Sorry, if you have good mood and you want to continue your evening, please don’t go to this club. The big boss on entrance will not you slowed to enter inside, just because he doesn’t like. And it doesn’t matter if you just a little drunk and in good mood it is depends the boss is like you or not. And if one of your family doesn’t look ok the boss will not allow all of you enter inside!

We found this place only due to it being round the corner from the Theatre, we were short on time so ordered a Pizza & Macaroni Cheese. Both were piping hot, tasty and arrived promptly. The staff were welcoming and friendly. This felt like quite a busy pub and seemed to have plenty going on. We liked it!

Love a good roast dinner, and Rachel was brilliant, thanks for serving us! Will be going in again

I've been there a couple of times now with my wife, trying to get through there menu, food is amazing.

Disappointing Experience I’ve been a regular customer at this Café for many years and have always enjoyed my visits—until recently. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie for my son, which shockingly contained a piece of plastic inside the sandwich. Alongside that, I had also ordered a Nutella and banana crêpe with extra strawberries and ice cream. However, the order was incomplete—both the strawberries and ice cream were missing. When I raised this, there was absolutely no explanation. Instead, the missing items were brought out separately, leaving me to assemble the dish myself. The lack of care and basic customer service is disheartening. It felt like the team simply didn’t value their customers. Sadly, after many years of loyalty, I won’t be returning.

An absolute great find... gorgeous decor, amazing food, great service... Great price too... added bonus the huge vintage shop next door....

In my recent review, I confused staff names and omitted to mention the great support given to us by Gail in reception, not just during our last visit but on many previous occasions. She goes out of her way to ensure that we enjoy our stay and that our experience is always a very positive one.

Had lunch here and ordered the cheese & bacon burger which was the best burger I have had. The seeded roll was toasted the cheese was melted over the burger and coleslaw at the bottom. Would really recommend going to try.

– Cup Recycling: A Noble Effort, But at What Cost? I appreciate the idea of recycling my cup—truly, I do. But the emotional turmoil I endured during the process was all too much. First, I approached the bin, only to be faced with three different holes labeled with symbols that might as well have been ancient runes. Do I put the lid in with the cup? What about the sleeve? I hesitated, staring into the abyss. People behind me sighed. A child pointed and laughed. Flustered, I panicked and shoved everything into one slot, only to hear a judgmental clunk. A barista appeared out of nowhere, shaking their head in disappointment. I had failed. The guilt lingers. I wake up at night, haunted by the sound of incorrectly recycled cardboard.

Asked if I would like my almond croissant warmed. Thought that was a good idea.......NO. It came all floppy & started to go hard as it cooled. Surely they didn't use a microwave for pastry when small tech ovens are available these days....?!!?

Didn't eat just came in for a drink, the place was loud with football on tv, and we only stayed for one. Not sure I'd come again tbh.

Popped in for a code and snack - but decide against the snack as £7.95 for a small piece of cheesecake - whilst appreciating we all need to make a profit - this a restaurant prices!!!! Interrogation about using the toilets and glass of water that was like warm!!!! Very disappointing!!!!
