Jenny's Restaurant in Northampton

Had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Jenny’s! The selection was impressive, combining both hearty and healthy options. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked sunny-side up egg and the savory selection of sujuk and grilled halloumi cheese. The plate also had fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and a generous serving of olives, which were all crisp and refreshing. Pairing this with a hot, fragrant tea made for a delightful meal. Service was attentive and quick a perfect spot for a relaxed morning. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a good start to their day!

Very disappointed, prices have gone up I paid 7.75 for this and it's a smaller portion than they use to do. The mushrooms were wet and greasy and the blaxk puding was rubber and dry. We won't be in a rush to revisit.

First class food , with all day breakfasts, burgers, omelettes and jacket potato on the main menu. Service is fast and polite , food is good (though portion size has dropped since I was last there) . Recommended

I have been visiting Jenny's for over 40 years, which must say something in itself. The staff are friendly, and I always feel like a valued customer eyery time I go in (even though I only go in occasionally when in town). I like the fact that you can get a full breakfast, omelettes, and jacket potatoes, all the way, though, to amazing feta, tender chicken, rice, and fresh, I mean fresh salads.

Food wasn’t out of this world but it was edible, the service was brilliant though. Lovely staff and it is a very clean place.

On entering I was greeted by a member of the serving staff. I was told it was table service and informed I could choose any table that was free. I could see that the establishment clean, tidy and well laid out. The staff that engaged with me were attentive, polite and well groomed. There was a large choice of main courses and non alcoholic drinks, together with desserts on the menu. All the fare was reasonably priced. I had liver and onions, bacon, peas with mashed potatoes. This meal was freshly cooked to order. It was well presented, looked appetising and tasted good. The staff were Turkish and it reminded me of well managed taverna you would find anywhere in Turkey. All in all a I had a good lunch meal in a pleasant establishment.

Jenny's is one of my favorite places to have a nice lunch when out shopping, this Jenny's restaurant used to be my nearest until I moved 3 years ago. On a recent visit to visit family my son suggested we eat at Jenny's which I of course jumped at. The place has been refurbished and it looks absolutely amazing! Really high end decorating. The food was really lovely, fresh, hot and really good quality. Great price and really friendly staff

This restaurant is not on the High Street but is well worth a visit. The service is good and efficient and the food was served quickly considering the restaurant was busy. They leave the bill on the table and you pay on your way out so you don’t have to wait for the bill if you are in a rush.

Come to this restaurant for breakfast on my way into work most days today will be the last time I’m shocked at the way they treated an English homeless person he walked in with £1.80 and asked for a hot drink they told him no you don’t have enough these people need to remember where they came from I had to give the homeless person the rest of the money very disrespectful food was very average cheap tasteless sausage cold chips very rude staff waitress turned up for work I said good morning totally ignored by her as I was leaving I said thank you looked at me to say why are you speaking to me

Popped in for a brunch. Service ok. Place was clean. But the amount of effort made to impress was non existent. I was asked if everything was ok. Well technically yes, it was “ok” but nothing better. See photo of my vegetarian breakfast. Say no more.

Nice clean and friendly place but the food although well cooked and equally well presented was an overpriced let down An 'Olympic breakfast' consisted of a few pretend sausages (the kind that are a couple of quid for a bag of 40 frozen supermarket bangers) no texture whatsoever, beans (no tinned tomatoes or bacon no doubt those would've been extra on top of an already almost £10 meal) a two fried tomatoes, some mushrooms and toast which was extra. I would rather have gone to a proper cafe just down the road which knows what actually goes on a breakfast plate at a much lower price yet much higher quality. Food aside staff were warm polite and friendly and service was pretty good too

I went into Jenny’s with my girlfriend for lunch. While the food was fine, the service and drinks were anything but. I asked for a decaf latte and received a tea. I pointed this out twice to a member of staff, who the first time said she’d tell someone, with nothing happening and the second time, she just wandered off. Photo attached shows I was charged for a latte (£2.95) but provided a tea (bag is on the spoon, to show it’s tea) Mistakes happen, but not correcting it when advised of it is the real issue here.

Highly recommend. Good range of options on the menu. Very good prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor inside is so cute. And the food was lush!! Had pancakes followed by ice-cream!

Quick meal out with my mum, thought we'd check out Jennys. Food was lovely but there was a little language barrier with waiter so we had to get up and double check they got the right order. Other than that food was lovely and it's very beautiful with the all the flowers hanging down.

We visited Northampton at the weekend and needed somewhere for lunch, found Jenny’s cafe and restaurant. The menu was extensive, very reasonable priced, the staff were lovely and catered to our needs even checking for gluten in the food for me. It has a really nice vibe and feel inside and was very busy which shows how good it is. The food came in good time and was delicious.

I paid just over 10 pounds please note the tomatoes 1 tiny slice but in all fairness it did taste really nice just disappointed that you don't get what you pay for not value for money

Place looks lovely, clean and nice atmosphere. The waitress was really polite and friendly. I gave 2* for the food. I ordered a Big Daddy Burger with some chips and an Oreo Milkshake. The beef burger was big but the patties were very disappointing 😞. Very rubbery, hard and tasteless. A bit cold in the middle. It really didn't taste like anything. I have eaten whatever I could as I was starving but left more than half if it. Definitely not a place I would come back to.

This is a much swisher-looking place on the inside than the frontage suggests. The name evokes ideas of a "homely" traditional place but here is something that appears to promise more. It is such a shame that the food didn't live up to that promise. I have only visited once and had the veggie breakfast. It consisted of three or four shrivelled mushrooms, sausages created from chopped vegetables but tasted of nothing but the oil they were cooked in and the potato waffle and scrambled eggs were similarly-flavoured. The beans were fine. You can't go wrong with beans. This was on a Sunday morning so perhaps the chef had an off day. I would normally go to the excellent Sandwich Bar across the street who use proper ingredients (eg Linda McCartney sausages) but they are closed on Sundays. The owner of Jenny's should try their breakfast fayre to see how it should be done.

The staff was courteous and polite, both the woman who served me and the man who was at the counter when I paid, the food came quickly, was nice and hot and presented really well. I usually have the burger or all day breakfast but I tried my friend's shepherd's pie and it was to die for! The booth seating at the wall was really comfortable. There's a really nice peaceful atmosphere, love the decor especially the flowers hanging from the ceiling near the counter. The music was lovely to listen to, just at the right volume as I can't hear well, definitely worth the price and would 100% eat here again. Thank you for your lovely service and meal to all the staff at Jenny's!

I ve been in there cos I saw the place is always busy and I order a cod and chips, didn t like at all… the cod taste like prawns… Idk maybe I expected more or I ve been in better places…

Dropped in for Sunday brunch. Clean. Well presented, with efficient and friendly service. We had most of the breakfast options, all pretty mediocre quality. Nothing specific to complain about but nothing tasty either. Cheap ingredients and non-brand sauces. Plates were cleared away before all diners had finished, which given it was not busy, was a little over zealous. Happy to make changes to order but not to substitute any item for another, even if 'cheaper'. Pancake/Waffle breakfast items hidden in dessert menu rather than breakfast/brunch menu. Overall, quite pricey considering quality.
