Had a roast dinner on the Sunday, food was absolutely incredible, big portions and great price. Service was good, everyone was polite and got served very quickly

Beautiful pub with a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly (Jess and Laura) and provided table service. The food was delicious. I had the vegetarian Sunday roast, definitely recommend.

Fabulous Sunday toast! The team managed to cater for 11 of us and all the food was served piping hot. Big portions & the best suede and carrot mash in town 😍 We will be back 🙌🏻

recently had a work night here, TCB were very accomading.. went here with bf & daughter for dinner Friday, very impressed with the food, had steak (which I have never truly enjoyed in a pub) was amazing 👏 from presentation to taste.. bf said same about his burger! would 100% recommend this place for social or family food.

The most authentic and posh pub I've seen in England! Outside of it might put you off but inside it's gorgeous.

Had a nice evening upstairs watching a jazz band. The room was well turned out and the atmosphere was great. I went specifially to watch the band and the Paul Clarke 5 were excellent. I enjoyed my dirnks which were served by the pleasant bar staff.

Came today to have a roast dinner and was not disappointed me and my partner had the roast chicken. It was delicious and a nice sized portion and was all freshly made. The price is worth it and at £16 for a roast dinner is a good price, the pub ran out of dinners pretty quickly so I would suggest booking in advance to save being disappointed. Bar staff were so friendly and also the bar has a very relaxed feel to it. All in all me and my partner will be returning to have a dinner there again.

Heard the Bradlaugh were now doing Sunday lunch so thought would give it a try. Had a fabulous Lemon & Herb roast Chicken. Really tasty, good variety of sides and really well cooked and presented. Small menu but really well done. Good price, at £16, as well. Would recommend :-)

I recently held my partner's 30th birthday at the Charles Bradlaugh, and it was an incredible experience. The venue itself was fantastic—spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for our celebration. Trav, the manager, was especially helpful throughout the entire process, always quick to respond to any queries and making sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a special event.

Had a Sunday roast yesterday, food was lovely, portions were great, could barely finish it and I'm no Kate Moss. The people that work there are really nice and they also happen to have one of the best regulars comedy nights in the country. Free parking as well which is handy.

We’ve often been to the Charles Bradlaugh for bandeoke or bands and always eaten there , last night we went to the Wednesday jazz night and again ate a delicious meal , I’m vegetarian and the veggie food is always delicious as are the other meals apparently . Great value for money and we were definitely be going to the jazz nights more often 🎶🙌 The staff are always pleasant too . Thank you

A lovely venue. The deco and cleanliness is great. Too much jazz music for my taste, but I was there for a business meeting recently. Visited many years ago for a comedy night that was great.

Love this pub. Great service great food. Just had Sunday lunch which was fabulous! Often live music is on. Bandeoke & quizzes.. this place offers something for everyone. Tv showing The Euro. Nice beer garden too. Bar staff are amazing 👏

We booked the upstairs area for our wedding party and it was the perfect location! Trav sorted the food out and was on hand to answer any questions we had in the organising of the night. Venue location was great as hotels are nearby and also plenty of parking on site. Can’t wait to go back for a Sunday roast. Thanks for a great night TCB!

Due to a last minute change in plan, I had to search for a new venue for my 18th birthday party - Travis was amazing at communicating and got back to me really fast. In the night the staff were amazing and maintained great service throughout. Overall an amazing night here!

A large open-plan Venue near to the centre of Northampton with a good selection of Beers & and an uncomplicated Menu. Always a good service & fair prices. Have visited here many times and recommend The Brad Burger if you’re feeling peckish!

Fabulous Sunday lunch, wasnt sure what it would be like as they havent been doing them for long but exceeded all expectations. Served in good time, by polite staff on hot plates, the food was delicious and cooked extremely well. Will def be going back again! Thank you.

Had the chicken roast dinner and was to die for. All fresh and delicious. The wait wasn’t too long either. Great coffees as well. Perfect spot for a Sunday afternoon.

Sunday Lunch at the Brad. I arrived just after one p.m., ready for Sunday Lunch. I had the choice of sirloin steak or chicken. I chose steak. Lunch came with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, creamed leeks and mashed swede. Delicious, and I was stuffed.

There new Sunday Roast is a must have! 10/10 for the price, quality and amount of food! Would fully recommend!

I have been coming every week for over 2 years. I love the music nights on Wednesdays, some great bands, and live music. We often eat here too, and my partners favourite is the steak and fries, last week, for his birthday, the steak was perfect. I had the lasagne which on a Wednesday is discounted! Great value.

I went to view to book a launch party, was extremely surprised at what they offer, the entire pub is impeccable, with many seating and dining areas, you can have a cosy corner or a more party vibe, sadly I didn't get a chance to taste they menu as I was only there for a viewing, but definitely I am booking this establishment, upscale and economical.

Bandeoke is superb but so are the rest of their events. Always a good place.

Went for a comedy night and it was brilliant.

Had such a fantastic time here. We reserved an area for a hen party that included a private bar and were very well looked after by the fabulous bar staff for the whole night. We had a large food order that was served promptly and was delicious- highly recommend the steak fries! The bar staff organised cocktails, and Prosecco served beautifully in stands on the bar. The atmosphere was lively with great music. Couldn’t fault a thing. A special thanks to Trav for ensuring everything ran seamlessly and being a good sport during the games!

Bar service was slow for a packed comedy night only 2 staff on at beginning of interval so spent all the interval waiting for a drink. Great comedy night though. Great venue. Fabulous atmosphere but music too loud at interval making everyone shout at each other.

Good atmosphere not far away from transport links like Northagte. A lot of art on the walls, good service, no fault just good time.

Hired the Charles Bradlaugh for my 30th birthday. Vibes were amazing, atmosphere and detail were on point. The bar staff were polite and friendly, and everyone had a great time. I can’t praise Trav enough, he was fantastic throughout! Thanks for an awesome celebration!

If you like bring surrounded by lots of wood then this is your place. Nice people here too. To add, every Wednesday night they have a cool jazz evening upstairs. Nice.

Came for a work Xmas lunch. Dealt with Trav in the lead up who was fantastic at organising the event. On the day the atmosphere was brilliant, food was great (massive portions and really tasty!) and the team really looked after us. Special shout out to Jess and Poppy for managing to handle 50 of us with smiles on their faces!!

Andrew made himself a delicious cocktail and he said it was great if he didn’t mind saying so himself. Great service. 10/10. Looking forward to that £100 tab Travis x

We had a work Christmas party here and we'd pre-booked and triple checked that we had a private area. On arrival we were just put in the general bar area. Not the end of the world but we were put right next to a really loud speaker and couldn't talk much all night. Not impressed. To make matters worse, the food took ages to arrive and then when it did, my meal was bad. I don't know if they'd used a knife after cleaning without rinsing or drying but my burger tasted of washing up liquid. Couldn't eat it. Shame really as the fries were good. Overall, not a good place for a Christmas work night out!

Many years ago this was my local ....no the same place it was ....not cheap but it seems most pubs are the same nowadays

Came for the music awards on a Sunday evening. First visit and we were impressed, great drinks and the tapas was unreal especially the generous portions…..we thought we would just have some nibbly bits to go with our drinks and totally over ordered haha however there wasn’t even a crumb left by time we were done lol. We didn't eat, so I can't comment on that. We went there after a theatre show, and was surprised at how empty it was. I've not been there for years, but the Bradlaugh was always buzzing, which unfortunately was missing this time. The service was fine, the bar staff were friendly enough, not sure if it got busier later, but we were there about 10ish, so expected there to be more people around. Pitty, used to love going to the Bradlaugh.

Brilliant friendly helpful staff. Brilliant management. Amazing gigs. Really good large space upstairs for 500 people. Nice private cosy areas downstairs for private chats. Well designed. Great decor. Well thought out.Brilliant garden and smoking area. Every body welcome every type of person accepted. But don't wear flip flops. It's abit disrespectful and not really safe for your feet.

Found this place by chance. We were looking for a place that played live music till late. It's a bit of a walk from Northampton town centre, but it's worth it. The pub is cozy, with ample seating. Good selection of beer. The music was great. Unlike other places that night, it wasn't crowded either. We had a great time. Highly recommended place to visit.

Randomly found this place on google thanks to someone else’s review! Went on a Tuesday night when they had bandeoke (karaoke with a band playing). I thought the band was excellent. Only downside was that there needed to be more song selections. But don’t worry cause they’ve just started doing this and are taking requests on their Instagram so they can play more songs!! Super talented band! It was so great to see so many talented ppl singing!

We’ve been here a couple of times recently. Bandeoke on a Tuesday evening is brilliant, karaoke with a live band which is great experience! The food is also great. With 40% off on some nights during the week too! We had 2 meals for £15! Today we went for lunch and sat in the pub garden in the sunshine. Delicious toasted sandwiches, thanks team!
