell shopping centre and offers a large seating area. The menu is largely a grill selection with a wide choice of dishes and many varieties suitable for most tastes. The service from the pleasant young waitress was quick and attentive. They were happy to change some of the menu items on request, for example, a salad in place of chips, and baked beans in place of mushrooms. I would suppose that a courteous request would be more agreeable than a demand. The pricing is quite reasonable, as is the drinks selection and choices. All in all a good experience and worthy of a return visit.

Had the 'full Monty' (beefburger, frankfurter, bacon, two eggs, beans, mushrooms and chips) and it was absolutely delicious - so much better than the synthetic-tasting junk food you get from the chain takeaways! The service was good even though the place was very busy. Not the kind of place to come for a peace and quiet, but if you want a hearty bit of stodge that will see you through the day, highly recommended.

Jenny’s has recently refurbished and now has Frango Grill added to it. We thought we’d give it a try as we fancied something simple for lunch. We walked in and chose a seat. We picked up the menus (there’s 2 different ones Frango Grill and Jenny’s). We had our 7 year old with us. Within about 2 minutes a waitress asked us if we were ready to order. We asked for a bit longer so she walked off. About 2 minutes later she cane back and asked us to order. We needed longer! She walked off. She came back again a shirt while later and I asked if she could make a variation to the menu as I can’t eat bread. She said “no” so we asked for more time. Off she went again. Then, someone else came and asked if we were ready to order at which point we said yes. My husband went to order some pasta to be told that they didn’t have any! I went on to order drinks. I then asked if she could swap my sons burger bun to a plain one as he doesn’t like sesame seeds. She said “no”. We got up to leave and she changed her mind and said she would do it. In the meantime, someone cane over to say that they didn’t have any mango for my husbands fruit smoothie. He said he would go without a drink. I ordered my chicken grill with chips and my husband decided just to have a side as we’d been so rushed and by this time we were annoyed. While waiting for our food, the waitresses are running around like mad and literally colliding into each other but they were not busy! One waitress stood in front of our table and literally hitched up her knickers and trousers! Inflexible service and rushed waitresses. My husbands sides came before mine and my sons mains came. He had almost finished by the time ours arrived. My plain chicken breast was crunchy......it wasn’t deep fried or anything but was obviously frozen and recooked. When I complained they didn’t care. AVOID!!

Decided to have breakfast out with my 9 year old son. Looked at the reviews and my son decided that we would pay Jenny's a visit. We were reading the menu when a polite member of staff opened the door and invited us in. We made our way to a table and sat. Within 2 minutes, the waitress was over and taking our order. She was courteous throughout. I went for a large breakfast as did my son. The food was brought back quickly and was good quality. I was a little disappointed that the largest breakfast wasn't as large as I like (just have a large appetite) but my son was delighted with his. The price was very reasonable and the politeness of all staff was excellent. Overall, a good choice made by my son and worth another visit in the future.

Jenny's Cafe Bistro is actually just a cafe that serves the more usual breakfast and cafe type dishes you would expect in a lower end service station on a not so busy motorway or A road. We popped in because we had missed breakfast and fancied a late, light brunch, a drink and a quick sit down. The staff all seem very keen and eager to serve. No seemingly English speakers amongst the staff but I think this provided a different work ethos. The cafe/bistro (cafe) was not particularly busy but had a wide mix of clientele. We ordered from a printed menu which had some of the food on (perhaps to by way of demonstration of the possible ingredients). We found the simple round of menu items to be a little confusing because they had photographs on which didn't really match the descriptions given. However, the drink and food order was taken quickly, efficiently and politely. When the food arrived (an all day breakfast and a large mixed grill - both cooked fresh and in a kitchen area that was open to view) both my partner and I looked at our plate, then at each other and then at the menu to check that what we had received was what we had ordered. The food was served on overlarge plates and looked lost. We both ate up up and whilst the appearance was a little bit unexpected, it did, at least, taste good...except there really wasn't enough! I had a tea and my partner had a mocha and they were fine at least. A little confusion arose when asked about paying our bill. We both misunderstood the waitresses response and sat for 15 minutes at our table like a pair of lemmings waiting for the end. The bill was a reasonable £13. However, both my partner and I thought that for a similar price, we could have eaten better at any of the other restaurants/cafes/diners/ fast food outlets at the shopping centre for the same or similar price and probably would have left feeling full too!

When we visited this restaurant was very busy and noisy I don’t mention this as a criticism just to make you aware. The food is reasonably priced and the quality is fine. We had a bit of a wait but as I said it was busy. Fine for a quick lunch.

Myself and my partner visited last sunday for some breakfast before shopping, we visited because the portions and food advertised looked generous and really nice. When seated ourselves and almost instantly a waiter came and asked for our drinks and when we said sorry we haven't decided yet, he seemed annoyed and walked off. a waitress came over a little later, she was lovely and took our order. I had a hot chocolate which looked and tasted amazing probably better than costa, and my other halves orange juice was cold and fresh. It all went downhill when our food was served, what was advertised and what we received were too different things, i didn't even get a picture of what was served as i was so underwhelmed, it was a tiny portion of food on a huge plate, my partner ordered extra bacon which wasn't on the plate, yet it came 5 mins later on a separate plate? why not just served it all together ? makes no sense to me. The price was okay, £15 for the two breakfasts and two drinks, which initially we thought was a bargain looking at the food we expected to get for that money, but it was completely different in reality and for the amount of food seems a rip off. I wouldn't recommend to anyone with a decent appetite, for a light bite maybe, but im sure theres better places near by.
