Tesco Cafe in East Lindsey

Decided against food as the service is so slow you’d spend 10-15 mins in the short queue then 20 mins waiting for a breakfast. Place is dirty the floors and tables need a clean and cleaning solution shouldn’t be left on the table. I’m sure the staff do their best actually but they need younger & fitter staff , as a result it’s really only catering for old folks who spend an hour at the table . So you may find you pay for food and are left without a table. As nobody wants to share a table. Cold drinks and little biscuit bars way overpriced!! £2 for a standard can of fizzy drink ? Tesco shop doesn’t charge that. Bonus side you can use a clubcard. Altho Costa over the road also does the loyalty card and occasional free drinks when you get enough stamps ,

Food was quick and nice to eat, the staff were nice and chatty. And it was cheap and affordable so that’s a bonus

This was quite the worst breakfast in skegness, Its was the cheapest sausage and bacon you can have. the beans where lukewarm and the egg you could have used it as a basketball it was that rubbery. The couple next to us had tea and had to have even their cups sent back as there's was not even clean , (The staff said its the coffee.) How about the staff having some pride.

I’ve eaten twice at this cafe ,and both really good experiences.I found the staff to be friendly and obliging both times ,keep it up ,your all doing fantastic!

Really friendly staff member serving and the food was really good value - would recommend for anyone wanting a cheap but good breakfast!

Having patronised this Cafe & Boston's for over 4 years it definitely needs some TLC !!! The food is served (hot food ) lukewarm it's often dry & overcooked - Go to the Cafe @ Tesco's Boston it is world's apart !! TESCO get your act together this is not the first time ,and hopefully the last ,I've had occasion to raise the standards at the CAFE

I went to this cafe yesterday. It was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was really clean, nice menu and great layout. We will be back again!

We visited at around lunch time hoping for a coffee and a slice of cake or a fruit scone. Apart from one fruit scone and a pile of cheese scones there was really nothing worth eating. From the orders the breakfasts seemed really popular, however everyone had to wait for them to be cooked and as there was only one lady serving and helping with the cooking there was then a long wait at the till. There were no trays, a pile of cutlery was in a pile behind the counter and the lady serving seemed to be under a lot of pressure .

Went for lunch today, my partner asked for eggs Royale to be told they had none, ironically I chose a breakfast...with eggs....no problem? Upon receipt of my breakfast it made more sense as the fried eggs were so rubbery as if they had been sat like a pair of little eggy islands on a hot plate for some time. I mean no eggs? Where would a supermarket cafe source eggs in a rush? Having re-soled my shoes with the eggs I scraped some margerine on a blackened piece of cardboard...it was toast but who could tell! Fortunately I’ve had a rough life and devoured many a slice of cremated bread in my time so it was a little trip down memory lane....charred toast and 8p campaniero Netto baked beans the week before pay day, happy days...I digress Two Richmond sausages and bacon were fine, beans were ace with a sea of low salt low carb low cal low taste ketchup on them. Tomatoes, well they taste better with a little carbon so no problem! My partner had a jacket potato with tuna, advertised as tuna and spring onion but spring onions are as rare as hens teeth....and eggs in a supermarket. Lady that brought these offerings was lovely, polite and seemed to be enjoying her job. Didn’t complain for two reasons 1. Were English not savages 2. We were both hungry and had only gone to the store as there was 25% off six bottles of wine and food always comes second to wine....doesn’t it?

Staff could not have been more accommodating. Went for breakfast on 13/06/2019 with my fiancé, my 3.5 year old son who has autism and a milk allergy and my daughter who is 1. The staff were amazing, they ensured that his toast had no butter on it, came to chat with us and helped us in anyway they could. Our son can be slightly boisterous (to say the least) and we felt no judgement, just understanding. Would 100% recommend!

Great food and prices at Tesco breakfast great value always super fresh often nip in while shopping good coffee too friendly staff and great location. .

Called in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Staff friendly and efficient. Very pleasant and would definately go again. Great breakfast and great price.

From time to time I visit this Skegness Tesco cafe but I tend to avoid because it's generally shoddy but what else can one expect at the very low prices charged? If you don't worry about quality and do worry about price, this cafe is for you. Today was my first visit for a year or more. Nothing's changed, still mediocre. Two pleasant female staff were visible, one training the other. Both very pleasant but I watched the trainer when out in cafe customer seating area chatting incessantly to customers whilst a fed up maintenance man customer stood at the counter being ignored and this is typical for Tesco cafés. My cream tea with free coffee was good value, cheap in fact at under three pounds but hard work to get as there was a hand written sign advertising the deal but no made up items only a demo dummy POS item. The trainee had to spend time amalgamating the items and then charging and whole process was unbelievably slow This is typical for all Tesco cafés. The staff are poorly paid from what I hear and generally demotivated. Good luck. You'll need it! Visited Friday Aug 3rd 2018 about 11 a.m.

Called here for breakfast before our long drive home, very tasty and enjoyable and good value for money. Well done to the young man who took our order and served us, he was very polite and helpful. The cafe decor is nice and clean, so all in all a very enjoyable experience.

Here on holiday popped in to get some shopping. notice cafe so said we will have breakfast here before we set out for day. Great coffee and food bacon was soft and tasty sausage was meaty egg was cooked just right runny but not raw found the whole breakfast very nice tin tomatoes as well. we have been back 3 times this holiday as so nice. service was good to nice lady on till was on her own one morning but still manage to give up a good breakfast and great coffee thank you.
